Vuarnet

Horrible. In July 2023 I paid $420 for a pair of Vaurnets. In November 2023 I noticed a crack in the frame. The glasses were only worn when I was driving my car. I contacted Vaurnet to have them repaired under what I assumed was warranty coverage and they ended up charging me $260 in repair fees. The claim was because I bought them from one of their third party vendors the warranty was not legit.
I’ll never buy another pair of Vaurnets.
The company should be embarrassed.

I've been trying to get a simple replacement screw for one of their models for THREE YEARS - I've been bounced between their HQ and NYC store and not a single person has been able to send me one to repair my glasses. Every time I call, they are beyond rude. Worthless brand and god-awful experience

I interacted with the store online. They sent me an invoice, I paid it and they shipped my product the same day. Thank you to Jay who assisted me online. Everything was very easy and I expect the product to arrive later this week.

I received a package with a missing item worth $390. The insurance covered from the delivery carrier was $50 and there is still a difference of $340. Vuarnet have decided to ignore my request and should be accountable for refunding me the $340 difference as I never received the item. I do not recommend Vuarnet.

Ordered a pair over Thanksgiving weekend. Shipping via usps took forever, about 3-4 weeks (thanks to high volume and cuts to usps) even though Vaurnet paid for three day shipping. Customer service was superb and they were a day away from shipping another pair when my order arrived.

The sunglasses are just how I remember them, etching and all. I haven't had a pair since the mid 1980's and I believe I'll be brand loyal for years to come. Classic style and quality glass. They're still the coolest sunglasses.

Mr Stanley was incredible and helped me and my husband select the perfect sunglasses. He also helped us with apparel! Service is fantastic and the selection is just like Paris!

The store had an incredible selection of eye wear and clothing. Stanley was such a huge help and allowed me and my husband to try on many pairs of sunglasses! He was helpful in helping us select the perfect pairs along with some apparel! Great experience!

I received excellent service when calling to inquire about a repair for my glasses. The customer service representaive took the time to walk me through the necessary steps in order to mail my glasses back to them and receive them back like new the day they were purchased only 4 days later. I am very happy with the help I received and the outcome. I love my Vuarnet glasses and now I also love the people that work there!

I ordered new glasses. Vuarnet filled the order to get the sale immediately. I sent in a repair order for an older pair. Vuarnet has too much going on to simply send me an acknowledgment or status after three tries. My advice: if you buy Vuarnet do not expect any timely or responsive customer service to support the purchase. One would think for what you pay for Vuarnet’s that they would be quick to respond, they are not.

Absolutely clueless sales staff. Train these people before you let them loose. I mean they didn't even know why there is V engraved into their lenses. That's like 101 Vuarnet knowledge.all these other reviewers are staff, including the CEO! What a joke from a company with such history.

Love Vuarnet's since 1990! I had so many different ones but 02 are still my favorites.
I received great customer service while shopping but the store was a mess with boxes all over, hard to walk.

Vuarnet's return policy is from date purchased not date arrived. 14 days doesn't leave much room for returns with 7-9 day shipping.rude customer service, even when I was simply trying to exchange and not return an item.

Purchased glasses on 8/26. Receive flyer for $50 off on 8/29. I was annoyed as I had asked about upcoming sales events when I was told Vuarnet doesn't do that. Today I called the store for a credit and they said, "No, we don't do that". So now I have to go down to the temp pop up store and return the glasses and I most likely won't buy them back. Expensive glasses come with an expectation of a positive customer experience. Sad as I used to love this brand and now there are many other sunglass companies that treat customers differently: (PS Don't pay with cash in the store or your glasses will not be returnable.only with cc.

Great store. Difficult to keep track of all of the models, but that's a nice problem to have!

The staff were hugely kind and welcoming. And it was super-nice being in your shop on the one-year anniversary. Appreciate the champagne, cheese and other snacks, and I love the two pair of sunglasses I found and purchased. The complimentary t-shirt is appreciated, yet it's a bit much of a billboard for your company, so it'll be donated to Goodwill to help someone who might want a shirt like that. -Bravo to a fun and wonderful store you have!

Staff was very friendly and helpful in assisting me choose my first pair of Vuarnets in 33 years. Glad I went, as I ended up choosing a different style than I had favored when looking at the company website. Staff encouraged me to try them outside the store in the sun to help with my selection. Will probably be back again. A very positive retail experience.

Vuarnet comes back after all these years and it's so bad. They do not repair anything, do not know how to adjust their own frames, give misleading informations, outright lies actually since they do not make their own lenses as they claim. Way overpriced for the quality. Stick with Maui Jim!
And of one the reviewers is the CEO.pathetic.

I purchased my first pair of Vuarnets when I was in Paris last summer, I was stoked to come across their NYC shop. The selection is pretty big, many options to choose from and they have T-shirts too. The staff is friendly and not pushy like other shops tend to be.

Do not come here to shop for frames. They have only 1 style.
The staff gave misleading information and caused me to waste a trip there.
