Poor customer service. I’m not sure why the services was so poor. I don’t want to make it racial but this is PA. I get to the shop and ask for an inspection. Able tells me ok he needs my insurance and registration, no problem. I hand him my registration and email my insurance. He walks away after about 10-15 min of standing there I yell out to see what’s going on. Able is sweeping I ask what’s going on he says he’s sweeping to get the lift ready and if I’m in hurry he can’t help me. I got up out of there at the very lease he could have explained to me the process and what’s going on.after standing in his place of business I didn’t even have a price.

No way to give ZERO stars

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE!

Horrible service in EVERY SINGLE WAY!
Ruined my daughter’s brakes, rotors and lug nuts (which cost me $160 to replace 20 of them) they do not take accountability for their lack of work and knowledge.
RUN!
THIEVES and actively taking them to small claims court.

On Saturday 6/10/2023 Brought In a 2016 Dodge Dart after calling in to see pricing on axle labor. Turns out it was cheaper than some places around so we bit the bullet using new mechanic. Very nice people in the beginning and fixed the axles called us and we thought all was well. Kid you not. The next day. Our brake fluid started draining as we checked there was a nice hole in the brake line. We lost brake power on the highway which caused us to check and noticed the brake light on also could of gotten into a bad accident. Had to replace the brake line due to brake failure. 6/12/2023 walk in and the woman already caught a defensive attitude without even realizing why we were there in the first place and pretended that she didn’t even know who we were 2 days later but had no problem taking the money. The mechanic in the back also broke one of our tire caps during the repair. We NEVER had any issues with the braking system at all even getting it looked at 2 weeks prior to going here to get it fixed. Leads me to think this cannot be a coincidence.

Needed a used tire to get back on the road Memorial day weekend. Was taken care of very quickly even though they were already working on other cars. Price was great.

Kind, generous, professional, clean, trusted establishment. I will make them my mechanic for life.

They currently have my car and the engine needs to be redone. They worked on my car last year but it wasn't as serious as this. I see a lot of bad reviews but I think they're requirement is to be straightforward and respectful. I see positive interactions between them and other customers. The only thing I've seen so far is if someone's rude they don't tolerate it. They've patiently waited for me to find/get an engine. I will change edit my review to either 5 stars or less contingent on the outcome but so far so good!

A coworker of mine had suggested this place so I went to check it out. Went there around 8: 20am for a vehicle inspection. The men there were very nice and helpful, and I was out in no time! Inspection was good (save for the wiper blade) and I will definitely be coming back again!

Took my 2018 Silverado (immaculate condition) for an inspection. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my truck. "Billy Bob" took my truck for a "test drive) tore my wiper blade then tried telling me they need to change them in order for me to pass the inspection. I change control arms, ball joints, shocks etc on my cars by myself so wiper blades are easy enough.in fact I used my wipers just this morning to clean frost from the windscreen and they're like new, in addition, the pride I take in my truck, I won't be driving around an $80,000 truck with torn wipers? These people are crazy! I've since reported them to several agencies, consumer affairs, vehicle inspection authority. Reviews are helpful but the more we report this behavior to these authorities, the better chance of action being taken for our collective protection from these criminals.

I had a low pressure tire reading on a long drive by myself and randomly called to ask for help. She told me to come in and they checked air - added air and I was on my way! Thankyou so much!

I needed help installing two new tires ASAP. I called the shop and was greeted by a gentleman who told me that I could come in as a walk-in. The very next day, I headed over there early in the morning. I was greeted by both a gentleman and a woman who were both very friendly. My car was serviced and I was out of the shop in an hour. The prices were reasonable and the service was great. I will be coming back to get more work done on my vehicle. I recommend this shop.

This is definitely not the friendliest place there is and not big on costumer service. Asked the guy if he checked the check engine he said no when I asked how come he said it wasn't asked to be done. I asked if they don't do it as a courtesy specially with new costumers.the guy got upset I had to tell him to chill out because I didn't say he did anything wrong I'm just asking because that's what I'm used to. The guy said he been doing this for many years and that's not his problem we didn't ask. Is it my fault this shop does not know how to catch bees with honey? This is the kind of shop that takes your money and when you turn around badmouth you.stay away from this shop unless you don't mind being treated like their doing the work for free but charging you for it

Terrible. Don't go here for an inspection or anything else unless you like getting robbed. Owner is rude and talks down to potential customers in an arrogant and condescending manner. Seems like he makes enough money robbing his loyal clientele that he doesn't care about getting new customers.

Do not go to this shop for an inspection unless you want to end up paying 5-6 times more.
As other reviews mentioned, this shop is deceiving it's customers and this is how they do it:
I took my car for an enhanced inspection. They quoted me $175.btw owner was so aggressive and disrespectful during the interaction that shocked me, should have left the shop right away, a huge mistake. So I said, ok, let's do it and left. Next morning the owner calls me and says that in order to pass the inspection my car has to have brakes changed, left front strut replaced and some other things quoting me almost $900 total. I got suspicious, I've driven this car before and had not noticed anything wrong with brakes or struts. I said I'd call back, then I looked up their reviews and read several similar complaints from other customers. Had a few follow up phone calls with them trying to clear things up, went back in person, tried to refuse the service at all, but they still failed my inspection and still charged me $175 for it. The same day I took the car to another Inspection station in Scranton and guess what? It PASSED the inspection with no issues.

I've already disputed that charge with my bank and most likely I'll get it back, but as you can see, these are very dishonest people. One day they quote you one price, next day they will try to sell you more unnecessary stuff, and if you refuse, they will fail your inspection, but still charging you for it.

Best place to get any work done on your cars and trucks. Quality work, fast and at great prices. I have four cars and have all work done here.

I love these folks I live in Boston Massachusetts when my son needs work done on his suv I call they are very accommodating and nice no nonsense repairs extremely reasonable and very honest I've never had an issue with any of the work done at able I wish there were more mechanics like this available that thre a wonderful find for me.

I have been a customer at able auto for over 4 years now my son has also had a number of things repaired over this time on 3 different vehicles I could not be happier with a mechanic or price for the repairs performed I've never once had to return for an issue or have never blocked at this price I find them to be good honest more than fair business owners and would recommend anyone in need of an auto repair try his services I can most certainly say you would be hard pressed to find better workmanship or s prices at most places! John has always treated me and my son more than fair

Very friendly. Fixed my windsheild wiper being out of sync in a matter of minutes! Will definitely be returning for my mechanical needs!

The couple that runs this place are very nice and honest people. I would definitely recommend this place.

I love John and his wife. I've been bringing my cars there for 3 years and they have always taken care of me. I don't trust anyone else to work on my car.

These place is a worse customer service they deserve to be out of business some one need to close these place down

Grossly overpriced, very unprofessional, and literally the slowest shop I’ve ever been to.it took them 2 hrs to change two tires and install to tires on bare rims. I’ll never come back here and I suggest people do the same

Don’t get scammed. Just go somewhere else. My experience there was awful. I was Warned but didn’t listen.

Look at it this from a guy that seedbed scam far away. He charges $300 for a $80 Job. He lies to people that their car engine is Bad because he wants to buy it fix the minor issue and flip it. Think I’m lying? Visit his Shop one day. Be smart and visit another Shop

Very reasonable prices, customer service is A1, they don’t lie or try to get over on ppl. Thank God for them.

First time customer and will be a long time customer! Great service and great prices and more than that were excited to find a honest

The time they tell you it's going to take to fix your vehicle. It just so, clean, they have wifi. Not expensive
