Aliya R at Uni K Wax is the BEST. Not only is she an expert at her craft. She is one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. She is so gentle and makes me feel comfortable every single time. Im aware this review may have her all booked up, but she truly deserves her flowers. She is at 2 locations in NY. I will travel near or far for her always!

I've been going to the East Village location for 4 years and they have been great. Ami is my girl! Love her energy & personality! She's knowledgeable & understanding of my issues. I've had some problems with ingrown hairs and she's advised what I need to do to prevent reoccurring ingrown hairs. Her advise has been very helpful.

Aliyah is the best ever! I been coming to her for years. I usually see her at the midtown location but I decided to try East Village. She is very efficient, quick and a perfectionist at her work. Highly recommend Aliyah.

I just happen to be walking pass with my daughter and decided to walk in never to think I’d walk out but not after I got a Brazilian Bikini (front/back) and underarm wax.
This was my first time everrrr getting this done and I must say I’ll be going back. The receptionist Nidhi is very nice she made me feel comfortable enough by explaining what’s gonna happen being that it’s my first time, and the waxer Neelam omg she was so gentle, yes it hurt like crazy but by the time we laughed and she kept my mind off what she was doing we was done and I loved my new looks

I got a Brazilian done here and loved it. I have been getting Brazilians consistently for 8 years now, and this is the best salon I have found. The wax is gentle and the staff is quick and efficient. Loved it

Highly recommend this specific location. All the ladies have always been so accommodating. My go-to are Jana & Ami. They’ll make sure your experience goes as smooth as possible. The receptionists are always nice and welcoming, the place is kept extremely clean. I’ve moved out of the neighborhood to Queens and still travel to specifically get waxed here. Definitely worth it!

I would highly recommend Ami at Uni K Wax East Village! I originally chose Uni K Wax due to its convenient location and good reviews, but will definitely be coming back due to my overall great experience. I had my first appointment here for several wax services and Ami made me feel extremely comfortable and did a great job, which are the the most important things for me. On top of that, I was seen right away and the whole process went really quick.

Ami is the ABSOLUTE BEST. She is professional, kind, friendly, and so skilled. Best wax I’ve ever had in my life. 10/10! Thank you so much to Ami!

Payal was very good and quick, I’m very particular about how my wax is done and as my first time she checked off all the boxes. Apply powder to absorb the sweat and make it less painful, pressure after waxing, make sure a thorough job is done, and most importantly quick not spending a long time waxing and dragging out the process. The best part was when she was done she offered an ice pack to not only help feel refreshed but more importantly close the pores! 10/10 recommend Payal.

Wow - I cannot recommend Jana enough. She provided the most painless Brazilian wax of all time! She’s been working at Uni K for 5 years and her expertise definitely shows. So kind as well!

Ami is the best. She very delicate and relaxing. She could deal with my crazy nervous laugh. Always a good time when I get wax. She will make you feel comfortable and do small portion at a time and no bleeding. She will go the extra mile. I would HIGH RECOMMEND AMI. She is the best. I try others and I would never go to no one else but her. I followed her from 92st uní wax all the way to east village. She better not leave nyc because I would not know I would do with out her.

My wax lady Jana is the absolute best! My daughter and I both come to Uni K wax on the east village, the staff is friendly and the place is very clean. Once you have an appointment there is no wait time, so you are seen exactly at the time of your appointment.

This is my regular spot. Clean, friendly personnel is professional and make you feel comfortable for procedures

This isn’t a fancy spot but it’s much cleaner and better than the local nail salons. They have their own proprietary wax which is smooth and buttery.

I’m usually in and out in 30-40 max for a few items.

The only issue is their point system does not work properly and they’re not great at fixing it but I’m crossing my fingers they fix it because I go a lot and you can earn points to get free services.
