We had John and his team build us some custom cabinets with built in desk in the office and custom cabinets in the livingroom to replace our TV stand. I am so impressed, and so glad we found him! His work is absolutely amazing- Beautiful, good quality, and EXACTLY what I was envisioning. Everything was completed promptly and the installation was quick and painless. He obviously takes great pride in his work as he worked tirelessly to ensure I was 100% satisfied. I love supporting family businesses, especially when they are such a pleasure to deal with! If I find myself needing more cabinets in the future I’m glad I know who I will call!

We had finally decided to remodel the first-floor office in our beautiful home with a built-in desk, cabinets and shelves from floor to the 9’ ceiling. Now to find the right contractor. John was ‘Johnny on the spot’ to visit, talk about generalities and then specifics. (The wife was deeply involved in every step. LOL). After looking at (God knows) how many Internet pictures similar to our layout, we finally chose one. John did the professional graphics and the project was a go. Within a week, his guys arrived (along with John) with the cabinets and shelves already handmade and ready to install that day. Meticulous work! His painting crew arrived the following day and began work. BEAUTIFUL! Now, to pick the stain for the butcher-block counter-top – no easy mission. The painter brought samples of the ones we thought might work from a brochure and sure enough, exactly what we envisioned. A total of 2.5 days for painting and staining and we could not be happier. It is better than what we envisioned! John, your crew, and your ‘painters’ did fabulous work without costing us a fortune.you were exactly on the number than you bid. Great work! John who claims is the owner of the company is very arrogant and very unprofessional person I’ve ever met. He would not pick up phone calls or reply to any text messages for so long and after a long wait he is saying unacceptable amount to charge if he comes to finish what he was supposed to. I waited so long to review him thinking he must be busy for not coming to do his job but I was wrong he does not want to do his job, people be aware, it was a mistake to give a big job to him that was worth in thousands when this guy is after pennies! He is after $20 short paid that was actually rounded from total that was in thousands, I also paid his guys extra $75 plus gift, I can’t believe it! I never thought a person acting to be professional on his work would not come back to finish the work after getting paid in full. I am so upset with his behavior, I do not recommend him to do any jobs to anyone.

The above review of 1 star from “Neha” is fictional and factually inaccurate. These people received a quote for a beautiful office and entertainment center. The design was completed and a price and timeline were agreed upon in writing. During the project the homeowners asked if we would include fixing multiple other wood work projects in the house to which we agreed in good faith. We built shelves in the media room, fixing kitchen cabinet doors and fixed the drawers and feet on an existing dresser. The quoted and free projects were completed on time and were beautiful. We do not require full payment until the job is done and the homeowner is happy. However upon completion, the homeowners now demanded a reduction in price. We had already agreed upon a price and had done the work and now we are supposed to take a chunk out of our check. Take food off of the table? This is a family run business. The price is the price. Any negation is done before hand. Finally, when the final check was wrote they had to go ahead and short us $20. I’m not going to starve from loosing $20 but it’s the principle. So.after we left the job site and the customers door was broken (complete break probably from kids climbing on it). We weren’t available to help. We helped and helped and were shorted money just because they could.
The claim of “rounding the check” is ridiculous you can’t simply short people money because you like whole numbers. That doesn’t work anywhere.

Customers are very important to us, hence, I’m writing this to provide some clue to the situation.

We do hundreds of projects a year with completely happy customers. We are a family company that takes great pride in customer service and craftsmanship.

John does beautiful work, far exceeded my expectations! He built a large built in cabinet for my sitting room. I highly recommend him and will use him again!

Custom wood creations did an excellent job with our new built-in office desk. John was very helpful with our design changes. They were on time and clean. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
