We enjoyed our breakfast gathering thanks to delicious food and the quality of service provided. Briggs has a great family atmosphere with a wide variety of food choices available.

Great food, great environment, and friendly staff. The best breakfast/brunch place in town. Everyone makes you feel like family there and the food was amazing. Quick service as well on a day they were packed.

I ordered a Reuben. It was thick with corned beef and juicy. Tasted good. Service was a bit slow but all the orders were correct.

I love this restaurant sooo much. The pancakes are HUGE and sooo delicious. The food wait is quick and hot. My waitress was very nice and took very good care of our table. My husband loved his egg omelet. I can't wait to return.we have made this our birthday breakfast spot! They serve breakfast and lunch until 230p. So if you want good breakfast go and see them.

Had to visit twice, corned beef hash was top shelf.

Pretty good food. I ordered the skillet, it was a little heavy for me. I was only able to eat 1/4 of it. I’m not the biggest breakfast fan but I love pancakes. I was not expecting eggs on top of the skillet. The ham and meat inside was good however the eggs had no seasoning. Overall good experience, next time I will just order less food and not the skillet.

There was a significant line when we arrived but it moved along very quickly. The food was excellent and well worth waiting for.

First time eating here. Our waiter Arturo was amazing very friendly & attentive. The food was excellent they give you a lot for the prices & the prices are very decent. Next time I am in Durham or passing through Durham I got to stop here again.

The Eggs Benedict plate was beautifully presented and just as delicious. The service was also top notch. Will definitely be back!

Appreciate the COVID-19 procedure in place. Order taken in courteous and prompt manner. Wait time was less than 15-minutes. Food was plentiful, fresh and delicious! The Host (Mr. Michael) displayed outstanding customer service; he was very professional in appearance, personable and prompt. Will visit again.

Food and service wonderful as usual. We came in around 2: 15pm and had completely forgotten that they close at 2: 30p. WE NEVER FELT RUSHED. We absolutely appreciate that!

For brunch on the day of my civil marriage, we gathered at Brigs. Everything tasted fine, according to my group of 7 friends. However, I found nothing was of distinct flavor. I was actually a bit disappointed the white of my eggs, the albumen, wasn’t thoroughly cooked. Had I known “sunny side up” signified both yolk and white would be runny, I’d of opted for scrambled eggs. Anyway, in addition to eggs, I selected avocado toast with bacon and cheese as toppings. I was pleased with the amount of avocado spread I received. Upon removing approximately half of the mozzarella cheese topping (a bit too much), I took delight in every bite. The dinning room was entirely occupied, and several figures of all shapes and sizes decorated the sidewalk leading to the restaurant’s front doors. Prices here are unbeatable- great quantity and good quality meals in addition to a humble environment and friendly service, although service was quite slow.

Home fries were aweful! Tasted like they had garlic and hot sauce on them. Had the bacon egg and cheese croissant.egg way to thick but tasted ok once I shaved the egg down.maybe next time I'll try something different.

The line was long but the wait wasn't! The good was excellent for the price! Only thing missing are mimosas!

Always the best! Great big portions, never any complaints. When family comes to visit I take them here. This is a must go to place.

The food was so delicious! The prices were really good. And Arturo was our waiter. Could not ask for any better waiter! I will definitely go back and eat there again.

It was packed when we got lunch on 8/28/21. However, our food came out at a reasonable time. Food was hot. I got the pimento cheeseburger. I loved that the pimento was a bit spicy. The fruit was good. The waitress was okay. I vaguely emember her personality or if she even checked on us. She was an older lady maybe in her late 30s? The experience would've been better if we a more upbeat waitress.

The service here was horrible the casheir at the door is rude and ive been waiting 30 minutes now for a small order just unprofessional

Happy Birthday to me yes today is my birthday and for a gift And I got to find out why Brigs is rated number 1 with their Eggs Benedict I had the coastal carb cake with the home fries as a Eggs Benedict connoisseur this was a wonderful surprise to find on hwy 55 in Durham The crab cakes took up the entire English muffin where you could get the perfect bite every time the home fries were fresh hot and delicious if you haven’t been there you need to come on in and taste why they are number 1. I also want to point out how great the staff is with their Covid protocol when you go on the door is a big red stop sign where they are only letting people in one at a time and keeping everybody separated there is plenty of hand sanitizer in the entire staff wear masks this place was awesome from the staff to the food

Definitely were busy when we went, but service could have been better. Only got seated after a 30 minute wait because we called out the hostess seating a party the same size that arrived after us. Saw the same thing happen to another diner in the queue during that time. Waitstaff walked away while we were trying to ask questions about the menu multiple times (and missed an extra order as a result). Still an excellent experience though!

I enjoy the food at Brig’s, but the customer service could use some work. I’ve had two bad experiences recently, the first being that I went to pick up my order for curbside and no one ever came to serve me. Why have the signs up for curbside if there’s no curbside service? My second issue is that there’s a sign to wait at the door to be served but no one ever came up. I opened the door to simply ask about the wait and the older lady with glasses dismissed me and did not answer my question. I try to be patient with people considering that we’re in a pandemic and the restaurants are short staffed, but the way I was treated was absolutely unacceptable.

The food is great no denying that. But the ordering process is a joke. They would have more business if they tried this miraculous thing called "answering the phone". Sad

Had to visit the area to take care of some business. Drove an hour out and wanted some good breakfast. I visited two places and didn’t like the menu so I came here.great decision.customer service was great! Food is great! Only thing I had to do was have the cook make my Turkey sausage well done! Will come back!

Oh and the juice is awesome! Taste homemade. I ordered cran apple

Loved the Aspen Omelette and home fries great attention to detail. When even the toast is delicious, you are doing it right, way to go.

The food here was great. The waffle was phenomenal. The only qualm was the disrespect to the waffle by pairing it with frozen tenders and calling it chicken and waffles. The omelettes were a hit too

As I sit outside waiting for my incorrect order to be fixed after 3 other people to get their order, I realize I’m not a fan.

It's ok. Don't know why the high reviews. IHOP better. No turkey bacon or different syrups. Asked for grape jam got jelly.jelly has pork! Jam doesn't! So waitress been around 20years not know this? Anyway.

I had the works omelette and it was fantastic - sincerely one of the best i have had - also our sever Sharon was on top of her game

Great place to eat, clean and great service.but I can't fully appreciate the plate i choose. "The Ultimate Omelette" the flavors didn't blend together so my plate flavor fell flat. The other plate of "The Hidalgo Omelette" also fail to impress me.it was ok. Hopefully my review helps before you get to excited to eat here instead of another place.its great decent.

Update: tried to place an order over the phone and was told they have to swipe a card and do not allow for cards to be typed in.
I’ve been here so many time and I’ve always typed in my card number — so I have no clue why all of a sudden I can’t get food. I won’t be back.

Absolutely delicious food. It’s only been slightly off one time bc of a mistake with the pancake batter. Pancakes literally taste like a cake from the bakery. Can’t beat it!

Let me start off by saying that my family and I have been loyal customers for years now. Actually my husband would have company brunches at this location. You only get the one star for being open during a pandemic. The pick up service has steadily declined. I am allergic to pineapple which I emphasized on my call in order and still thankfully I found the pineapple in my fruit before I ate it. The new woman that is taking the pickup order calls is terrible. I had to repeat each order Atleast 3 times. Therefore I could only eat part of my meal. I have received a gift card and an apology from the manager previously but that’s not enough. IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE! You apologize but what has been implemented to fix it? !? ! We as customers take that risk to still give our business right now but if you can’t be trusted to properly take an order I CRINGE AT what the sanitation looks like. I used to eat here every day but now possibly once every couple of weeks. Every time is a disappointment. I am a diabetic and I always ask how long before the pick up and they have quoted me 15/20 mins multiple times and multiple times including today I have been outside with my blinkers on and even called the store for over 45 mins. I didn’t choose to give a tip today because of the awful service and the associate, black female with glasses never thanked me and chose to have an awful attitude. Mind you I am a black female so there is not discrimination involved. LETS BE CLEAR! IF I decide to eat from here again I will definitely expect 15 mins as an hour for the wait and expect terrible customer service via curbside pickup which is so important nowadays considering COVID-19. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed. I chose to make this post after REPEATED accounts of awful service.

First visit for brunch with our son. Excellent French toast with enough to take some home. An extensive breakfast menu, good service, and the food was served hot as it should be. Conveniently located near RTP, it makes for a central spot meeting spot between a Raleigh and Durham. We’ll be back.

Me and my family stopped in for a late breakfast/brunch before hitting the road back home. Because it is Lent, we couldn't really enjoy traditional breakfast proteins like bacon, sausage, etc.so my children chose Waffles which were decent and my mother and I chose eggs. My mother selected the Omelette breakfast with vegetable fillings. It was cooked well but totally tasteless but I should have been so lucky. I chose the Seafood Scramble breakfast. Yes, I know.adventurous but I had heard good things from someone local so I expected better execution. The seafood was tasteless and overcooked. The fruit side was 4 slices of dried out fruit but let's get back to the main attraction: the Seafood Scramble. It was also served with a side of Hollandaise. The Hollandaise was the consistency of gravy but more aptly, clabbered milk. The taste was nothing short of unique; not in a good way. It reminded me of a seafood gravy with a hint of sugar. Per the menu, this was a special Hollandaise for the dish so I asked for the regular version but was told by our lack-luster server that was the regular version.my goodness.sorry as the taste just revisited my palette! Needless to say, we did not complain, we left the food, paid and vowed to eat fast food the next time we get a hankering for brunch in Durham.

We had a very large group on a Sunday morning, but it didnt take long to get tables put together, even though it was so busy. Food was fantastic and there's a nice variety without being overwhelming.
Servers were very attentive and it was clean.

I went here on 2/9 for Sunday brunch. Now that was a mistake. Following is the timeline of my time spent here:
11.02 AM - The steward put my name down for a table and told me the wait time was 20 mins.
11.32 AM - We're finally ushered to our table.
11.43 AM - The Server comes and takes our order.
11.57 AM - Our food is finally served.

Overall time from the moment we requested a table till the food went in my stomach: 55mins. During this time I could have gone to the grocery, bought the ingredients, come home and cooked a Salisbury Steak in Mushroom gravy.

Now imagine coming here already hungry like you would be if you were going for brunch. Yeah. See the picture of the waiting area.

Food was average. It wasn't bad but it wasn't something to write home about, it certainly wasn't something I would go back there and suffer the waiting time for. Also, I got the Jambalaya and the portion was smaller than I was used to.

Suffice to say I will not be returning to this place.
