David is great! We had so much fun on Tara. He is very knowledgeable and fun to hang out with! We did it during sunset and it was crazy beautiful! Highly reccomended.

Overall amazing experience as a surprise proposal for my fiancé! Captains David and Clark answered all my questions and helped make the planning as easy as possible, including recommending a great photographer to work with! The boat was beautiful and the views were awesome. It was a perfect day of sailing on the Hudson, thanks for making our day so special!

Fabulous sail with Captain Clark. He is clearly an expert sailor, was utterly competent handling the boat (which is beautiful) and super responsive to anything I requested - including lining up the boat for a great shot of the Statue of Liberty. My experience on board Tara hit all the right notes for a perfect NYC outing: a unique adventure, spectacular views, a quiet intimate environment, and a fantastic guide. Captain Clark made us feel safe and secure so we could relax, shared some excellent stories about sailing, and then ushered us up front and quietly went about his business so we could enjoy. We had a little picnic on the boat and the whole experience was five stars. Thank you to Tribeca Sailing and Captain Clark for giving us an unforgettable experience- we’ll never see lower manhattan the same way again!

Captain David was an amazing guide and the sail and Tara were an amazing experience. His knowledge of New York and its history is unparalleled. Also the views are incredible. Definitely returning for another sail when back in NY!

I surprised my husband for his birthday a couple weeks ago with a Tribeca Sailing Private Sunset Charter. We boarded the Tara and were welcomed by Captain Clark. We've lived in NYC over 30 years and have never done something like this. We will absolutely repeat this experience. There are no words to describe the peaceful feeling and the freedom of viewing our beloved city from the water. The time out was spectacular and we were super fortunate to have the most epic weather and a great guide in our Captain. He even let the birthday boy take the wheel! A delightful surprise awaited me on my recent trip with Tribeca Sailing. I hadn't personally made the booking – that was a friend's doing. But to my astonishment, as we approached the dock, the legendary Hinckley Pilot 35 was there in all its glory. Captain Matt Beck took the helm for our journey, and his expertise and personable nature made the trip truly special. He was exceptionally welcoming and passionate about sharing the boat's rich history and unique craftsmanship. Coupled with the breathtaking views of New York City's skyline from the water, the experience was nothing short of magical. Tribeca Sailing offers not just a sailing adventure but a blend of luxury, heritage, and intimacy that's truly unmatched. I'm eagerly anticipating my next adventure aboard the Hinckley with Captain Matt leading the way.

I had always wanted to go sailing up the Hudson as I watched the boats from my office on Liberty st. My boyfriend and I finally had the opportunity by taking a 2 hour private cruise. It was amazing! Dave is a terrific captain and great host. The weather was perfect and he got the boat moving a nice speed. It was a very memorable evening. I would highly recommend him and the boat.

Amazing experience! Booked this for a friends birthday and we had the best time! We were running a little late because of traffic and David was super accommodating and understanding. He is great, super knowledgeable and made sure we all had a great time! We were able to bring our own wine and music for the sail - highly recommend!

I booked a nighttime sailboat cruise through tribeca, and I can't recommend this company enough! We had a great experience. It was raining with a chance of thunderstorms, and they watched the radar closely to determine whether it was safe to sail. Booking was simple and easy, and we were able to bring food and drinks on board, which was nice. The actual sail was really fun (due to the wind from the weather) yet relaxing and beautiful. We asked questions about NYC landmarks and the captain was informative and knowledgeable. The tour was really relaxed and informal, which was great. I highly recommend it!

David is a true sailing pro, an excellent tour guide, and an all around good dude. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a ride with him!

I called Captian David in the morning for a last minute private trip with my partner. He was extremely informative and professional. He was able to accommodate me for a private afternoon trip around Manhattan on his beautiful sailboat. The captain of the sailboat was Captain Matt. Captian Matt made my partner and I feel very relaxed and comfortable. We had a wonderful time with Captain Matt. He had a wonderful sense of humor and made the trip very enjoyable. The trip was so enjoyable that I had to call Captain David after the trip and thank him for his exceptional services and inform him that I would be going on future adventures with Captian Matt. We had the most wonderful evening sailing with Dave. The waters around Manhattan is the absolute best way to see the city and learn some history. The boat was beautiful, clean and safe and Dave made the trip so enjoyable with his wit and knowledge. I highly recommend, thanks again for a great night!

What an unforgettable experience! On the advice of friends, who could not have made the sailing trip themselves due to bad weather, we had booked a sunset sailing trip at Tribeca Sailing. We have not regretted this for a moment. Not only was the captain extremely knowledgeable and pleasant, but it was wonderful to see Downtown, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island bathed in the setting sunlight. This is forever on our retina. Doing! And certainly with Tribeca Sailing.

We enjoyed a lovely weather day and sailing tour around NY harbor. Captain Dave was engaging and helpful with interesting details about elements of the landscapes all around us. He runs a pretty boat.

A special and unique way to see some of New York city’s most iconic landmarks. Captain Matt was welcoming and was sure to point out points of interest during our 2 hour tour. The boat was well stocked for your needs including a speaker for music, cups, and remedies for the potential sea sickness. Was truly a special experience!

I booked this experience for my husband’s birthday! The boat ride was so relaxing and enjoyable, and we both learned a bunch of fun facts about New York City even though we are both native New Yorkers! I would highly recommend the experience to anyone looking for a truly peaceful escape from the city for an hour or two!

Our trip was fantastic – we had a really beautiful sail to Ellis Island and the views were incredible. Our tour guide was really charismatic and entertaining and knowledgeable, and we all had a great time!

Even with the misty rain, it was a super special experience! (They have rain jackets). Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close, having the sun go down and the city lights shine ethereally through the mist… it was an amazing experience!

Had a 2 hour tour on about as perfect a day for sailing as you could hope for and Captain David and Tara didn't disappoint. Easy to book, easy to get to, and got to see all the sights we hoped to see. Got some great photos. Captain David is so much fun, and full of great stories and history. Pricing for a private sail for 3 around lower Manhattan was very reasonable.
