Yaya Tea GRAND

The service has always been spot on but today was the worst in my opinion. I entered & there was nobody at the register which is totally understandable but when they arrived, i was not even greeted. They told me they are currently not accepting cash payments which was ok. I then was waiting for my riceball & the person called me *they didnt take my name down right* & i was going to grab it, they dropped the bag on the table which was overall rude.the food and drinks are good which is why this is my go-to spot.

Shrimp tempura and yaya chicken rice ball has my heart. Warm and quick bite. Not really enough space to dine in if you have a large group. 4-5 chairs to sit for a few minutes

Every time I'm in the neighborhood I have to stop here for a boyfriend tea and a Yaya chicken onigiri

Looking for a cheap place to buy onigiris from and this place is definitely it. You can also buy boba teas and other drinks as well as plates like yakisoba

I ordered Yaya Chicken Onigiri and Shrimp Tempura Onigiri with Jasmine Milk Tea.
They tasted delicious, though I had trouble poking the straw through the cover without spilling. Although, the delivery cost was a little expensive.

I will order from them again to try the other Onigiris they have. =^^=

I have been ordering from Yaya in Newark for over a year and I love all Yaya's. I always get tea and rice balls. Anything I order I am satisfied with.

I Love Yaya drink was great. Love the Takoyaki and Yaya Riceball. However there is minimal seating. Cheaper to order with cashier than the Kiosk machine

Nice place. I enjoy the Hulk tea with mango jelly stars. I went with the chicken rice ball. Quality flavors and items. The Spicy craydad was also a nice change of pace.

Just wasted $7 on a tea latte that tastes gross + burned my tongue and lips on it when the cashier asked me to “taste it” & forgot to mention how scolding hot it was.
FYI, as a tea place you should know that tea should never be that scolding hot.

Most of the drinks are watery! From fruity drinks to milk drinks are very watery. The Taro was the most watery and I believe the Boyfriend drink, you might as well as for bottle water. Try Sweet House Drinks and Deserts that's my favorite places drinks are quality, not watery and most of all delicious!

Cute little Chinese tea spot. Friendly service. Tea is also good. They got some snack, food options too. Small tea for $4 and big one for $5. Credit card minimum for $5.

They have a Excellent source of food. The only problem is how they treated there customer. Depending upon who you were. That determined how they received you as a customer. They shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Equal rights is how people should be treated. Do unto others as you want done unto you. Treat people the same way you would want to be treated.

It is a very terrible experience to order food from here,
They close at 8: 00 pm, and I was called in at 7: 30, the lady tell me to hold for one minutes, I was on the phone waiting for 15mins, and she cut off, I call again, she is telling me that who is take your order, and tell me that is the kitchen is close! Than hung up the phone, What? And she is so so rude! What ever they food how it taste, I don’t come back any more!

Always kind of packed but it's okay yk you can definitely get better boba & the onigiri stands out especially the yaya chicken

I love their menu of bubble tea - the flavors and the cutesy names. Also their onigiri are the tastiest especially the one called Japanese. It has crab meat, egg and seaweed. They also have shelves of snacks and sweets.

It is sad how disorganized on how guest are handled. I ordered 2 large taro milk tea and a pork gyoza on 1/12 around 6 pm.the total came out to $18.27. I called around 7: 30pm and spoke to a gentleman and said that I only received 1/2 order and I was missing my appetizer.by the time I make it back to yaya, you will be close.he told me that he will leave a note under name "jack" so I be able to pick it up the next days. I understand that there was a protocol call on this matter.but I felt that they didn't believe me even after the fact I show the yaya charges over the phone from my bank app. I am never coming back again. You can have the free money for the appetizer that I never received.

Love their drinks specially their boba? Quick service.

The riceballs were very tasty, they came out really fast despite me getting a bag of them. The boba tea tasted great. I got the ILoveYaYa. Place looks amazing and overall I had a great experience

Got the salmon and yaya chicken onigiri. Not impressed. The salmon lacked flavor. The chicken was flavored enough, but on the dry end. And whoever wrapped these onigiri up didn’t do it right. I’ve unwrapped these things so many times and never had any issue with it until this time. As I was unwrapping the second part, the onigiri was already falling apart. The drinks are tasty. However, they were pretty cheap on the filling (boba, grass jelly, or what have you). Not returning.

Their teas and boba are very mediocre if not just bad. I always get 30% (25% at YAYA) sugar and their tea is so bland that it barely tastes like anything. Their boba is also way too chewy and boarder line hard. Do not recommend getting any drinks from them. Their food on the other hand is pretty decent.the takoyaki’s portion size is small and thus a little overpriced. Their onigiri is pretty good though.

I can’t say anything bad about this place. My kids drag me here frequently and they like returning. I have never been disappointed.

Yummy rice rolls aka onigiris aka fantuan. The spam one is kinda lame and didn't taste like spam and there wasn't a lot anyways. Chicken one was great.

Great crispy non-soggy revolutionary seaweed packaging. Drinks were pretty fruity and sweet and the mango stars are cool.

Cashier was really patient and friendly.

I got jasmine milk tea and a plum rice ball. The milk tea was good but the flavor isn't as strong as some other places. The rice ball was extremely salty and I had to take out all the filling to be able to eat it. The staff were all super nice!

Beautiful place and good food but the teen taking my order (has hoops) is very disrespectful.she woke up on the wrong side of the bed because i came in with respect and all she did was give attitude and asked me what i wanted rudely.please rehire!
