Shelves were half stocked, lots of missing items. Poor customer service in the electronics department today as well. Not to mention a 10 minute wait in my checkout line.
My cat food was cheaper-Blue Buffalo so I was happy about that. Got I and got out thru garden center. Also bought my favorite flea spray -works on flies just to let you know and smells great.
This Walmart is so much better then my local Walmart in Sayre pa.always stocked shelves, clean, and clearance in every section. Not just one isle! I'll make it a point to go to the Ithica Walmart over Sayre any day.
I am always disappointed when I shop here they are very regularly out of an item that I went in for. If you're lucky enough to find an employee in the store the likelihood that you are going to get a nasty look, and exasperated sigh, an eye roll, or completely ignored is extremely high. There are never cashiers open the self checkout is a disaster they have one employee trying to keep an eye on 10 or more registers at one time. Obviously when there is a long wait or a customer has a question and the one employee working at the self checkout has been called to another customer it is frustrating and people get rude as well as employees. When they did the remodel of the store I would say that the store went from a four-star to a one star and I would give anything to have Kmart back. If you go towards closing time you will see an employee in almost every aisle stocking shelves and the things that you over here are absolutely disgusting and you're still ignored almost even more ignored than when there are less employees in the store. Now I am going to tell you that there have been four employees that have always gone out of their way to help me if I have a question. Two Men and two women if you're lucky enough to get any of those four then your experience will go from a one to a four. Sadly though that likelihood is slim to none anymore
The store is clean and well stocked. I only put three stars because they have no cashiers. I'm more expected to check myself out without any discount on the items I bought.
This is a huge Walmart, they have everything you need for decent prices. They have a huge grocery area and shelves full of vitamins. This is where I prefer to do my grocery shopping. They also have many new self checkout stations that are helpful in a hurry. Before the self checkouts were added, there were only a few cashiers and the lines were all extremely long.
Since the start of the pandemic, this has been my go to for groceries. Pick up is free and the grocery price isn't as inflated as instacart. Shoppers do a nice job picking out perishable items. Attendants are cheerful, friendly and masked.
I know Walmart won’t go of business because of me but after our trip here yestedsy I told my wife do everything u. An to not spend money at Walmart. Walmart seriously is a terrible place that has zero service. It’s basically like “we’re Walmart, you need us we don’t care about you, just pay and go you little consumer”
Ithaca walmart has the worst workers of any walmart we've ever visited, half of them won't help you find something and the others are just plain rude, there are a few that really are great at helping out but most are just lazy and don't wanna go out of their way to do anything they don't have to.
The problem I have with em is covid compliance. Noone cleans the top of the sanitizer bottle and I've seen how the cleaners rush through it but once I saw a guy do nothing but wipe down the conveyor for 5 min then he went and did something else. Not cleaning the station entirely.
Walmart is Walmart, so why can't they put the stuff in the same place every other Walmart does. Just cause they are in hippy-dippy Ithaca they need to reinvent the layout? I'm really annoyed by the layout.
Most employees are rude and can never find what I need half the time but I do enjoy chatting with the few good hearted and hard working employees there that know me.they are the best and do their best I tell them all the time
The store itself was disgusting. It looked like the day after a black Friday sale. We had an issue with a gift card and ended up paying for our purchase with cash because no manager was in the store at the time while being rudely told they were understaffed. But there was an Assistant Manager on the floor who clearly was more concerned about his phone then actually doing his job. No apologies, all we received was a refund for our giftcard the day after the incident after we made the initiative to follow up on this terrible customer service. That being said we will not shop there ever again. Awful experience. If I could give zero stars I would.
Huge store. Walmart Supercenter is a real super center. If you won’t find here what you need you need to look better. Prices are bellow any other store in the area. Long lines that kind of time consumers.
Apparently no one at Walmart is in charge of enforcing the local mask mandates. I would at least expect the employees to adhere, but management doesn't seem to give a damn.
