Walmart Supercenter

I love Walmart. The people who work at this Walmart are cool. But I think Walmart corporate needs to supply this Walmart with more current stuff. That said it is a pleasant shopping experience.

Was told no one has a key to the sportsman's desk and it had been missing for 2 days. I couldn't buy anything

The shelves were disheveled. The shelves are not marked with prices for products being sold. The place in Sullivan County is not so friendly.

It's a Walmart. Hard working local people doing the best they can! Crowded on paydays. Selling out of popular items ahead of holidays and seasonal use. Large affordable selection of gluten free foods, as well as dairy free, vegan and alternative foods.

You can find just about anything you need at reasonable prices lot's of clearance items at ridiculously low prices, Check out is ridiculous one register open 90% of the time and self checkout is usually all register's open but set to credit card only no cash slow process checking out ridiculously slow.

Absolutely hate Walmart. It's always crowded always understaffed. Even the self checkout Lanes are way too long. Parking is a nightmare, and when you do find help from an employee they either say not their department or have no clue on what they are doing. I try to avoid this place like the plague

Good cheap stuff but dang these employees need to help in electronics. I swear it's as if they hide on purpose smh

Unbelievably bad customer service, I went in to return a phone that I purchased online. I started the return online and chose the option to return the phone at a store. Once at th the store I had to endure an hour of nonsense and excuses untill the manager took care of the return. I suggest you do not use Walmart online or expect much from this store.

You all know this place. Full of Liw budget deals. Shopping all under one roof. Food. Electronics cloths glasses hair Pharmaceutical and now Dr. And nails

This store is way better in aspects to the monticello walmart and middletown walmart. This is a very clean and organized store. The staff is always ready to help with anything you are wondering. It is an all around great store and environment.

Store tends to stay on the tidy side. There is a cashier here who is extremely rude and I try to avoid her each time I go there. Otherwise produce is a hit or miss, but overall a clean store.

Don't know what's going on there, a third of the shelves are bare. Still has great prices and very convenient for us locals though.

This walmart was very overwhelming. It was at a peak shopping time Sunday and the lines were very long, the baby and home items were set directly next to the grocery section which isn't very appealing. The store setup needs some rearranging and different department placements ideally. However the cashier was very friendly.

Very poorly stocked. Absolutely no gallons of drinking water and very limited supply of canned cat food

Walmart is using the CHEAPEST paper bags! I never get home without a bag splitting down the side & tearing when I pick it up.no matter how careful I am. We are paying for these bags, please get better quality bags WITH handles. That said, great experience at the pharmacy, store is clean, but there were many areas that needed stocking.

The manager and his staff were very polite and asked me did I need any help and assisted me on the things I was looking for very knowledgeable

Have to go to a bigger Walmart to find what you are looking for most of the time. But I give it an ok because it's open later than Walgreens. Disappointed they aren't 24 hrs anymore.

I keep forgetting that Walmart sells only seasonal apparel. I guess nobody needs a hoody in July when it's 60 degrees during the day.

Very un-happy, I went to Walmart Napanoch to get shredded cheese, eggs and milk. Walk in the back by the coolers and they were empty along with the freezers and produce section. The deli was also shut down. This is about the 5th time that I have experienced this in a 5 month period. Just makes me want to drive past and go to Shop Rite.

Best walmart around. We drive over an hour to shop here instead of closer locations. It is cleaner and really well organized. Never looks a mess!

Only reason it didnt get 5 star is because some managers was telling an employee if he cant worktoday he cant be there in front of his girlfriend

I literally Love this Ellenville Walmart, it never Disappoints.well with the exception of the 1 make csm that usually works nights he's truly not the most pleasant! However there is 1 associate who's usually heading to her break by the time I arrive here after driving from Albany for 2 hours. She's always very helpful to me. Even though she's on her break. I want to say she works on the grocery or dairy side overnights. Never the less she's very nice/helpful I appreciate her more than she knows especially after driving for 2 hours & super tired just want to get in & out! I love it. Truly this Walmart is the exception to EVERY OTHER WALMART I've ever been in. The customer service is A1 even if it's late at night/ closer to 11pm or midnight very helpful.

Constantly out of even the most basic things, barely any clearance items, craptastic selection compared to other Walmart stores like Kingston, Napanoch, Monticello. Really disappointing given that this is the largest Walmart in the US.

It's always under stocked, plenty of employees but not many working just walking around and if you ask them for help, they just give you a blank stare or ignore you, or worst, are rude as a general rule. It seldomly has a cashier working, only the self-serving cash registers. Items are in piles everywhere from items people has abandoned (perhaps because of the long lines, or no pricing/incorrect pricing, and pallets of items that need to be put on shelves but aren't while employees are walking around texting or doing whatever on their phones.

So many Hasidic children without masks. Welcome back covid everyone! Greeters need to be telling them to put on their masks before more people get sick again!

I drive longer to this specific location. I find it quieter usually shelves are fuller. This time it was crowded and empty shelves.

Well stocked, well priced, friendly associates, convenient. Employees tell me they are well taken care of, what’s not to like?

Pleasant shopping experience today. Still don't understand the "bag it yourself" theory with paper bags that rip with three things in them. But the checkout clerk was friendly and not the grumps we usually get.

The store for its size has what you need in the moment and at the time. They have clothes for boys and girls- jr/teens Ns some adults clothing such as undershirts, button up shirts, tees, pj pants and more. They also have pj's for woman and teens. They have undergarments for various ages. They have a frozen food section, deli, various allies for non frozen/non perishables and more. There not like the super Walmart in kinhston but Walmart in ellenville has what you mostly need. It's a good store to go too and loca so you don't always have to drive to kingston when you just need to pick something quick up tou need.

As a daughter of a disabled mother (and trying to apply to be her future home aid), this Walmart doesn't keep up with having available motor carts for her. There's only two that may be available and I heard there are actually more than that (5-6) when she spoke to someone at the customer service desk.

Learn by example.

The Shoprite in Ellenville has this down, and is better at having their employees keep motor carts available for the disabled. You usually see them walk out and take the carts that are spread out over the parking lot. Sometimes they'll take it when you get out, almost immediately!

If this Walmart had its employees be aware and be active in the parking lot, maybe this issue would be resolved. This is pretty much the only gripe I have with this Walmart. Everything else is fine, but nothing too impressive from other stores.

On another note, I wish people in the parking lot, who own big trucks, would be a lot more considerate to people who have smaller cars. Sometimes my mother can't see who is coming out or around her, when people (including the disabled) have the huge trucks parked on both sides of her car.

PLEASE, TRUCK OWNERS, be aware and considerate for your fellow drivers around you. Do not assume they can see incoming pedestrians or drivers, just because you can.

I probably have a bias towards Walmart because they've bailed me out a bunch of times. But this has been my go-to spot for resupplying on road trips.

Filled a shopping cart with $150 of groceries, and proceeded to the checkout. Was third in line and was told that the register was closed! No other registers were open! Was forced to use the self checkout. Struggled with the self checkout while all my frozen food was defrosting. This was at 8: 30 pm on a Wednesday evening. Store is open until 10: 00.
No cashiers available at all! Was tempted to leave cart full of frozen food in the aisle and go home, but didn't. Horrible shopping experience.

I almost bought a jar of peanut butter that was over a year expired. Cashier found outdated coupon on it. And nite shift customer service guy wouldn't help me complete walmart.com purchase when walmart.com wanted to talk to him. I had email purchase confirmation. Was not a busy nite in store. Wasted 45min to go there.

Seem to always now be out of basic supplies. Very unfortunate because now I also have to go to ShopRite where the customer service is usually poor

I've always shop Walmart but lately it seems that the items that I'm going in for or not there and not being reordered to be restocked the shelves

This spot obviously knows how to please their customers. Constantly with a nice mindset. The food is affordably priced, regularly delightful and neat.

Always fully stocked with items I use daily plus have items that you may not be able to find other places. Can be a PITA waiting in lines to cash out. Overall I love Wal-Mart!

Giant clean store. Supercenter says it all. I didn't get groceries while I was there, but the food I saw looked fresh. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Closest walmart within an almost hour radius. Visit was overall good, found everything I needed, store was in decent shape.

Surely a spot worth trying, the food is awesome and well prepared, the prices are affordable and it is consistently well organized there. Great work.

I LIKE TO SHOP HERE WHEN I NEED TO PURCHASE LARGE ITEMS FOR THE MONTH. I LIKE THEIR PRICES ON FOOD AND CLOTHING. I BOUGHT MY LAPTOP HERE LIKE 5 YRS AGO. I STILL HAVE IT AND THE PRICE ON THIS SALE WAS ONE I COULDN'T RESIST. I ALWAYS BUY ON SALE. I LIKE THE STAFF AS WELL.

Very busy place, parking is difficult they. Lots of register close people waiting in line for too long.but the prices for items are great.

This is the cleanest Walmart store I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to too many to count. It’s not only clean it’s also orderly. This all speaks to management and shows if this Walmart can be maintained like this they all can.

Still out of most things.went to get a little toaster oven.have at least 5 on display non functioning, but absolutely not 1 available.no mens or kids swim suits.well.there are 4 or 5 triple XXX's, and self checkout.every one of them is for credit card only.no cash for any of them.all and all. I have loved this Walmart though.with that said. I still give it 4 stars.

Need to use the other 22 registers that are ALWAYS CLOSED.too long a wait getting out. Id rather pay as little more, for better customer service

What can you say it was Walmart, you can never find anyone to assist you and if you do they dont know so they will say I will go find someone to help you and that never happens! It is always one of my last choices for any kind of shopping!

Horrible customer service. Ordered a package online gave me a delivery day for a week which wasn't bad, the only problem is its been over 2 weeks and they still haven't received it and don't know where it is.when calling to ask about it the employees are very rude and even had one hang up on me because I asked for a manager.

I love having this store locally. Was there today & the staff was very helpful when I asked if they had more tofu in the back. I'm also happy that they're getting more vegan products available. A great store.
