Wedding Atelier

I cannot begin to express how unbelievable Martuly Louis is and how much I enjoyed looking for my wedding dress with her. She is kind, funny, incredibly perceptive, and deeply patient. Martuly instantaneously understood my inarticulate babble about what I was looking for and every dress she pulled was 100% my style. For someone who has a lot of anxiety about wedding dress shopping and weddings in general, Martuly immediately got our group's vibe and our sense of humor and honestly she felt like a friend by the end of the appointment. She has a clear point of view but was NEVER remotely pushy and was incredibly patient with me-even when I gave her conflicting information. I cannot imagine having my first bridal appointment with anyone else and feel so lucky to have stumbled into Wedding Atelier. (Shout out to Jenna who was also amazing and had a fantastic eye as well!)

To say that I was disappointed with Wedding Atelier is an understatement. Prior to the appointment, I fell in love with a dress that was posted to their Instagram. I reached out beforehand to confirm it would be available to try on during my appointment; however, I was told that it would not arrive for at least another month. While I understand this may be out of their control, I think it is a poor user experience, especially as there is a fee associated with each individual bridal appointment. Ultimately, the factor that is driving my rating was the appointment experience itself. The consultant I was paired with could not have been less helpful during my time in the salon. I am still early on in my dress shopping experience and therefore still trying to determine what style dress I am looking to purchase; however, I did give her a lot of details based on my previous appointments as a jumping off point prior to her beginning to pull dresses. After trying on the first few, many of which I personally suggested after looking through their website and social, I wasn’t finding much I loved. I had said I was open to trying something different, but she ultimately shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing else she could bring me to try. Her energy throughout the appointment was low, her attitude very standoffish, and myself and my whole group got the impression that she would rather be anywhere else but there. It definitely put a damper on the first appointment of the day as we left very frustrated and disappointed from what was promised as a top tier wedding dress shopping experience.

My stylist, Aggie, gave me the most wonderful experience. She found gowns even more beautiful than what I had seen online, was so genuine in her happiness for me and truly committed to giving me and amazing time. The place is great and the dresses they have are gorgeous! Definitely go. And ask for Aggie, she’s the best.

So happy I found my dress at Wedding Atelier! I came to try on a beautiful Allison Webb and Chloe was amazing with helping me pick my dress! She was so helpful, made me feel beautiful and truly felt like we had know each other for years! She made making this big decision so easy for me! Can’t wait to wear my dress in a year!

Shopping for a wedding gown with Chloe was one of the best experiences ever! Firstly, the inventory at Wedding Atelier is stunning and spans across a very reasonable price range, and the environment in general is truly a "bride experience" that is so special. The shop is clean, organized, and feels personal as you try on options. Chloe saw my "vision" quickly and brought me dresses that were right in line with what I wanted. I found my dress in my first visit and I couldn't be happier with the outcome overall! Highly recommend Chloe!

I can't say enough kind things about my experience at Wedding Atelier and it is all thanks to my fabulous attendant, Chloe. Chloe really listened to what I was looking for and nailed it, only bringing dresses that matched what I was looking for. In other salons there may have been one or two dresses that matched my style, but at Wedding Atelier there were dozens. Chloe also did an amazing job listening to my concerns about a dress and coming up with multiple tailoring solutions that they could easily implement. I can't say enough about the entire team there and would recommend anyone shopping for wedding dresses in NYC put Wedding Atelier at the top of their list of dress shops.

Found my dress working with Martuly and she got my vision on the very first dress that she put me in! I had gone to a few bridal salons at that point and had not seen a dress like this before. She was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with! The space is also very beautiful, clean, and had great lighting.

You're missing out if you don't shop at Wedding Atelier! I had the most incredible experience, all thanks to the amazing bridal consultant, Alisa. As an indecisive bride, I needed someone patient and kind and Alisa was just that. She never rushed me even when I tried on more dresses than I can count. Alisa knew the ins and outs of all the designers and dresses and she helped me pinpoint the exact style I was looking for. She really took the time to listen to me and understand my preferences. Trust me. She will guide you to 'the one'!

What sets Alisa apart is her efficiency. She brought me the best selection of stunning dresses so quickly throughout the entire appointment. Bridal consultants at other stores that I’ve encountered took around 5 or even up to 10 minutes to bring me the gowns. Alisa took SECONDS and it was such a time-saver. She was also very responsive over email and was always available to answer questions and provide guidance.

Plus, as an introverted bride, I absolutely LOVED that she didn't bombard me with small talk during the appointment. This helped me focus on the dresses more and made the experience even more enjoyable. However, I have no doubt that if you're an extroverted bride who loves to chat, Alisa would be just as engaging. She is the sweetest person ever.

The store itself is a gem. It’s clean, organized, and even the bathroom is nice! In a nutshell, Alisa is the best bridal consultant I've met (and I've met many). I can't recommend her and this store enough. Thank you, Alisa, for making this journey at Wedding Atelier so fantastic!

Some brides don't know what they want when going to look at dresses, but I knew exactly what I was looking for and Jenna connected with me from the start. The first dress she pulled was the one! Jenna helped put together my whole look from veil to jewelry to which sneakers I should change into. Thank you Jenna for making me feel confident and beautiful on our wedding day

Alisa was super nice, very patient, and great at listening to my preferences and finding dresses that fit my ideal dress!

The best experience with Chloe! She was so supportive and helpful, and picked out the best dresses. 10/10 experience and likely going to get a dress from here!

I cannot say enough good things about wedding atlier and Aggie. She is the best she really knows her stuff and what looks good on people and listens to the brides preferences. Extremely helpful and always accommodating. I am so grateful I am working with her!

I had the most wonderful experience dress shopping at Wedding Atelier. Alisa, my stylist, listened to what I wanted, looked at pictures of other dresses from other stores I was considering, and put me in styles that superseded anything else I had tried on! She brought expertise, great energy, and warmth and friendliness that made the experience so memorable, fun, and stress free. I couldn’t be happier with the dress and veil I purchased, and got a 10% discount for buying the day off! Highly recommend this store for all brides!

I worked with Alisa who was amazing with helping me find my dream wedding dress! She was patient with me and really listened when I talked about the kind of dress I wanted for my big day and how I wanted it to look. I would recommend her and this shop to any of my friends and family

GO SEE JENNA! I went to 5 bridal shops and this was by far my best experience. Jenna took time to get to know me & what I wanted, she had amazing recommendations, she really listened to what I said and she made MAGIC happen. I went to Wedding Atelier to try on a specific gown and it ended up being too much dress for me. Without missing a beat, Jenna picked out another one which was spot on, had beautiful details and material and I loved it! I'm super anxious though and didn't want to make a decision too fast. Jenna was so accommodating - she encouraged us to walk around for an hour to think on it and come back. She is so supportive and kind through the whole process - she truly went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I wanted in a wedding dress! Getting a wedding dress can be a really BIG decision, but partnering with Jenna made it so much easier. I am so grateful - THANK YOU JENNA!

Had such a lovely experience at Wedding Atelier! Jenna could not have been better! She was so kind, accommodating and pulled the most beautiful dresses. I went after work not feeling my best and she really was so wonderful and made our shopping experience amazing! I found a beautiful dress and could not be happier!

I just wasted my time. The dresses that they suggested was so dirty, old style. I said what is it for homeless? I was so disappointed and wasted my time. I pick a dress that I liked they said it’s not on sale you have to wait from 6 to 9 months. I said my wedding after one month, do you have something nice that I can get in a few weeks they said no alteration. The dress was so simple nothing crazy but they said it’s 4 thousand without taxes. I regret going there so disappointed. This one no that dress no everything no. They kind of discriminated me they were good too rich girls I was simple and they didn’t pay attention normally

Wonderful experience with my stylist, Aggie. It was my first time, so I was indecisive and unable to articulate what I wanted, yet Aggie was still able to pick up our reactions and had a balance of variety vs narrowing down to dresses with specific elements that I really liked. She is personable, supportive, and so wonderful. Despite a healthy budget, she actually picked out dresses based on my style/reactions and not the price - I could see it in the pricing of my top choices, so it feels good that they weren't just trying to chase after my budget. The shop had so many rows full of gowns, I wish I had the time and luxury to try them all! Highly recommend this place.

They don't let you look at the dresses yourself, which was a letdown since I really enjoyed being able to peruse dresses at all my other appointments, but some people might prefer this format. Unfortunately my stylist seemed to be in a huge rush - she was extremely impatient - and the dress portion was 25 minutes. She told me to go home because I seemed tired. This was by far the biggest let down appointment I had of several. All other studios made it a happy, exciting experience and went above and beyond to try to find a dress I loved. Hopefully my experience here was just because of one stylist because they do carry beautiful dresses by some great designers.

I loved my experience here! I've been to many bridal shops in NYC and this was the best so far. If you are looking for classic and elegant styles, they have the right dresses in store. My bridal consultant, Jenna, was wonderful. She knew exactly what kind of style I wanted and was super helpful in many ways. I'd recommend her if you come visit!
