To say only one guy was in the cooking and taking orders and still getting the food out hot fresh and very good says a lot…will be the my new neighborhood go to spot!

Even though it was a little pricey they had a good rating and I was hungry for some good BBQ. I have to say, I was very disappointed. The ribs were hard on one end, the pulled pork was chewy, the Mac and cheese was watery. It is definitely not worth the price.

Onion rings are good! Everything else that we ate was trash! Trails End BBQ in Owasso, OK is 1 million times better!

I called ahead for two smoked potatoes, one with brisket and rib meat and the second with brisket and pulled pork. They were each $20 but it was a hefty amount of meat on top of a large smoked potato and then toppings, cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, chopped onion and jalapeno. The meal was delicious and the service was great! My order was ready within 12 minutes of calling. I was in and out. With previous owners, I had an over hour wait and the food was ok. In my opinion the new ownership is on the right track with great food and service! Great job guys! I like your social media videos too.

I’d share a pic of my food but there’s nothing but empty containers left. If you’re a fan of Food Network’s Diner, Drive-in and Dives and wished you could try some of those amazing places, well Owasso has a little gem worth trying. In a town of Mexican joints and Chicken places and a few decent bbq places- this unassuming little place is easily overlooked being attached to a mini mart but go - run, grab the boys, the wife - just come hungry. You won’t need the bbq sauce (but it’s good too), the ribs, the brisket, Bologna, the chicken… no matter what you pick you’ll come back for more! The ‘nana puddin’ is like Grammas! Mac n cheese is definitely not Kraft… everything is just - wow. Done right. Just the right amount of seasoning and the prefect kiss of a smoker, a whole lot of dedication and passion for honest to goodness great food. Drive up and let that sweet smell of the giant smoker draw you in - let out your belt a notch or two and enjoy! You’ll be back!

I found another hole in the wall. Hands down, MUST TRY THIS PLACE! Probably one of the best BBQ places I've been. For sure the best in Oklahoma! I tried the loaded fries. Damn! The brisket was so good! Definitely need to come back and try out other items on their menu. Had the pleasure of meeting Larry, he is the meat master and he actually competes bbq food competitions. No wonder the food is so good here.

Great brisket, great service. Dined in and had the loaded tots and it was worth every penny. James was extremely nice, brought the wife and I samples of beans and jalapeño sausage. To top it off, there’s a discount for healthcare workers and police officers! Wish I would’ve taken a pic of the food before I ate it!

I'm pretty picky with my BBQ, it has to be great. This is the absolute BEST BBQ I have ever had here in OK. The ribs were very tender, not fall off the bone, but that's how I like mine. Nice and big and very tender. The bark was on point and had a great flavor. The hot links are smoky, tasted amazing, but not too spicy. The beans were mind blowing. We killed a quart and I wished I would have bought a 5gal bucket instead. James did a superb job with this meal and this is my new favorite place around here. If you love BBQ, don't look any further, I hope he sticks around for a long time.

I travel all over the country between 2 to 3 weeks a month. I am always looking for good Barbque spots. I come from the south, and sometimes it's very difficult to find good "southern" Barbque. This place is a hidden gem. I ordered the rib plate with a ¼ lb of pulled pork. They smoke everything. Baked beans, potato salad, and fried Okra. I thought I was back in Alabama. If you're driving north of Tulsa and in the mood for some good food, this is the place.

Had the Holy Grail loaded potatoe and it was really good. Will be back when in the area again. Highly suggest this little gem.service was good and food good.

Food is really juicy and wonder flavor! The staff is amazing people so friendly would definitely recommend it.

96th BBQ was fantastic! My husband and I decided to stop in today for the first time, and I’m so glad we did. We ordered two chopped brisket sandwiches with baked beans, I originally had wanted fried okra but the guy said they were just warming up the oil, so we ordered the baked beans instead. It was soooo delicious! The owner was so nice, thanked us for coming in and shook our hands. Get this– halfway through our meal this guy comes out with the fried okra i originally wanted to order! It was such a kind gesture and y’all, the okra was my husband doesn’t normally care for fried okra but even he was loving it! Hands down amazing BBQ with such great gentlemen operating the restaurant. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

First time at 96th BBQ. New owners and employees. Very friendly! Small dining area but they are glad to pack your order to go. The ribs were very tasty the beans were delicious. Was told the baked potatoes are their specialty. BBQ nachos looked delicious. This was their first week so they are working out the kinks, like how much meat to smoke. If your looking for some flavorful smoke meat give them a try.

This place is incredible! I was on my way to another BBQ place in owasso and they were closed. So I gave this place a try. This will be my BBQ go to from now on. Very flavorful and the portions were generous.

New review (New owners, fall 2022) :

Ew. I will NEVER return. The flavor of the ribs and brisket is lack-luster, and the ribs were chewy, under cooked, and had ZERO smoke ring. They were very quick to tell us it was New management and that they were a different restaurant now, so I wanted to make sure that nobody sees my old review and wastes money at 96th St. BBQ anymore. Seriously gross, we had to go somewhere else to get food later because we didn't finish it.

Old review (before the change of ownership in 2022) :
I will never go to another BBQ restaurant in Owasso again! The service was top notch and the staff (owners?) was friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations! The inside of the restaurant was clean and welcoming, and you could tell from the smell that it was going to be some of the best food around. We got the loaded fries with brisket, ribs, friend okra, smoked chicken, and baked beans. OH MY GOODNESS it was incredible! The loaded fries were a big mess of meet, cheese, and great fries covered in sauce. I will absolutely get those again! The ribs were some of the best I've ever had, and I'm so glad I was talked into the fried okra.

I will be back!

First thing they did was give a huge list of things they're out of. Tried to order catfish which was on the menu and wasn't one of the items they said was out, was told they haven't had catfish in a long time. Order took rather long to get even though we were the only ones in the store. Not going back.
