Bel Aire Motel

Nonstop blaring music all hours of the night. No respect for anyone else sleeping in this motel. Tried sleeping through it and had the worst sleep only to come to morning and they still have music so loud. Please don't stay here unless you have no other possible choice. It's cheap for a reason I found out. They even said "it gets a little loud at night" excuse me? Is this not a hotel? Do they not care how anyone acts in these rooms that effects the other staying here? Clearly.

Great experience needed a place to crash late after deer hunting, nothing special, but the room was very affordable and clean. The gal working on the desk was very polite and helpful.wish you guys would put up the "imaginary friends stay for free" again

We stayed at Belle Aire 4 nights while hunting in November 2023. It is an older place that has been remodeled and was perfect for our needs. The two bed room we had had the bathroom between the two beds to offer some privacy between the us. The place was clean and quiet. There was not any coffee pot in the room but the lady that manages the place had coffee ready in the office. The manager lady was nice and always around if we needed something. We will definitely stay here again

I stayed here for 3 months for work. It was a pleasant experience. Most of the rooms have been remodeled and are nice. The rates are extremely reasonable and they didn't try to raise them during hunting season. If I go back to the area, I will definitely be staying here again.

Rooms are occupied full time by very dirty people. Lots of drug activity, would not ever stay at this hotel again. If you are a hunter, do not stay here. Make sure vehicles are locked and all valuables are removed. I would never ever stay at this hotel again.

The staff was nice and upgraded the room. It was redone and had several beds if you are In a group. It had a little kitchen too, fireplace and big tv

This sounded good from the reviews right up until the man who answered the phone stated they charge a pet fee for service animals. I told him that is illegal and a direct violation of the ADA and he argued the point. I'll be contacting the ADA tomorrow and I encourage anyone else who has a service animal to do likewise.

I walked into my room and and there was literally a pile of dirt. Effing nasty. The floor was also sticky all throughout the room.

Friendly staff, was very helpful with finding food around the area and stores also. Room was small but not crowded. Everything was clean and well kept

Great wifi. Clean. Staff is awesome. Rich is welcoming and helpful. Theres little nicks and dings here and there, but they're working on it. Rooms are under constant renovation. But the finished result is great. Looks like custom woodwork. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Ac worked. Quiet area, pretty area, seemed safe. Beds comfy. Pillows comfy. Has a fridge and microwave.

Came into town and late and there was no availability with other well known hotel chains. My wife found this gem and we were very happy with our experience. Very cool wood working and clean room. The front desk was super accommodating. Would definitely stay here/recommend it to others for future visits.

The Bel Aire is a work in progress! It’s a retro motel that needs some TLC and completely appreciate what the owners are working on. The room was clean and mostly updated. The grounds need a little sprucing up but the tables and fire pit were a nice addition. The service was great and we will gladly stay again if we are coming through Chamberlain.

A great place to lay your head after a long day on the road. A roadside motel all lower level, individual doors with benches outside. Nice even for one of the un-remodeled rooms it was clean and comfy. I would have loved coffee in the room or at the desk, but no. Close to several restaurants, fast food and gas stations in a quiet, sleepy little town.

Booked through a third party. Room was newly renovated and clean. We booked the family suite, it was great for our family. Had 3 beds, stocked kitchenette and friendly staff.

I'm a review reader to find stuff! People were right this was a gem called last minute got a room rich was pleasant, and room was clean bed comfortably! On vacation this older place was better than the big boys were we been at this week! Thanks and don't believe booking sites saying full call

Friendly staff and very helpful! Room was perfect! The fire pit and outdoor area was awesome as well! Manager deserves a 5 star for sure!

Excellent customer service. Super clean. Older motel that has been remodeled. We were given the 3 bed suite. It has recently been remodeled with a retro rustic decor. We loved it and we were very impressed with our overall Chamberlain, SD experience.

Don't waste your money. Absolutely disgusting rooms! We checked out 15 minutes later and got a full refund, so that was the only positive experience.

If your looking for a Marriott, this place is not for you. If you are looking for a road trip stay that is unique and extremely clean with amazing service then check this place out!
Room was large (we had a triple). Kids had their own twin beds in the back, which to them was like having their very own room. Everything was very clean. One of the cleanest rooms we stayed in.
Woke up to a note on the door about coffe and donuts! It was a memory maker for sure. We plan to go back in the future.

Most places were fully booked when we came into town, we called and the guy on the phone was super friendly and helpful, when we arrived check in was quick and easy. Dog friendly and affordable. We got a room that wasn’t renovated yet, and it was fine for just one night. There were some bugs like gnats, mosquitoes and moths in the room that were flocking around the lights. Seemed pretty normal given the motel is right by the water. Just smashed em and went to sleep. Good for a one night stay at a good price!
