It smells great, the food was very good not the best but very good. Iwent for lunch 18bux for buffet a lil steep in my opinion, no salad (thats extra) no brisket also (extra).

This place is the bestest in every area! The owner. Daniel has a wonderful restaurant. The food is priced low for the amount of food they give you! Our waitress. Carlee couldn't do enough for us. She was very professional in telling us about different things to order. She was very polite and met all our needs! Try it out! You won't be disappointed! This business is a great asset to Lakeland. The food is incredible, probably the best BBQ I have ever had. I honestly cannot think of anywhere better. The location and atmosphere is wonderful, the place is just beautiful. All of the staff are friendly and you can tell they are proud to be there. We were taken care of by Brian and he is fantastic. The attention to detail in every aspect of the customer experience here is in my opinion unmatched. On top of the amazing food, service and ambience, if it's a beautiful day outside you can sit outside and have the perfect view of the runway and landing strip of the Johnston County Airport. The kids loved it and so did I! We will definitely be back as this was the best birthday dinner out I have ever had. Thank you low and slow!

The view and the service was good, but. All of our meat was room temp or cool. Mac and cheese had been scorched and they served it any way. You could smell it before you even tasted it. I guess they thought they could just skim off the top, but the flavor and smell had already penetrated. Worst part, is after they were told, they kept serving it to others. Ketchup bottle was empty. We all said it wasn't the worst, but don't think we'd go back

I was a little disappointed in the food. My brisket was crunchy in spots and I had to pick through my sandwich to remove the hard bits. Atmosphere is excellent and staff friendly and attentive. Fun place to go and watch the planes taking off and landing. Considered getting the buffet, but the steam tables didn't seem to be hot.

This place is amazing! I've lived in NC for 8 years and this place is hands down the best BBQ Food I've eaten since I been here. Huge portions, Great Selections, Excellent Tasting Food, Bar Area, Very Clean, Super Friendly Service, Awesome Atmosphere right on the small airport grounds. Views from in the restaurant or on the huge outdoor patio area of the runway, and parked planes area. We saw several planes land and take off while we were there. Super cool experience. Highly Recommend

Food was fresh and great. The servers gave us our food in a timely manner & correctly. The costs is very ideal also. Only complaint is the chairs hurt your butt & the floor can be slippery if you have sneakers.

4th time there very disappointed the BBQ pulled pork was extremely fatty.was way better before.sad

The staff were very friendly and welcoming to our group of 7. Waitress was great, and food was served quickly after ordering.

Overall the food was very good; however, I found the sides (collards and green beans) to be bland. The mac and cheese was amazing, but the grilled cheese sandwich was probably the best thing that I ate. Unfortunately the bacon appetizer wasn’t available.heads up that cash was not accepted, so be sure to bring other payment options.

I ordered Brisket Plate from the lunch menu.the brisket was very tender, nice flavor, no sauce needed. The place was so relaxing, waitress was friendly, came by a few times to see if I was doing ok etc. I will definitely go back again!

As cool as location is the sub par food and bad service aren't worth the high prices.

Servers were nice. Food took a very long time to come out and was not nearly good enough to warran the prices. It was okay, but it wasn't satisfying. Better food at any chain BBQ place.

Ate the brisket, outstanding and big portions. Uncle had ribs and said they were some of the best he's ever had. And he's been all over the country. Food came out quickly. Great service will definitely be back again.

What a unique experience and location for a BBQ place! We jeepers did a cancer benefit ride from Wilson to here yesterday then ate at this restaurant where they donated 10% of proceeds to the family for 4hrs as well. We had a great turnout, great service and amazing food while watching planes outside on their beautiful large patio. Our group really enjoyed the food and a few of us had beers as well and I had a margarita? The BBQ platter I got was HUGE and I got coleslaw and collard greens as my 2 sides and it came with very moist and yummy cornbread too. My friend got the loaded potato with brisket and she really enjoyed it. Ber husband got the Trinity platter with had 3 types of meat on it - sausage, brisket and ribs and 2 sides. He enjoyed that and took a to go plate home as well. Others got chicken tenders, baked chicken and another platter. All said the food was delicious and such a great place to hangout and enjoy the afternoon. We saw someone beside us get the brisket nachos and can't believe how HUGE they were. Definitely need to try those next time. The place has plenty of parking and seating and definitely a must visit. So glad to discover this spot, we are coming for the air show here on 3/25 can't wait to get my nachos I'm sure it will be busy!? Food and atmosphere was excellent. Had an extremely inexperienced waitress that had to repeatedly come back and ask us what we had ordered for drinks. But then wouldn't see her for long periods in between. Just didn't seem like she had it all together. Didn't know how to spell Heineken. Didn't catch her name, and don't know if I would post it anyway to embarrass her. I just hope she can learn to do better. Still tipped 20%.

Some friends took us here while we were in town. It's a nice local place at the regional airport. Not a place I'd consider for a meal.

The meats were delicious, I got the sampler platter to try them all and have nothing bad to say about any of the meats.but the sides could use a little pick-me-up. Cornbread was delicious. Great atmosphere. I'll come back!

The brisket was tuff the mac and cheese was terrible. Spent 25 dollars on this plate. Will not be back. I was really hoping this place was going to have good food. Hard to find good food theses days.

We celebrated by birthday recently and the food and services was excellent. Best brisket you will eat, better than Red Neck BBQ.

As a business owner, I appreciate good service. This was my first visit to Low & Slow Restaurant and Oh mylanta did it knock my socks off! We had some of the best food that NC has to offer! I was literally blown away that this little tucked away Restaurant at the airport was topping anything that I've had in the RDU area. The restaurant was extremely clean as well as the bathrooms. To make our experience even sweeter we had the pleasure of meeting one of the most vibrant waitresses as well named ANGEL. She was extraordinary! From her positive vibe she brought from the time she greeted us to providing us with a to go tea, this sweet lady proves as a great asset to your dining experience. I will definitely recommend this establishment to friends and family. You all made an outstanding impression!

Stopped in while my airplane was being serviced. I had the brisket sandwich and slaw for lunch, it can feed two! Service was top drawer.

The food was excellent! A little bit on the pricey side of BBQ but I don't mind paying for well executed and great food. Also it is card only no cash just so you are aware. Would definitely eat here again.

Food wasn't great and over priced for what you get. Service wasn't great either had to ask for sauce and a drink refill several times.
