Getting our rental was a bit slow, but it wasn't Benjamin's (our agent) fault. They were short-staffed on a Sunday. I get it. I've worked in the service and retail industry before. People get sick/call off and there's not much you can do.
Benjamin was polite, and personable, yet remained professional, despite dealing with multiple waiting customers.

I lucked out and they had the vehicle I wanted for the time length I needed it for. I definitely rolled the dice by not making a reservation, and I'd recommend doing so in the future if possible.

I did need to call once, after getting the rental because it was one of those new-fangled keyless key fobs, and I wasn't aware of it's location (or I missed Benjamin mentioning it to me more than likely), but Benjamin was able to tell me where it was.

I was (at the time of return) ill, so my wife returned the truck for me. It was a smooth and painless process for her. And in my wife's words "it felt too easy". Honestly, that's beyond perfect. Big thanks to Mike and crew at U-Haul Moving and Storage of Watertown for making this an easy and painless process for us.

Made an appointment over the phone for hitch work, told the rep I was driving 1.5 hrs to get there and would wait with the car. Got no reminders so I called and they confirmed my appointment. I show up on time, and they tell me "Sorry we don't have our installer here today. " The guy working said "I could do it, but I have to run pay roll and do a bunch of stuff. " He also claimed he didn't know I was going to wait with the car. I had to cancel everything and drive back home. Total waste of time.

For some reason my mom was charged $150.00 for an insurance claim deductible for a cracked mirror housing, which popped off after their employee went to move the mirror back in place. I went to see the damage and popped the mirror housing back in, as no damage was done to the clips. The manager would not stop the claim from being filed and the corporate office has yet to respond, as these facilities are privately owned. I am extremely disappointed that the manager kept saying it’s JUST $150.00! Easy for you to say when your not on a fixed income and you aren’t being charged a damage fee when their is no damage! I have already contacted the attorney general’s office to file a complaint. My next stop is the better Business bureau, and if I don’t get anywhere with them I will be contacting a lawyer just on principle!

Truck drove very smoothly so that was a big plus. The people at the counter were very friendly but also very helpful. Highly reccomended.

I accidentally selected to return the truck early in the day instead of late. Dude calls me and asks "what am I supposed to tell the gentleman in front of me who is waiting for the truck? " Like I'm the cause for them not having a truck for gentlemen. Won't use ever again.

I would say this is the best place that any Soldiers can ever get when it’s time for them to PCS.trucks, trailers, boxes, storage etc if you need them they have them but best of all is the outstanding customer service that they provide, absolutely unmatched. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Thank you all for helping me and make my stressful pcs less stress!

I've used this Uhaul facility several times for truck rental with zero issues. However, on this most recent use, I reserved 3 u-boxes for a cross-country move. From the second the boxes returned to the center with my things in them, I've had numerous issues. Only 2 of my 3 boxes have shown up on any documentation I've been provided as well as on the Uhaul website. My shipment date was changed 6 times with zero notice to me or updates on what was happening, and now my boxes show as "in storage" rather than being "prepped for shipment". I have been calling the center every hour for 6 days now with zero answer. I've finally gotten through to corporate but they couldn't give me any answers on what is happening with my boxes, only that they are waiting for shipment. I'm not really one to leave reviews but honestly I'm just hoping maybe leaving one will prompt someone from Watertown to actually get in touch with me since I'm no longer in the state.

Wish I could give 0 stars honestly, I sat on hold with this location for almost 40 minutes this morning. I tried to do the online check in and nothing is working and I can't talk to anyone. I don't understand how uhaul is always a pain to work with, different locations, different states, always a miserable experience.

I only gave 1 star because I could not rate any lower. They seem to take 2 hours to watch 60 minutes. The equipment there was filthy, and the lights would not even work. Just a waste of time.

Honestly go with a different company, or refuse to use this U-Haul. We had an absolutely terrible experience with them. If you have no choice but to go through Watertown U-haul, then take measures to inspect the vehicle yourself, thoroughly. Or you might just be stranded halfway to your destination for a while. Good luck!

10/10 would NOT recommend this location! I had an 11am reservation to get a hitch installed and was told it would take 2 hrs max. Called after an hr and a half to get an update and was told they are working on it and was almost done. Called at 1: 10 to see if i could pick up my car and was rudely told no they are working on my car and couldn't give me an estimated time when they would be finished for me to call back in 20 minutes. I get there at 1: 30 and my car had not even been moved from where I left it. I asked to pick up my car and they hand me my keys without even explaining anything so i asked if i could know why my car was not handled and the excuse was the guy to do my car did not get there until 11.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Made a reservation to get a hitch installed on my car. Was told it would take a couple hours, dropped it off at noon. 5pm, still not done. I got dropped off there at 5pm after work and was told 20 more minutes. One hour 45 minutes later a guy comes out and says it's done. It was dark. The next day I notice wires hanging down under my vehicle that weren't there before. They were unsecured. I tried to contact the facility for 3 days, no response. Literally, no one answered the phone. Finally called corporate and made a complaint. To top it off, I drive a rav 4. He has the wires coming up out of the trunk inside the vehicle where the spare tire is stored, not underneath the vehicle. $400 for this.

Dont normally rent trucks but I buy supplies everytime I am in there are always kids running around screaming lines are long the employees look drained this establishment has gone way down Hill
