As a homeowner for more than 40 years I've had more than my share of experiences with contractors and subcontractors, ranging from not very good to exceptional. I'm please to say my experience with Austin Painting and Cabinets was in the latter category-truly exceptional. Within 24 hours of my requesting a quote from APC, Tyler, the business owner contacted me to gather information and set up a time for an on-site visit and assessment. My wife and I were very impressed with Tyler's knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness, not to mention his very reasonable quote, that we decided to do business with him. The crew that he arranged to do the work excellent. They arrived early and went straight to work and worked extremely hard. The quality of the work was outstanding and we were impressed by how careful they were to clean everything up. Beyond satisfied with Tyler and his excellent crew! Obtained a rough estimate via email to paint a large wood staircase (handrails, posts, base/trim), followed by a home visit to discuss details and finalize the estimate. Tyler was incredibly thorough in discussing details and outlining issues for me to consider. Crew of 5 arrived on-time; very professional, extreme attention to detail, and clean up was immaculate. Staircase looks fabulous. Will use again in the future for sure!

Communication is key in the service industry. Tyler was exceptionally responsive throughout the project. He gave excellent advice and patiently guided me during the planning stages. His painting foreman, Severo, did a wonderful job. They taped and covered everything. The crew was efficient yet detailed. Overall, I'd highly recommend Austin Painting and Cabinets.

We’re so glad we found Austin Painting and Cabinets for our kitchen remodel. We knew when we bought the house that we would have to put in some work to bring it up to date, and the kitchen was our top priority (I’m sure it was lovely when the house was built, but styles have changed a bit since the fall of the Berlin Wall).

We had a general idea of the style and color we wanted to go with, but Tyler helped us think through the details and provided some great insight and guidance with a no-pressure approach. At some point we made a couple of changes to our plans which meant we couldn’t start as soon as we originally intended, but Tyler was patient with us and ensured that the entire process fit our ever-changing schedules. His team also worked to minimize the inevitable lifestyle disruption that accompanies any major home project.

Long story short, our kitchen is now the best-looking room in the entire house. We couldn’t be happier with the result, and we can recommend Austin Painting and Cabinets to anyone who’s looking to refresh their space.

Tyler and his team were amazing to work with! Tyler was professional, communicative and on time. They were courteous and kept a clean work area. We had a great experience with Austin Painting and Cabinets. The team was timely, professional, and precise with their painting. We had interior painting done and it looks great. Even though English is not the first language for most of the team, they try very hard to communicate exactly what is needed and Tyler was great with clearly communicating what would be done verbally and then would follow up with an email laying everything out. We are happy with the overall results!

Tyler and his team did a fantastic job with our kitchen remodel. They painted our updated and remodeled cabinets and put a nice fresh coat of paint on the kitchen walls. Our entire project was completed in two days and the team did a great job sealing off the work area for the job. I would definitely recommend them.

They did a great job painting our bathroom vanity. They were very detail oriented and still efficient too. Absolutely recommend them. Very quick to respond and schedule the work and got it done beautifully.

We hired Tyler and his crew to install new kitchen cabinets and a countertop for us. I initially found them because I wanted new cabinets installed then immediately painted. We ended up postponing the painting but did the install. Our project had a lot of twists and turns and bumps in the road and we appreciated Tyler helping us figure out how to navigate it all. We're very pleased with how everything turned out. They even turned it around on a compressed schedule to get everything done before a holiday break so we could enjoy our new kitchen during the break. Great company.

I can't say enough about Tyler and Severro. We hired them based on a neighbor's recommendation and they did not disappoint. They have repainted our entire house top to bottom, inside and out. Tyler provided quotes quickly and professionally (far faster than competition). They were on time (or early) and on budget. They showed up exactly when they said they would. They did an exceptional job, in a reasonable time and for less than other companies quoted.

Tyler managed the projects including countertops, backsplash, cabinet painting, installation of sink and faucet. Tyler and the team did great work and were very efficient—we were able to move in with very little work that needed to be fixed, and the issues that remained were quickly addressed. Bundled with some flooring, the price was very competitive for us.

These guys did a fantastic job! It was so easy to put my trust in them. From start to finish they communicated well and were solution oriented. Austin Painting and Cabinets did a superior job painting the interior of my new condo, and gave me a competitive price. They painted the interior of my entire condo (walls/ceilings/trim). Most of the walls and ceilings were painted dark and bright colors. I had the walls painted off white and the ceilings/trim a bright white.
I wanted to use a local company that had good reviews. When I contacted multiple painting contractors on Thanksgiving Day, Tyler (owner of Austin Painting and Cabinets) got back to me faster than anyone else (within 10 minutes), and also didn’t put me off until after Thanksgiving, like the others did (above and beyond what you would expect). Tyler always got back to me quickly, throughout the process, which is great because I’m impatient. Tyler pays serious attention to detail. He asked me tons of questions about what I wanted and gave me very detailed explanations about everything, during the estimate meeting. It didn’t seem like he was in a rush at all, when he came for the estimate (more focused on understanding what I wanted and explaining things), which I cannot say for the other contractors. Regarding some of the things I was having difficulty deciding on, I asked for Tyler’s opinion (during the estimate), and he was 100% correct. It all looks spectacular, and I’m so glad that I had a pro that could give me helpful advice. My final decision to use Austin Painting and Cabinets was after I had met all the contractors, gotten all of the estimates, and realized that I would be dealing directly with the owner of the company (Tyler) instead of an employee of the company, and of course the price was right.
He and the crew were always on time, clean, professional, skilled and friendly. They all wore masks at all times and it didn’t even feel like we were in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, as scheduling was not an issue. They got the work done on time and I was amazed at the results! They also did an exceptional job in keeping things clean and cleaning up after themselves. Rudy, the foreman on my job was also awesome. Everything is spotless and the new paint is seamless. My home is exactly how I wanted it to be and it feels like home now, even though I haven’t moved in yet.

From the initial quote to the end result, Tyler and his team were totally professional. His pricing was competitive. He and his guys arrived on-time for the job, they were extremely detailed in their work and cleaned up really well after it was all done. The only negative thing I can say is that it looks so good in the rooms they painted, that now I feel like I need to paint the rest of the house! LOL. But for real, we could not be happier with the results. We will definitely be reaching out, again, in the future for other painting work in our home.

This was the first project in my new home and I solicited multiple bids after going overboard trying to do the project myself. The other contractors would not add the hardware installation and tried to talk me out of the colors I wanted. Tyler and his team at Austin Painting and Cabinets not only explained the entire timeline of the work, but they gave me exactly what I wanted in terms of color, look and hardware, along with guaranteing their work.

When my critical eye spotted a minor issue with the leveling of a cabinet pull, the team stayed around and worked on the cabinet until it was corrected. With the paint taking a while to dry, there were some minor issues that were identified after the project was completed. Tyler and his team quickly rescheduled and came by my home again until the work was completed up to my satisfaction. He and his team were very professional throughout the entire project and took very good care of my personal belongings (ensuring nothing got paint splattered on it).

Not only would I recommend Austin Painting and Cabinets, but I plan for using them again on additional home projects in the near future.

ONLY THREE STARS NOW. 2nd Job - not so great. Hired this company a second time, but a different painter came. He got in a rush. He should have put a second coat on and caulked the seams. There are small drips from the trim I am just now seeing while trying to hang decorations. So now I have to put on a second coat in one room myself! Also, I was told that I should inspect the quality of the job myself. Room looks bad and get new paint, it looks better. I am not a professional painter, so I didn't see all the errors at first.

Great job! Tyler is great at communicating and lets you know when he is coming and what will happen. Pricing was reasonable. His crew was polite, clean, and efficient. He even came back after the paint was dry and helped move the furniture back into the room. I will definitely use this company again!

Excellent work! Transformed our house. My wife and I still cannot believe how good our house looks-and we are both very picky! The work was amazing. Tyler came by often to see how things were going and communicated clearly with us. They worked around us with as minimal disruption as is possible. Tyler's foreman, Sberro was friendly and funny and his attention to detail was impressive. We had the entire inside of the house painted, including ceilings, doors and trim. This was to prepare the house to sell. Needless to say, the house sold quickly for much more than asking-it showed really well-and the excellent job Austin Painting and Cabinets did was a huge reason why. We have already told many friends and neighbors about them and would definitely use them again!
