First of all, the quality of the workmanship was amazing! The installation team was just as good. They went above and beyond the scope for any little details that were extra. Test fitted the appliances, and the dimensions were dead on perfect! I mean EXACT!
Initially the design was enhanced by JD to make the final outcome even better than first imagined. Carlos saw another improvement to a lighting situation, and took our shelves back to the shop and made it to where our lighting will be hidden and professionally installed.
Overall the entire team made this project a complete success. And again, I cannot express enough how well they constructed every piece they installed. Every corner is exact, each peice is perfectly level, all of the joints are perfectly flush. Just a complete professional job all the way around.
If you need cabinets, I highly recommend you use Expression Woodworks!

Our experience with Expression Woodworks was less than fantastic. What started off to be what we thought as a wonderful working relationship, quickly turned into a nightmare of several months. We hired JD to compete an accent style wall by our back entry. It was a very easy project, nothing too in-depth. He came out rather quickly and seemed eager to earn our business. He quickly provided a quote on April 29th where we agreed to move forward. However, when it came time for installation the communication was lacking. It took me having to ask several times to get him to commit to a day and time. Once the piece was installed, he needed a few extra pieces to compete the trim. At this time we had asked for a quote on another project and he said he would happily provide one. Over the course of the next few months I received spotty communication, a lack luster attitude and one excuse after the next. We did learn one valuable lesson through this. We will never pay anyone until a job is fully completed. After JD received the money, we became an afterthought. After several unanswered text messages and an uncomfortable phone call he said he would try to get someone out to finish the job. He called me last minute about an hour before one of his workers would be at my home to add the finishing touches. That was a disaster. The worker did not caulk or touch up any nail areas and the trim he installed was so crooked and poorly constructed. After calling JD to address it, I got the run around and he finally admitted that it didn’t look good and he would come out to fix it. I thought he would be a little more kind after having one of his workers essentially screw up the job. He text me on a Friday afternoon thinking his text came through earlier than it did on my end and showed up to my home with such a piss poor attitude making one snarky remark after the next. After months of being so patience and understanding and being told I basically didn’t understand what he had been through the last few months I had had it. Everyone is having a tough time right now and you should never say something like that to people who you have no idea what they have been through themselves. He finished the job July 24th. As he went to leave he could barely utter the words “I’m sorry for how long it’s taken” as he walked out the door. While the finished product is nice, I cannot overlook the communication issues and the severe attitude problem. We never received the quote for the other project. This is not how business should be done. I will never do business with Expression Woodworks again.
