Dude they’re missing all the good brands that have been around for ages like nars, dior, mac, etc, or items in there, they don’t even get the new stuff often, even brands like hourglass don’t have a full on display and limited products, disappointing honestly.
Their pickup policy is ridiculous! Added my son as the pickup person, he had no ID so they didn’t allow him to pick up; no problem. I then go the next day (with my ID) and the order wouldn’t be released to me because I’m not the pickup person listed on email. BUT THE ACCOUNT, EMAIL & CARD USED FOR PURCHASE ARE UNDER MY NAME. I gladly had them cancel the order. I’ll stick to Sephora.
I have been a big fan of this ulta ever since their opening. The staff has always been super helpful and kind and I've had no problems with getting makeup or a shade match. I would give far more stars if it wasnt for being followed and singled out as a gay person there.
The security there have been descriminatory lately in who theyre watching. I'm a gay man, and there's one guard in particular that follows me around the store even when I'm on line buying products already. He's standing nearby me at almost all times, instead of waiting by 16 year Olds in the prestige makeup areas like hourglass and lancome. Profiling gay men isn't a great way to do business and someone needs to talk to him. This isn't the first time, but today might be my last time there unless someone talks to him. Prior folks working security have been great, with one woman being really friendly a while back (last I saw her was the first release of the hydromaniac foundation a few years ago) but this guy is clearly profiling gay customer.
My recent visit to ULTA left me with mixed feelings, primarily due to the unfriendly nature of the staff. While ULTA is known for its wide range of beauty products, the lack of friendly customer service greatly impacted my overall experience.
Unfortunately, the staff at ULTA did not display a welcoming or helpful attitude. They seemed disinterested and were not readily available to assist customers. This lack of friendliness made it difficult to feel comfortable while browsing or seeking assistance.
Where to begin…the service at this store was horrendous. A woman who I presume to be the manager, wearing a bright orange shirt, was following my teenage friends and I around the store until we left, standing and staring at us, and felt the need to tell a coworker that she was “Babysitting GROWN TEENAGERS”. I felt very uncomfortable and discriminated against by my age because my friends and I would never even consider stealing from a store. While I considered the fact that employees might have a policy to follow groups of teenagers around because of stereotypes, there were other groups of teens from other schools in the store. I don’t understand why we were being targeted by this woman when there were other teenagers around. When I opened a blush that I was going to buy to check the color, she came over and yelled at me and told me that I couldn’t test it out. Because of this interaction, I didn’t buy the blush. I asked for help to find a hair product, and she brought me over to it and left without saying anything. She stood and guarded my friend when she was browsing the blush selection, making my friend feel out of place. I felt so unwelcome at the a store that I’ve felt comfortable in since the opening of it so many years ago. Because of this terrible service by the manager, my friend and I felt nauseous and sick, and had to go to Foot Locker to take a seat and breathe. When seeing how distraught we were, an employee of Foot Locker talked to us and assured us that we were in the right. I have been a loyal Ulta supporter, but after today I don’t think that I will have the same feelings towards this store.
They provide the best service when you go there to buy products, what disappointed me was the makeup artist!? I paid for full makeover and she did a horrible job, I am not a makeup artist but I watch tutorials all the time and I could tell she did a bad job! In 5 minutes my eyes were done!? Which we know it takes longer, when I complained to her and told her that I didn't ask for that, she left and asked another girl to finish my makeup, the other girl did a better job but still looked bad. I love this store but I am not coming here again to get my makeup done with them: (
MJ was the absolute best! I came to her last minute to get my hair fixed after a different salon messed it up, and she did a fantastic job. If you’re looking to get your hair done at Ulta, ask for MJ.
This Ulta location is honestly one of the best, I finally decided to pass by the benefit brow counter where I got the most beautiful, eyebrow wax by Denea truly amazing experience! So therapeutic and left looking even more gorgeous! Thank you Denea! U have gained a loyal customer! I truly recommend this ulta location! Don’t hesitate!
Haircut by Cindy Korth It looks great & so many compliments. Cindy is the best highly recommend her. Cindy used a Mousse to finish loved it & purchased it
I had a bad experience with one of the employees. She had a very nasty attitude over a simple question. I ignored her behavior and while I was paying she just remained with that attitude. Very un comfortable and upsetting experience for me knowing I wasn’t being rude to her.
Must see Denea at the Benefit Brow Bar. She’s very talented with all brows, made sure to shape mine exactly as requested. She’s not only a talented artist, but also extremely professional. She’s dedicated to her craft and clientele. A big deal for me. Thanks Denea! I will be back for sure!
I would avoid this location. It’s entirely too crowded, in store and looking for parking. The registers always seem to have an issue & they charge more for the same product that I found in a different location. Their customer service is incredibly lacking. I had to wait almost 15 mins at the pick up section when I was the only one there and the line wasn’t even long.
I am updating my reviews for this Ulta. My first visit was on a weekend when I was helped by an amazing lady by the name of Anastasia. I came back today to exchange a product and had a frustrating experience. They have a totally different staff on weekdays apparently and it sucks. I asked the cashier to email my receipt instead of printing it. It was sent it to the old email they had which I had previously updated with them, so I called to give them the correct email again and to please send my receipt there. They were incredibly unhelpful saying I needed to come back and get it. I live quite far and all I wanted was my receipt sent to the correct email. The gal I talked to at the Ulta even got my name wrong saying my info In the system was wrong.so yes I needed to come back when she actually misheard my phone number. . I had to call customer service and speak to a supervisor just to request a record of my purchase. Hopefully it will be sent.
Don’t come here they will either cancel ur appointment the morning of it or when you walk in they will tell you the hairdresser called on a emergency They shouldn’t be hiring ppl that don’t want to work It’s ridiculous
My original appointment was supposed to be today o’clock for highlights a haircut and blow dry. My appointment was going to be with Christy T. I got there 20 minutes before my appointment in which I was standing an employees from the hair salon inside the Ulta store never greeted me look at me and not even ask why I was standing there. I keep asking people if they work there and I was being ignored. To the point the security guard a saw and she went in and told them that I was waiting here for hair service. Then a girl who were 13 didn’t ask for my name didn’t ask why I had the appointment with Sarah next anything and she told me I couldn’t win in the store and therefore I had to come back. It was my first and last time ever coming to this altar sore in which customer service is horrible and that’s definitely not the way a customer should be treated. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anybody if you had to go to Ulta store please visit a different location
So I went in today very happy I purchases the Grande brow. I got two which are not cheap items and I go home and notice one is EMPTY! My heart dropped its ridiculous how I see security all around the store and items are being stolen and what blows my mind is that the cashier did not even notice. I want mt money back.
Has to be one of the most neglected Ulta’s out there. I can never find anyone to help on the floor and when I actually do get someone they barely have any knowledge of the products they sell. Some of the girls can be really rude too, don’t bother asking any questions to the cashiers, you’ll just receive attitude and half an answer. I only go to the store if I can’t get to a Sephora or I know exactly what I want, other than that I can’t be bothered. This location really needs to work on their customer service skills and proper training on their products, I’ve never recommended this location to anyone.
Seem a bit of bad priority as a manager (Melissa) to leave your counter staffed with one person and a full queue to assist one person on the floor. Is that a statement about what those people in line worth as patrons or as people. I would side with the later. Ironically my wife likes going to this place racking up to hundreds dollars in regards. So its not the worth as customers. She did not know their worth as customers. But back to the point i was trying to make. It appears to me the people who were waiting on the line are seen as the lesser and the person on the floor is the worthy. I would think a good manager would want to make everyone feel like they are valued as a customer. It was ridiculous to the point people started putting back items and walking out. Maybe everyone should do the same so Ulta can see that Melissa does not want a inclusiveness and the success of the store. If I was a guessing man, the look of the people on the line did not equate in worth to the person she wanted to help.
My favorite Ulta always clean and staff is great and helpful! Also I got a haircut with Christy she literally turned my messed up hair into the best haircut I’ve ever gotten! Great store!
I like this Ulta a lot. It has a lot of selection from makeup to shampoo to perfume. They also have a hair salon, eyebrow bar and facial spa. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Always clean and now are following all Covid procedures. They always seem to be well stocked. Even at the holidays and when they are having their annual sales of the month. Great location to since there are other shops and lots of parking.
Never had a bad experience at this place! They always have what I’m looking for, weather it being acne products or beauty. Such a convenient location too, right next to a Starbucks.
Everyone who works there is so nice and informative, I love this Ulta Location. The only bad thing that I could say is that the security guard kind of follows you around the store, which is a bit uncomfortable but not a big deal if you’re not up to no good, right? But it is a bit weird, wish he could stop that
They wouldn’t sell me a product unless I give them my cell phone number. I was told that in order to exchange or return any product (that I obviously can’t test in store due to Covid) they need my personal information and and can’t issue a receipt for me without it. I don’t think this is even legal and I will be reporting their business to Consumer affairs.
I didn’t get her name but she had curly hair and complimented my curly hair and then PERFECTLY matched me with foundation which I have been struggling with for years. Thank you so much:) I’ll be back for your help in the summer months!
