Tip Top Shoes

Excellent selection and service. Came in about a week or so ago when it was so cold that my everyday boots weren’t cutting it. Salesperson was extremely helpful in bringing out options and narrowing down which Uggs would suit my day to day needs. I’m very happy with my purchase and the two employees who helped me select and checkout went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Melvin your the best. You made yet again my husband joseph and myself experience great. We got birkenstocks insoles and socks this time. Mr. Melvin is very knowledgeable in the products and the store. Overall the experience as always is great and will always come back. Thank you.

Awful customer service the woman I spoke to was very rude and not very helpful when the problem was on their end.

I drove in from Westchester after reading reviews about the store and was not disappointed. Harold took such great care of me! His 32 years of experience ensured I was able to get a waterproof boot that will surely last for years. The entire team made my shopping experience so pleasant. I will definitely be back to see Z and her staff again!

I found tasman uggs that i’ve been looking for weeks and my mom found out online that they were at this store and we ran here and found they had my size too this absolutely made my day and tbe worker harold was so nice and funny and the staff in general were so nice defo recommend it here!

My fiancé bought me some New Balance shoes through this company for Christmas. He ORDERED the correct size which was a 7 in Men’s. However, they shipped whatever size to us. The label the company put on the box states the correct size meaning what he ordered was absolutely correct. The new balance original shoe box says 5.5 in men’s and 7 in women’s. They put the correct label on the wrong size shoe box and shipped that to us. He placed a whole new order with the correct size AGAIN to ensure I got the shoes ASAP and even called asking to confirm the correct label is on the correct size and they treated him as if it were his fault and refused to help him stating it was busy. They even said “you’re taking too long on the phone” Kept getting transferred back and forth. Our orders have been cancelled and we will take our business somewhere else. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Please don’t shop with this company they will waste your time.

I've been shopping at Tip Top for years but was especially impressed this week when I went in looking for an Ugg for my daughter that's sold out everywhere. I was told they were getting a shipment in the coming days and were taking names for the waitlist. They took my daughter's shoe measurement, advised on size and I put my name on the list. The next day I stopped in and was told they had received the shipment but were methodically going through the waitlist before releasing any which I really appreciate. Sure enough I got the call, paid over the phone and picked up the shoes at my convenience.

I've always found the sales people at the store extremely attentive and accommodating. They have a practical selection of shoes and I'm always greeted with a hello, a smile and an offer to help. It's so nice to be able to go into a shoe store and get great service and be able to try things on. Let's support our few remaining independently owned stores and not be faced with having to buy everything online!

I love this place! They never disappoint with the most helpful staff. I went in looking for a very hard to find pair of shoes right before Christmas, and within a couple of days they called me and found them. Best part- they were genuinely excited WITH me because I was so excited. Thank you to Zee and team! You are my 100% go-to!

Wow, it’s amazing service. I messed up my online order, walked into the store and the awesome staff had me sorted and out the door with my shoes within 15 minutes of entering the store.

I called and to ask if they stocked non-slip shoes and Harold told me their options. They have a wide selection of shoes meant for work or fashion. I did not see any high end brands here, so that isn’t that type of store. The staff are friendly. You can return shoes within ten days for a full refund if not worn. My visit was out of the way but definitely worth it.

Amazing customer service from Harold and the rest of the staff. I walked in with foot problem and walked out with two pairs of shoes and heel/arch inserts that made my feet feel better than they have since my foot problem began 7 months ago. Immediate relief. No pressure. Lots of space and time to sit and try on shoes. It was fun and very satisfying experience. If you have any foot issues give this place a try.

I used to love Tip Top shoes but recently had a terrible experience. I went in expecting the usual care and attention from the associates. However, it took nearly 5 minutes of standing around to even be acknowledged despite the store not being crowded. I also expected more knowledge from the associates, but all I received was a rushed push to buy buy buy. After feeling pressure and buying a pair of shoes, I was unhappy with my purchase and attempted to return the shoes. However, I was essentially laughed at and was treated really rudely by the check-out lady. Really disappointed that this (former) local gem laughed a very sour taste in my mouth.

Tip Top Shoes truly deserves a 5-star rating. Perfect place to find both quality footwear and genuine customer service. One of their salesman, Harold Dominicci, consistently offers exceptional assistance. Not only is he super helpful and knowledgable when you need a pair of shoes, but it's always just a pleasure seeing him and having him be a part of the UWS community. Even when we're not shopping at Tip Top, he invites us in to give our dog, Merv, treats and affection. Harold and the rest of the Tip Top Shoes staff are the BEST!

Unfortunately agree with the other reviews here about rude service or being completely ignored when you go in the store.
