Just don’t. Drive wherever you have to to have your prescription filled elsewhere. It is faster and more convenient to go to Newton or Middletown or even farther. Just don’t bother.

Absolutely terrible in every regard. The pharmacy is a waste of time and money. Never has any basic medicine in stock, rude staff, hang up on you after waiting on hold over 1/2 hour on the phone. Go elsewhere.

Waited on the phone for half an hour. Line was picked up twice and then put back on hold, and then they hung up on me. Called back and was put back on hold for another half an hour. Line as picked up twice again and put back on hold. Was never actually helped by anyone.

Impossible to get on the phone. They actually tell you that they don't answer the phone. If there is an issue with your prescription no one calls to let you know or fix it, never mind contacting the doctor. Always the cheapest made generics.

Just now after calling all day only to get recording that the staff is helping someone else. I finally get someone to tell me if they got my husband's perscription that was sent yesterday upon his discharge from hospital. It wasn't filled because of the high co-pay! I am outraged. This is my husbands life we are talking about. A simple phone call from Walgreens would have been nice.

Had an appointment for a booster shot. There was a long waiting line. 45 minutes is unacceptable Pass! Nice waiting area. Ugh

Went to get my prescription filled. They said it would take half an hour, so a ran other errands while I waited. Came back 2 hours later and still wasn’t filled. Had to come back the next day and even then they didn’t get it right.not a great experience

Went to pick up my prescription my dr sent in very nasty lady in front I told her my name she said we didn’t do we don’t except your insurance no more I said well I will oay for it she well we’re going lunch so we’re not doing it now I said excuse me she said that’s wat I said I will neaver use that pharmacy again use to go there all the time they don’t call you or nothing tell you anything very nasty pharmacy employees

My brother is 84 yrs old. Went to Walgreens port jervis ny to make a Covid appointment.
Pharmacy department told him he needed to do this on line. At 84 and no computer or knowledge about how to use one they refused to offer a senior help.
So he walked to port jervis pharmacy and they were more than happy to help with his appointment your company should be ashamed of them self’s NO SENOR should do business with this company My only hope is this company investigate this misgivings and take corrective action

Went to pick up my prescription at 6: 15pm tonight and apparently the pharmacy is closed. Nice of them to not follow their normal pharmacy hours so their customers can get their medications. It’s not a restaurant where if you’re closed I can just go to a grocery store buy food and make it. This is the only way I can get my medication. Stick to your hours and stop closing early!

They will close for lunch with no warning. Even if you were waiting for over 20 minutes in line instead of waiting to serve me and one other customer. When I asked to speak with a manager she comes out giggling to her coworker like a 10 year old saying "why are you doing this to me im on my lunch" how she is a manager is absolutely beyond me. I would never recommend.

What a joke, avoid this pharmacy at all cost. Not sure why the Walgreens corporation doesn't step in and fix this God awful place. My record for waiting on hold is 1 hour and 3 minutes to get disconnected. The whole time 1 caller was ahead of me. When you do get through, they aren't helpful which then I either get hung up on or disconnected. I didn't choose this place my script got moved from Montague Shoprite and all I need is for them to transfer it because I refuse to deal with this any longer. Weird situation there.

I've never had a problem with the staff here, before or after the switch from Rite Aid. I do often get stuck behind someone who doesn't understand their insurance benefits and take up time at the counter. I wish they would have a separate window for insurance issues that take up so much time.

On hold with pharmacy for 52 minutes. I then receive a msg that they have gone on lunch break but I am welcome to hold during that half hour. Gee, thanks. Will transfer my prescriptions when I finally get someone, anyone, to pick up the phone.

When this was rite aid I used their pharmacy. But apparently Walgreens don't have a contract with my insurance company. Smh. This place is a joke now.

What a great place, I all ways get my stuff on time… that poor staff having to put up with some of things I hear from the customers, very unchristian like. They deserve more for what they put up with….

To be so bold and blame your customers for not doing something. Last I checked this is a digital age and refilling prescriptions using an app is a right of passage. 24 hours is plenty of time to count out 90 pills. I guess based on other reviews this should have been expected. I expect better from a company that claims 116 years of experience and still innovating.

Never Ever answers the pharmacy phone I get disconnected without fail every single time and then over course they have an attitude with me when I come to pick up my elderly mothers prescriptions because she can't drive. We are switching pharmacy and you better believe the next one we choose wint be a wallgreens. Ive reported everything to corporate including the recorded phone calls I went out of the way to record. This problem has been going on for over a year. SICK OF IT.

Hours long holds on phone for pharmacy to be disconnected. But asked for a survey. Never called back by manager. Manager hides when asked for on site.

They've been a nightmare to get a hold of. I needed to get a small refill to hold me over my new full month refill was available. Their phone was disconnected every time I called. I then had to go in person to see if they could refill it for me. The one Pharmacist was able to help me out which is why they got 2 stars.

I then had to transfer my prescription over to a CVS location due to insurance purposes. CVS put in a request to have my information faxed over, Walgreens has not faxed over my information and its been going on three days now. They wont pick up the phone calls from CVS and they keep hanging up when they do get someone on the line.

Awful.

If they don't have the medicine in stock and aren't getting more for a week, they won't tell you for days.

If they get prescriptions from doctors, they tell you they didn't get it even if you watch the nurse fax it over from the other end.

They were bad before covid-19, now they're completely unusable and untrustworthy.

This place is so bad the pharmacy saying they need pre-authorization for my med witch it’s under no fault. Had to give them the bid # for them to bill it and it went though if they don’t know what there doing they shouldn’t be working there. I had to keep telling them i don’t need pre-authorization for my meds and one lady there keep telling me yes u do. I never ever had a problem with rite aide. I will be looking for another pharmacy. Theses people suck

The pharmacy department workers are wonderful a s helpful as for the pharmacist the women pharmacist is extremely rude doesn't call the doctor or the patient if their is an issue with their medication this is the third time i have had an issue and my medication was not ready.or the doctor was not called. And the order was called in hours ago and seven hours later your just starting to fill my medicine
I want to speak with the pharmacist supervisor immediately. I want to speak with the regional manager of Walgreens immediately. Christine beach my number is on file at the port jervis location

Absolutely the worst pharmacy to try and deal with. I was hopeful when they changed from Rite Aid to Walgreens but, sad to say nothing has changed.

So disorganized, such a problem to fill my prescriptions. The staff is never able to answer my questions. I have an issue refilling scrips every month, but this particular month, I ordered it days early. Was told it would be in the next day. I waited 3 days to come pick it up.still not ready. Staff had no idea about the refill, they didn’t seem to care. I asked questions about it. They were clueless. They still have no idea when it’s going to be in. Only one that’s EVER been able to help me any of the other times was a guy named Kasi. He deserves a raise.

Doctor ordered two prescriptions around 3: 30 yesterday. Went to Walgreens to pick them up 3 hours later to be told they didn't have the one script I needed asap. Told to come back today. Went back at at 5: 30 today to drive through to be told I was in the wrong lane for pickup do went inside. Waited 10 mins on line and was told they still didn't have the medication. They never bothered to call me ahead of time. I'm now on day two without my much needed medication. They could care less about me or my medical needs. Not the first time this has happened either. I will never get my scripts there again and will now only go to Port Jervis Pharmacy. Only gave them one star because no stars not an option.
