I just saw a news story about Walmart and their self check outs and people being arrested for miss scanning one item by mistake. I never use self check outs just for that stupid reason. And now the real problem. They are talking about going all self check outs and if that happens I will not use their store ever again

Waited for over half an hour to get an ink cartridge out of the locked cabinet with 5 employees just standing around talking and a manager making sure they all knew what their schedule was like for the rest of the week.you are there to help customers not socialize.

While the photo center had closed a bit ago,

Many offers on clothes and more and everything organized. Not like in NEW YORK. Where people have no education and leave things lying around and when they are with children they let them pick up every toy and throw it away.

Gross bunch of unshowered cortland slugs dragging themselves around. Be prepared for a sensory assault of smells, children screaming, and just generally rude people. Literally some of the worst "people of walmart" in existence. Avoid at all costs. When college is in session, nothing is ever in stock. 10/10 don't recommend.

Grocery pick up! Absolutely shameful! First my order was delayed but no notification until the exact time for pick up! I was already here. Then secondz later I get a notification that HALF my order was not available. No substitutions made. I have worked grocery order pick up and know for sure that orders are picked HOURS before pick up times. This is ridiculous. I don't do these pick ups often only when I'm crunches for time but clearly that I could have done all this myself and been done. I have been on my car waiting 20 mins for them to bring my order out to my car and now have to stop somewhere else to get what walmart was supposedly out of. Ohhh and did I mention this isnthe second time in a week I've been through this exact experience

Was able to find everything I needed as usual with this Walmart. They have a very good selection and keep they're shelves mostly stocked.

All good tonight, it's walmart, make the best of it, had everything I wanted, And a few extras.

Honestly one of the worst Walmarts in the area, go to Vestal instead. Their selection of pretty much everything here is so limited.

Apparently the Walton's want a yacht for each family member and ride on the space shuttle or their prices wouldn't have skyrocketed in one year. Just another Billionaire family extorting from the lower/middle class. Please stop buying anything but necessities until prices become reasonable again! Especially eggs. There are plenty of alternatives.

Very bad experience this is the second time they failed to deliver my order and after waiting long hours I cancelled the order

I do NOT recommend the delivery service. Put in an order for express delivery is is now late. I ordered a cake and gift for his birthday. I also tried to call the store and no one picks up. This is not good customer service.

I don't understand why Walmart has so few checkout lines open. This Walmart had 24 check out lines, and only one was open. The self checkouts were all open, but only one check out line with a cashier at 4: 00 p.m.

By far best store IN THE WORLD. I just want to thank all the employees for truly making me feels at home. As soon as I opened the automatic doors I knew this would be on of the best experiences of my life, even though I tripped over a rug and broke my wrist it didn’t stop me from having one of the best days of my life. Even though it took ten minutes to get an employee attention, once they came they were very comforting and helpful. Now I don’t recall the whole story because I blacked out in awe the parts I do remember were truly astonishing. Pre pandemic I use to shop regularly at this store. Now I only shop here when convenient or necessary. Most visits end in frustration by not finding regular inventory items because of very poor inventory management. Many of the items I use to purchase here I now buy on Amazon Prime. For months they have not even been able to keep paper bags in stock. Very few cashiers are at the registers forcing people to use self checkout and wait in long lines. I no longer feel good about walking into Walmart. Shopping here has become stressful.

The security guards here are uneducated. I bought a vacuum online and when I went to pick it up I was grabbed on my way out and accused of stealing. I quickly showed my receipt and they backed off with no apology. In NYS security guards are legally allowed to observe and report not go hands on with someone from behind while they are leisurley exiting a business.

This store is not what used to be everything is a mess people with no disability using the electric cars when someone who really need it is waiting and no one do anything also there’s people disrespecting employees and costumer is a crazy circus this store need better management to go back to what it used to be and if they have security at the store they need to have someone who be available to see for the need of costumer at target they don’t let anyone who is not disable to used any equipment for disable people and they watch people behaving at the store not allowing any disrespectful attitude

Im so devastated! I don’t have the money to keep buying groceries that go to waste. I just bought this today. It says it doesn’t expire until 09/12/22. How is there mold on it already?

Ectronics department would would rather stand around and gossip then actually work & help customers

Every trip there they are out of something. Make multiple trips to store. Hit or miss shopping center.

Every time I go there NO handy cap carts. You are a multi million dollar company you only have about six carts and half are broken and can't be used. And yet there are about 25 handy cap parking places. I really hope that you or any anyone gets handy caped. But it would be great to be able to go there and shop.
The last five times I had to leave no carts were available.

Milks is way cheaper in NY at Walmart. They are pretty stocked with items on the shelves. Plenty of parking.

Sad to say this Walmart has lacked cleanliness over the years.
Decades of shopping here and unfortunatly I wont be back.

Helpful workers, but the rude customers made this an unpleasant visit, so I walked out without buying anything. One customer coughed and hacked so hard I thought she needed help, but without wearing a mask, she told me to go f myself for trying to help.
I don't know how you can screen customers, but it would help. I think making customers wear masks would have kept most of the ride customers away.

Of course Walmart gets 5 's but it's a lil behind. My mom is elder and haves a walking problem and she went to get a shoppers cart and non of them where charged but 1 that had a lil charge. Me and my sister just plugged them in and shopped.

I'm giving this place an extra star. The service is good, selection good, never had an issue with rotten food or moldy veggies/fruit. The only issue I have with this place doesn't even have to do with the store itself. Most people come here 'unmasked. ' I find that amazing considering Broome Co cases are rising

I love that this Walmart has grocery pick up and more things in stock than my local PA Walmart BUT.the wait for the pick up is insane! Way too long. My husband had to wait almost an hour and felt so foolish. At that point we could've just shopped ourselves. I do if for the convenience of it with young kids. But that was crazy long!

While you can get just about anything. I had to go elsewhere to get creamed corn. The choice of brands available is not to good.

Quick and easy in out. Only thing I don't like is hardly no cashier. I had to scan items. I guess you can say am an employee.

Many shelves were bare. Stood at the paint desk for 15 minutes waiting for help, had 2 employees tell us they would get us help and noone came.

An average Walmart. Picked pretty clean of shoes and clothes for average-sized people today (though far better than Target down the road)

I ordered vitamins, they first sent it, then canceled on the way because "they were damaged, " then they started selling it again 3 times the price I had bought. On the shipment receipt, the official status is "they are delivered". Customer service did not return my complaints, my reviews were not published online, so I leave a comment here.

Hopefully I will never go back here. Target's online delivery is much better and if you are careful, even prices can be advantageous.

I'm very disturbed about the self checkouts. I'm NOT getting PAID to do this. And there is a small amount of cashiers.
This store is in such disarray. Walmart needs to have those unused cashiers to clean and neatly arrange this store

Typical Walmart experience, although the shelves are bare in this store. Seems very popular, especially with the surge of college students right now.

I have been waiting in line at sporting goods for 20 minutes. There is no worker present. I have been here several other times to this sporting section and it seems to be a repetitive situation.

Usual trip to Walmart. Seems like the shelves aren't very well stocked and I couldn't buy what I really wanted, had to make do.

I recently applied for a job and the interviews were held until last Friday

I will never shop there again! They need more help, lines are too long!

Just go to Target or Aldis or something else. They refuse to give my my paycheck for my 15 minutes of work as a cashier/bagger, I don't remember signing up to be an employee, just needed groceries and all of a sudden I'm bagging and scanning everything I went around and picked out and then I didn't even get an employee discount or anything when did shopping become a job. And that is why I shop at Target. They bag things and I don't have to scan it myself. You pick your own store #capitalism

The store is great for the most part. They really need to keep better track of when they run out of items and they need to have more registers open around 1-3pm and open all do it yourself registers.

This Walmart has really gone down hill the last few years. Half of what I go in for is out of stock most times, you are lucky to get a shopping cart, and be prepared to either wait in a long line at checkout or use self checkout. My visits to this location went from several trips a week to maybe once a month over the last few years. I would rather pay a little more and go someplace else.

"Walmarts" prices of course are the best. Clean stores. Not enough Staff on Checkout.ever. Not stocked as well as in past months! In Some Stores they have low priced high quaility pet vaccinations shops: "VIQ". A downside is doesn't stock many items that other grocery Stores have had for years. Example: OS Cranberry 11.5 4 pack "Sparkling Cranberry" low sugar & tastes great. An adult drink. You should try it. Yum & Ahhh! 1

Terrible purchase a amp a month ago went to install it and it's no good.they told me it's past the 30 days to return it so now I'm stuck with a 100 amp that don't work.be careful people walmart is selling stuff that they are not telling u has a time frame to return on or is returnable buyer be wear do not purchase electronic anything from walmart. They are ripping people off.

They don't know how to answer there phone. Plus they never have enough registers open, they won't call anyone in or up to open up any other registers. Plus your prices are definitely not the lowest around.

I don't like shopping at Walmart during COVID-19, and especially during peak shopping hours. I have a 9 year old energetic boy, so that compounds my shopping apprehensions.
However, Walmart still provides the same level of services that you can expect under normal circumstances. The store is one of the busiest in the area and it was clean and stocked well. I was able to purchase everything on my list, manage my 9 year old, and be out of there in record time.

It's Walmart so it is what it is. It would be great if the self check out staff didn't treat everyone like they are going to be thieves. I travel with 3 small children and usually my husband - does not mean we are bandits but self check out is preferred so that I can organize as I scan and so that I don't have to have interaction during a pandemic with anyone unnecessarily. However, having someone stand almost immediately behind me while I'm scanning NOT cool! Prefer this Walmart in the area but also prefer to have people back the hell up a little.

Two days in a row I went to Walmart to get groceries and twice again there were no shopping carts to be found. Also, self checkout 60% of the time has no bags. I’m not grabbing a cart from outside because they haven’t been cleaned. It amazes me how Walmart used to be spot on since covid hit and now you’ve become very lazy. I say that because you lack customer care especially when it comes to those shopping carts and being clean. I saw a young guy yesterday sitting down in the cart area another gentleman was asking why are there no carts? The worker replied it’s up to management when I go get carts. Really? Poor management, lack of customer support and your store is losing money because without carts the public can’t purchase the multiple items they need. I’m shopping at Weis for now on. Idk if it cost more, at least they care about their customers. Your loss, not mine.

What happened? It's like every employee just stopped stocking the shelves! I wrote my name on a box 3 weeks ago in clothing and it's still there empty! I'm going to Target!

I was in the Vestal store last night at 6. There were no carts in the store to use. There were 2 workers and an unpleasant greeter talking at the door. I asked if they were brining carts in and was rudely told yes we only have 300. I asked how many people were in the store since the parking lot did not have a lot of cars in it. I was told 300. I had to go back to the parking lot to get a cart. When I got in the store, most of the shelves had very little on them. When I left about an hour later, the same nasty greeter and one of the workers were still talking and carts were still all in the parking lot. The service in that store is terrible.
