UNIQLO 5th Avenue

Very cool store ended up buying a Kaws tshirt and sport coat, not sure why they nickel and diming for a bag though during check out kinda new to me…

It's very big and have a lot of customers.
No long lines to pay or try on clothes!

The clothing itself is fantastic, in terms of quality, and overall selection.

But stock is not always available (colors availability). And I overall wish that customer service was more hands-on: it's hard making an outfit while having literally dozens of different clothing types to chose from, when you are on your own.

I like this store, we always found something nice to treat ourselves, we were able to take advantage of some interesting promotions

Horrible cannot accept returns from another uniqlo, on top no restroom for costumers, bad service and not nice customer service Definitely not buying like I would like to.

(A) the clothing is reasonably priced
(B) they have a very large selection (pretty sure this is their North American flagship store
(C) they have the things I want (which is mostly basic things like T-shirts, shorts, and wind pants)
(D) you can order stuff online and pick it up there, and they have it ready really fast

FYI the checkout is not on the ground floor which is kind of weird. You have to go upstairs. But.you should go upstairs because that's where most of the merchandise is.

I went to the 5th Ave location to make a return of some bulky items that I needed to offload before visiting other stores in the neighborhood. When I was called to the cashier, the young women told me that she would not process the return because the items were not originally purchased at the 5th Ave location.

I've never heard of a policy like that before, but accepted her words because why would someone just make something up like that? It had been a long time since I last returned anything at Uniqlo, so I just assumed there was some change to the return policy, as bizarre as it was.

My entire day was upended because I had to continue carrying these big items while salvaging my original plans in the neighborhood. It was a major burden and inconvenience.

Hours later, I went out of my way to go to the Hudson Yards Uniqlo location, where I had originally made my purchase, to complete my return. I asked them if the return policy was as that women described, but they looked at me puzzled and said no, returns can be made at any Uniqlo location.

I didn't think of this at the time but the return policy is actually printed on the receipt and it states, ". Merchandise purchased in any U. S.store can only be returned or exchanged at any location within the U. S. " which outright contradicts what that cashier at the 5th Ave location said to me.

I see that other customers have been affected by this modified return policy. I'm genuinely confused why this flagship location continues to uphold incorrect interpretations of what the official return policy states. It makes no sense?

The irony of this situation is right before I was attended to by that cashier, there was an exuberant woman, who may have been the manager, proudly declaring they were aiming for/have top ratings in customer service.

What a disappointment.

The customer service was very approachable, helpful and knowledgeable of the products.
The shop was very organised and well stocked.
I have shopped in Uniqlo in Tokyo and London but this NYC store is the best so far.

I love these clothes. Jackets for adults from $69 and up for children $39.90. There are offers on the racks.

The only clothing store that does not stand for their product quality! I have been using many Uniqlo products for years until today that HEATTECH Warm-Lined Pants, meant for outdoor activities, only lasts for 2 weeks without any outdoor activities because of its design flaw. The belt buckle is built with very thin material and broken in only few times of use. The belt also cannot be replaced because it is sewed with the pants. The store refuses to get it replaced and generously offer $20 coupon for a $60 pants. Their product reviews are also moderated, only good reviews are published on their website.

Uniqlo has everything you need. However, things can get overcrowded and hectic here (see picture). The employees were always nice and helpful.

I really had THEE worst experience possible at this location.
I did a pick up last week and never got
the item even though the item was in stock, so i went to pick up the item, which i had to repurchase…i asked 6 workers where the item is.and
Nobody knew.i had to look for a manager just to get proper help. A bunch of! Diots working there

My experience: 2 out of 10
It's really upsetting that I had to run up and down the 2nd and 3rd floor to look for a specific jacket when the sale representative (3 in specific) that I had asked for assistance to find this jacket. I worked in retail before and it doesn't take much to look in your phone to see how much stock there is.

This store is like the most crowded train station. The only thing I was looking from the moment I got inside was the exit. Quality levels also dropped a lot, this company would do anything to make Wall Street investors happy.

I love this brand for cold weather clothes and I always go there when I travel abroad, but this store was especially beautiful and huge. I loved shopping at the automatic terminal.

There is no better Uniqlo location in America. They have anything and everything you could ever want. The staff is very friendly and there are ample dressing rooms as well.
