Oklahoma City Vision

I’ve been going to OKC Vision for several years for myself and my kids. We love everyone there being so friendly and helpful. Dr Phillips is the best and really takes time to listen to his patients. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a high tech clinic that hasn’t lost the old school touch.

The stuff were rude without customer service skills. I do not recommend this place. Money hungry.

Watch out for their off insurance billing, and sending you to collections for bills never agreed as personal.

Was advised to be in cataract surgery and never told would require post op visits and procedures, which hit in a different billing cycle and became personal when not covered on insurance.

Very unhelpful customer accounting, wanted full payment plus collection fees, at the full insurance rate rather than more private patient rate, or Medicare and no Medicaid taken Hitting your credit report was NOT appreciated. Found them being the “owners” very cold and callous, and most unhelpful. I’d definitely look elsewhere, and watch those tricky forms they sneakily make you sign, with small print saying you are personally liable, if your insurance did-avows or refuses to pay… leaves you high and dry.

Be very careful signing anything.

Always a pleasant experience. Visits are efficient yet thorough. Dr. Pitt is knowledgeable and explains your personal eye health at every annual exam.

At checkout I found out that they charge you differently for a contact fitting if you have astigmatism (which 1 in 3 people do) than if you don't. So instead of my fitting being $40 (I have EyeMart vision insurance through BCBS) for a "Standard Fitting", they charged me $150 because my insurance only covers 10% of a contact fitting billed as a "Premium Fitting". Which I knew that's how my insurance billed, but my insurance told me Premium Fittings are super rare since they're typically unnecessary, so I had no idea that I needed to ask them if I was at risk of being charged for a Premium Fitting when no provider has every charged me for one before, and astigmatisms are so common. At no point was I given any warning that they had different tiers for fittings or different pricing based on a patients having very common eye conditions. Also, you know that awkward/frustrated feeling you get when you're buying a car and you're stuck in the room with the finance guy trying to upsell you on a million add-ons? Everyone here has that vibe - from the doctor who immediately jumped on trying to get me to switch from monthly contacts to daily contacts before he'd even looked at my eyes, to the techs giving me the contacts to try on, and the people at checkout. Daily contacts are $750 per year, and everyone kept saying that monthly's would save "a little money BUT. " and trying to get me to go for them. Monthly contacts are $350. $400 isn't "a little money". $350 is less than half of what daily contacts cost. A high pressure vibe the whole time I was there and I left feeling.icky.

Sometimes they have to get things right or they wouldn't have a score of 4 stars. That other 20 percent stings though. As good as they can be they can equally be terrible. As a long time patron of this business, I wont ever be back.

Walked in to adjust my Italian sunglasses and walked out within 10 minutes. Very good selection of designer eyewear by Gucci, Oliver People’s, Tom Ford, and more. Will certainly go back for all my eye care needs in the future.

I'm almost 53 and have never had an eye exam. I have Behcet's Syndrome and recently started having eye involvement, inflamation and blurry vision that comes from an immune disorder. Had no idea were to start and was very apprehensive. I prayed for God to lead me to the place perfect for my needs.and here I am at Oklahoma City Vision. So very pleased with the care I am receiving. Thoughtful, kind and conciderate of all my needs like insurance, perscription pay and co pays. I was offered a perscription discount coupon that saved me over $150 They examined my symptoms and actually talked with me, not at me and actually listened to me. Promptly came up with a plan and we scheduled a follow-up in two weeks. It was such a relief and honestly a surprise to find such a wonderful eye care home. Thank you Oklahoma City Vision.

They will force you to buy contacts and glasses from them before giving you a prescription (unethical)

Don't go here, ultimately they just try to convince you to buy their tacky overpriced glasses. Additionally they'll automatically schedule your next appointment, then they give no option to cancel said appointment via text or online - they'll force you to call. And when they charge you the cancellation / no show fee - conveniently they give you the option to pay online. How neat is that! Save your money - go somewhere that doesn't use sketchy practices to get every last dollar out of you.

Everyone was very polite and professional. Best eye exam I ever received l. I highly recommend Dr Trent Pitt and his staff for your next eye exam and /or glasses and contact needs.

I never write reviews, but my service was above and beyond and deserves recognition. Best experience I have had as a healthcare patient/customer in a long time. My baby scratched my cornea with her fingernail and I was in a lot of pain. Every member of the staff I dealt with including the person who took my initial phone call to make my appointment, the receptionist, the nurse, Dr. Phillips, and the billing lady were all very polite, kind, helpful, and extremely competent. Dr. Phillips took great care of me and got me fixed up and feeling better right away. I am very happy with my experience and the service I received. I will be recommending Oklahoma City Vision and Dr. Phillips to everyone I know who has a need.
