Better than any other place I’ve been to my skin feels good and soft and I was given hot coco afterwards! Definitely coming here from now on

Bikini waxing, eyebrow waxing and eyebrow tinting done by Christina. I am always extremely satisfied with the results. Christina is professional, kind, and an expert cerologist! This business is immaculate!

The whole experience from the moment I walk in until I leave is great! The front desk staff are always friendly and welcoming and the cerologists are just the best! The products are always very high quality and appropriate for my needs. I highly recommend!

My first experience was for Brazilian and my second experience was for my underarms. Both appointments went great! Both Amy and Daniel were extremely gentle and understanding of my frustration when it comes to pain.

What an experience. Walked in and was greeted warmly. My waxer, Jenn, retrieved me promptly from the waiting area with a big welcoming smile. I was a little nervous at first but she immediately put me at ease as she explained in great detail all the steps she was taking throughout the whole process. After my service was completed she recommended several products I should use for after care/preventative care. They all seem to genuinely care about their clients having the best experience possible and it shows through the level of professionalism shown. Great Job, Will definitely be back

I was at waxing the city just recently.they are the epitome of professional and cordial. The front desk person was friendly and helpful as always. My cerologist Jenn was friendly and very welcoming. Her services were painless and quick. I barely experienced any pain or uncomfortable feelings. She kept me engaged in friendly conversations which made the appointment enjoyable amd stimulating. I highly recommend waxing the city and the entire staff for any waxing needs.

I've been to Waxing & the City for several years now. Do they not teach people customer service anymore? The receptionist never greeted me or offered my water like they have done in the past. The clinician Jenn was adequate; she did the job that needed to be done, but not a hair (pun intended) more than that. Never once did Jenn ask me how I was or anything. She was totally silent during the procedure. I tried to engage in conversation, but she was not really forthcoming. I would have liked a little more warmth and conversation from her. Again, she did the job, but it was just okay. If she did a fantastic job, then I wouldn't have minded her being silent, but since she just did okay, I would have liked at least someone who could carry on a basic conversation and at least pretend to care about her client. This was probably the worst eyebrow wax and eyelash tint I've had, I'm sorry to say. I will use Waxing and the City again, but not with her.

DO NOT sign up for orange club. I was a loyal customer for years so after they closed the closest store to me, I reluctantly followed them to Garden City, almost a one hour drive, because I liked the woman doing my waxing. When she left them in August, I chose to leave the club and advised them that. They told me I had to submit a form which they now claim they did not receive and have billed me for September and October. They now say they never received the form, and because of 30 day notice, will probably bill me in November. I haven’t been there in almost 3 months and they know it. Apparently their rules go counter to anyone’s concept of customer service and loyalty. AVOID!

Horrible online booking service! I gave two stars because at least the receptionist called ahead of time to let me know the time I booked was actually unavailable and offered to reschedule. I didn't reschedule because I don't live in Long Island and I'm not willing to travel out there if I'm not going to be in the area. It may be so sudden to book an appointment the same day, but their online system showed an available time. Be careful when you book online if you really want to go to this place. It was going to be my first time, but it looks like I won't be going at all since their available times were deceiving.

My first experience with waxing the City was amazing! Apolonia was so good with me, she explained every step she performed. My skin was so soft. My first time waxing and I am a customer for life.

I was so happy to find the Garden City location after the Woodbury location closed. It's not only close to work & home but I met Angel. She was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable through the entire process. The receptionist was also very friendly! I love the atmosphere here!

AMAZING! I’ve been coming here since they opened. I just went and met Kristin and she was fantastic! So sweet and guided me through the whole process and aftercare. I always trust the product recommendations when checking out.they always seem to be quality items and I like using them!

I’ve tried a lot of waxing places in my lifetime before, specifically for eyebrows (Uni K Wax, European Wax Center, nail salons, etc) and I was never a satisfied client. I felt rushed and never happy with the job. Waxing the City exceeded my expectations; especially for the pandemic world we live in today. The place is so clean that you could eat off the floors. Katherine was my specialist. She was impeccably professional and kind. I really love that she took her time and explained how she would do the wax.

My one complaint about this place is they were pushy with me to use their membership services and shelf products. This isn’t a big deal but it came across as money hungry.

Overall, excellent place to go! I will definitely be going back.

You get what you pay for here. The moment you walk in, you know you are getting quality. The front desk is excellent. Katherine, who implemented my service was great. Extremely clean and Covid-19 responsible.

Treat loyal customers terrible on my last two occasions with them. Won’t be giving them another shot. Staff needs to do better period

1 star to the corporation and website, booked online, got confirmation and went to Garden City location it was closed! Need to update info and not allow appointments. Telephone number is disconnected!
on site showed that it was open for business! Services and staff are great, always pleasant. Corporation needs to get on top of things. Even through a pandemic. Smaller places got act together compared to this Corporation.

Great place for personal care. Staff is always pleasant and professional. They are sincerely interested in your comfort. I have been to many other salons and this is the best by far.

I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE. The staff is always so welcoming. They always assist me with questions about products and services. They helped me get the bang for my buck with the monthly program they offer. Now for the service portion of the business, oh my goodness! Go to Christina! She will make you so comfortable when you’re getting waxed (especially with the tender bits!). I love this place and highly recommend it!

Great overall service. Friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable front counter staff. Ashley was respectful and patient when fixing my eyebrows. I would definitely recommend this place.
