Their phone service is the worst. I have been on hold on numerous occasions with them for prolonged periods of time and after waiting the phone rings and then disconnects. All I was trying to do is find out if a medication was in stock. Someone eventually did pick up said they had to transfer me to a different department and when that department picked up they said they were going to check and then proceeded to disconnect, again. They need a better system. If I could give a negative star review I would because they do not deserve the 1 star.

Every-time i get a acetaminophen prescription the pharmacy does there best not to fill it and advise me just to take over the counter Tylenol. Please Walgreen pharmacy Techs, stop misdirecting people and just fill the script. They always start off like this. "your insurance does not cover it" ok then i will pay for it. " well its over the counter Tylenol". If my Dr wanted me to take OTC Tylenol who would of advised me of that an not write a script. Walgreens you will always be 2nd place to cvs and I know why. Terrible customer service in that pharmacy. Your job is to take the order and process it, not to give advice.

The employees are good natured and helpful, but this place is sorely understaffed for the volume of customers they serve. Walgreens and CVS wipe out local pharmacies and leave us with no choice but to deal with over worked (and probably underpaid) employees, long lines, and frequently out of stock meds. This is 2023, why can’t someone do better?

Kept me waiting 20 minutes for prescription. When I went to the counter was told my prescription not ready and should wait another 20 minutes.

The worst store in Long Island. I will rather drive a few towns over than ever shop there EVER. Employees are extremely rude and incompetent. I am not sure how’s this place still in business.
The worst this is the advertised price never comes up at the register and they intentionally over charging people. With some many businesses closing their doors, I really wish this store will go away

Recently moved from Westhampton to Babylon. The Walgreens in Westhampton and riverhead were great. This pharmacy is one of the worst I've seen on long Island. Once i get my final script there, I won't be returning

I went late at night needed a lot of items and the carts were locked. I asked why, I couldn’t carry everything and I was told to shop and keep bringing things to the front they would hold them. That’s ridiculous and a waste of time. Two people just sitting at the register useless, I said forget it I’ll go to the 24hr cvs and he said okay bye. Their customer service is horrendous, always! Not going back they just lost a customer.

If you order something for pickup, that website clearly says you will not be charged for substituted item at a higher price. They are horrible at the Deer Park location. It doesn't matter that their website says they will substitute, the employees will not comply. After I said I will bring them the information to look at they cancelled my order. They deserve no stars

Stay away from Walgreens pharmacy at all costs. I’ve been forced to use them for scripts that cvs did not have. The past 3 interactions have been absolutely horrible! They give you false information and tell you they ordered your script but never do. “Customer service” is very rude and condescending. The pharmacist (chow) does not return calls. It’s been two weeks now and still have not heard back from them. I had to go back to my doctor and have them call cvs to send a different script that insurance accepted. Walgreens should be shutdown.

Been on hold for over an hour now. It's ridiculous there's nothing but negative reviews for this very reason. You'd think they'd have addressed this issue by now.

WOW I hate to say this but this place looks like garbage, there's only one person working here and it's dirty and the shopping cart are all gone and everything is a unorganized

There bathroom at this location is always out of order. When I asked to use it the lady gives me a nasty attitude and yells it is out of service and rolls her eyes. Considering it's a drug store and services medical needs you would think they at least make sure their bathroom is serviceable. They need a visit from corporate headquarters

The worst pharmacy in the world. They dont care about you. There manners and procedures are disgusting. My dr was late calling in my meds and they would not even help.

The most Horrendous customer service that I have ever experienced. If you think that you were going to go there and transfer your prescription easily, you are mistaken. They constantly hang up the phone on you. AND OTHER pharmacists. I witness that multiple times… and the only way to get answers is to ask for a store manager! Then he has to physically walk to them and tell them to pick up the phone. How is this establishment still open? TERRIBLE. If I could give it zero stars I would. Do not fill your prescriptions here Unless you absolutely have to, that’s unfortunate.

Update- the manager Grant was very helpful with the situation im so thankful for people like him he was amazing he even gave me store credit and listened to my concerns thank you Mr. Grant we need more people like you in the world.

Many nasty employees. Had to change to Rite Aid for scripts. Website is useless. If it says in stock, probably not, then they won't honor prices as stated on their site

So I call Walgreens in Deer Park, to find out if I'm allergic to a medication or if I, could take it. The pharmacist told me "everyone is different how should I know. Call your doctor. "

When I was with CVS I would ask the same thing and they would tell me yes or no.

I also asked how long between taking my migraine medication and allergy medication do I have to wait. Without even knowing what I'm taking and he said "oh you don't have to wait you can take them together".
He didn't ask my name, my address nothing. He acted like he was too busy to answer my questions.

Walgreens pharmacy I'm stuck with thanks to our medical plan.
I miss CVS who actually cared about their customers.

Grossly incompetent pharmacy. If your doctor sent in a prescription for water, you can guarantee that they will have extreme difficulty fulfilling your prescription. If you depend on your medication, never come to this site. I don’t even know how they maintain jobs. Even when I got my Lasik done, the prescription was sent out a week prior, but they said they never received anything, when I became irate, they managed to find it. Don’t play with peoples healthcare, if you guys hate your life then do something else, because one day it won’t be good for you. That’s why I don’t go there anymore, because their stupidity will trigger you.

Its just ridiculous to me how inconsiderate and just straight up lazy some people are. Its like your working and getting paid for this it baffles my mind. Earlier today I called the pharmacy department and they didn't want to call CVS to transfer my medication. Like it was such a a hassle. She was like CVS isn't even opened and then she was suppose to call me back, still a hour later no call back. I wish people could care about others ans treat them with respect. Like people do better whatever you do treat people like humans and not scums.

This pharmacy is completely unprofessional. They keep you on hold for 10+ minutes, pick up the phone for 1 second just to put you on hold 3 more times. Then they pick up and just hang up on you! What a great way to handle business-NOT!

I use to like going to this store before I got sick. But I recently put in for curbside pick up and they had me waiting at curbside for an hour without even considering doing my order that I paid for online. I only got one of the items out of the three and the whole place is run by a bunch of unprofessional little kids

Worst Walgreen’s pharmacy I have been to. There is always an entirely too long of a line and when you finally get helped, the customer service is severely lacking. I feel like I am a burden upon the pharmacist every time I need to pick up a prescription. Today is the last day I will be frequenting this location. Save your time, energy, and patience and go to a different location or pharmacy all together where you won’t leave feeling aggravated.

Had all COVID shots at various Walgreens. All good! Professional, courteous staff and nice separate Patient Health Room at the Huntington Station store.

Absolutely WORST pharmacy I’ve ever been to! Save yourself the headache and do NOT go here! The pharmacist Malina is so rude, definitely should humble herself, But she’s not the only incompetent one in there. I’m fully covered with my insurance and even with the prior authorization already approved they had an issue SMFH. They always seem to have a problem on their end whether it be claiming there’s an insurance problem or simply not being able to read the date correctly. That’s only one of the many problems I’ve dealt with with them… Horrible horrible experience to say the least. I transferred my prescriptions to a different pharmacy and will definitely NEVER go back there again!

I hate going there. They make you wait so long before they help you at the window. They need better customer service representatives.

Had a horrible experience today at the pharmacy at this Walgreens in deer park. The attendant short causation woman seem extremely frustrated. She wouldn't allow me to explain to her that I called prior to being there and that I had a new health insurance plan. She would not allow me to get a word in.she was also typing (banging) on the keyboard very aggressively. Worst part of the entire ordeal is that she proceeded to yell out (calling both medications by name) that my insurer no longer covered them.so loud that the other staff members stopped what they were doing to focus on what she had belted out. Needless to say I was embarrassed, but I really needed my medications so I paid for them out of pocket then left.

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Everytime I have to pick up medication i wait for at least 45 minutes if there’s more Than 1 other person waiting or at the drive through.

I’ve called everyday for the past 4 days to see if my order is ready and i’ve had no answer and i was on the line for 10 minutes yesterday with no answer.

This is the worst pharmacy. They never pick up the phone. If you called to find out the status of your prescriptions you won’t even speak to a person for 30 minutes to an hour wait and if they finally do pick up the phone they’re really rude and unhelpful. Do not go here unless you want to be dealing with people who don’t care about your health and well-being.

On the phone for 45 mins no one answers the phone and call disconnect. Also I was on the phone with east setauket location, they promised to transfer my call to the deer park pharmacy and she hung up the phone.

Worst customer service and online ordering. Always understaffed. Never going to buy anything from this branch ever.

Worst experience I’ve had. Who manages this store? ! Lmao I legit waited for someone to open a lock for eye drops - that’s a joke as it is first of all - and then I wait 15 mins for a manager to scan her card for beer. Sat on the phone for 30 minutes trying to reach the pharmacy. Each time, You're on hold for 10 minutes then phone disconnects. You all are not THAT busy.

I order online water of quantity of 6g when I went to the store to pick up there was 5 and charging me over 60cent for bag where no bag so I asked for refund of missing 1water bottle and bag the lady who was the manager was so rude and telling me that can’t refund and her responsibility for missing water from the store worst service and give me only point of my missing order and telling me no rule for online refund. Worst service. Won’t recommend.

I went there looking for a single product. No one was there to offer assistance and they were so disorganized.shelves looked like a hurricane blew thru.people in pharmacy seemed like they had no clue what they had in stock.i left i was so frustrated.

Cashiers are mad rude i was in line when a short cashier was yelling at an old lady who couldn’t hear well and the cashier kept saying “cash or card!? ” and hit the ladies hand that had their card on it and the old lady said “i’m sorry i didn’t understand” and one day my sister went and when she went to pay for a laundry detergent the cashier said “how you expect me to grab that, it’s too heavy just pass it to me”

I've been coming to this location for a few years now. I don't come all too often but I came today to find a Mother's Day gift for a friend. I found what I was looking for. It was a body wash bath gift set and a gift bag. They have a really nice selection with good prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and organised. It's at a pretty good location. It's about a mile up the road from my house. It wasn't busy at allI was in-and-out between 20 minutes or so. I usually find what I am looking for at this location. But sometimes they can be too expensive. I only come here when I really need to & I don't think I will find it at the dollar store.

Typical Walgreen's conveniently located for me. Went for my flu shot again this year and they insisted I had to pay for it. Went to CVS and got my shot. There's always a long wait in line with no management around to control it.
2/16/21 scheduled and got my covid vaccine today.
Walgreen's makes it easy. Got to my 9: 45 appointment 15 min early as requested. Was done and out at 9: 47. No line or crowd.

This is the worst store. It’s so understaffed and always crowded. Most of the cashiers are unfriendly and make you feel as if you are bothering them. I had a curbside pickup order & when it was ready, I waited almost an hour for someone to bring it out. I called the store a few times after waiting 20 minutes but nobody answered. I understand we’re in the middle of a pandemic but a little friendliness & decent customer service would be nice.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Pharmacy service is horrible. Extremely poor customer service. I am surprised corporate Walgreens hasn't intervened with all the poor reviews. The Pharmacy needs a shake up of staff.

The line never ends here. I went at the noon time and 1 AM at night but both times there is a line on register. Usually only one register is open. I am not sure that they have self-checkout. But better to go to Rite Aid.

WORST phone experience ever. Held on to speak to pharmacy for 30 minutes. Finally someone picked up the phone. BUT when I tried to explain why I was calling she interupted me and said she had to put me back on hold again. Eventually the phone just disconnected. So after 45 minutes I was no closer to getting any help than I was when I first tried to call.

This type of "customer service" is totally unacceptable.

Walgreens in Deer Park needs to re-evaulate its treatment of its customers.

Probably the worst pharmacy in America, literally the worst. No one answers the phone, no one seems to care, it’s like a perpetual nightmare dealing with this place. I do not recommend at all.

I don’t know if this store has trained their employees how to do a good customer service, it’s not the first I experienced the worst attitude from some of female cashiers, they acted rude and impatient.
Another problem is, online product information doesn’t match the actual product in store, wasted my time to drive there, I didn’t expect they would feel sorry about it, but please just be nice.

It was over crowded and under staffed! As per usual with this place unfortunately! They had no more thermometers still except for ridiculous amounts that I can't afford and wouldn't pay if I could!

I should not even give this place even one star the pharmacy manager is and her team are the worst. She plays with your medication if your on anything controlled for pain and they treat you like the addict as if your the one writing yourself the freaking prescription. I will never use them again. I have moved all my and my family medications to another pharmacy and it has worked out lovely.

Need to train employees to give better customer service. Item I was looking for was in stock and it wasn’t. Asked one of the workers for help. She seemed like I was bothering her. Ended up going to Farmingdale and had a bad experience at that location too.

Such a friendly staff, they were so helpful when I couldn't find bandages in the aisles, because I am very bad at finding stuff.

This place is perfect for when you need a place to pick up medical supplies

Always a line here. Cashier's have no clue what to do. Management is never around to help or anything. Stop hiding in the office

Genuinely so much better than the CVS just up the road, the line aren’t nearly as long due to the fact that it’s a smaller store with less customers.

It also has a working bathroom, unlike the CVS up the road. I always prefer this place over CVS

Negative 0 stars. The pharmacy is a disgrace. I only pray that the pharmacist all felt like i do. Going thru life of pain and acting all pompous like they are above us because we are sick. And then humiliate us like we are not human. I I have left this place in tears alot of times. Please write a review that you have experienced that left you feeling the same way.

If I could give negative stars I would. I am very close to reporting the Manager Of Pharmacy to the board. I have caught her in lie after lie playing with my pain medication refills. She has told me insurance won’t allow a refill then I call insurance, they in turn tell me the prescription was already filled they have no issue. When the insurance representative calls her she fills it telling them a lie. She tells me she needs a code from the Dr (waited over 24hrs) When I get the Dr to call she tells the Dr the prescription has been waiting for me. When we went to pick it up the technician had to go find it because it had just been filled-which was over an hour later Then the receipt showed it was filled YESTERDAY. She told me on another occasion after waiting 5 days that the store can not get any more of the pills for the month. She cancelled the prescription and I had to get a new prescription called in elsewhere. The only reason I use them is because they are 24 hours. But slowly one by one I am moving all prescriptions over to another pharmacy. She needs to be stopped from playing with peoples medications. I understand pain pills are under scrutiny but she has no idea why I am Them or what my situation is. She is not my Dr that - by the way I visit monthly.

This is a poorly run location. They never have my diabetic needles in stock. I often have to return her a few times to get my prescription refilled. The last time I placed the order on a Friday and they called me Saturday and said they would be in Tuesday. I come Wendsday and I’m told they don’t have an order and to call tommoro! I refuse to leave and then magically they produce the order.this is basically every experience here.

I'm giving Walgreens a 1 star do to their pharmacy technicians. 2 of their technicians who are female were very rude too me. I felt like I was judged because of the meds I was picking up also. I will not lie at the time I was going through a rough time and I may have given a attitude but I believe they teach technician's how to deal with certain ppl who either are in withdrawal or have erratic behavior. This Walgreens pharmacy is at a low.

I want to thank the overnight pharmacist for helping me out with my insurance drama. Cindy is the best, she helped get it resolved. So thankful:)
