Very timely, on top of things, & helpful. Such cute packaging and storefront too which is an extra bonus

My dermatologist recommended this pharmacy. It's been such a breeze! They handled all the prior authorization for my insurance. And gave very reasonable prices on prescriptions that insurance wouldn't cover.

Surprisingly the prescriptions I got from 3rd Ave Apothecary were far cheaper than Duane Reade. Love that you can communicate with representatives via text message - super convenient. Delivery service was also awesome (fast and reliable). I would highly recommend this pharmacy.

Best pharmacy/customer service you can find in the city.

This is my second time use their service. First time my derm told me about NimbleRX and sent my prescription to Third Ave. Within a hour they have my order ready and sent it to my address. The items all came at very reasonable price.

This week I visited a new derm and specified NimbleRX to use Third Ave again. At around 6pm just when I thought I need to wait another day, the store called/texted me after business hours to let me know they will ship the medication right away and have it delivered by 10pm. I got my prescription at 9: 30pm with all items nicely packed and labeled. After applying the medicine my skin condition instantly improved.

Will come back again. Thank you thank you thank you!

I had a bad expeprience a few weeks ago but soon thereafter the owner called me apologizing for the inconvenience and volunteering to personally deal with future orders. I decided to try again and it worked perfectly. I have to acknowledge they tried hard to fix the problem and deserves recognition

Was referred to here from my derm and and the experience from doctor to pharmacy was so seamless. They worked with my insurance and texted when the prescription was filled and ready to be delivered. And they deliver to JC! Great service and prices for generic prescriptions

Unfortunately was unreliable! They ‘missed’ my prescription that the Dr sent. Had to call them to find out where my prescription is and the person on the phone was rude

UPDATE: I'm moving them up to 3 stars for 1 reason.the owner called me after this review alerted him to my experience, and gave me an earnest and heartfelt apology and let me know he would go above and beyond for me should I choose to use them in the future. That goes a long way if you're running a service-based business. That being said, while I'd love to be able to give them a 5-star review, the fact remains that my experience is still my experience here. Perhaps I will (warily) give them another shot down the road after their kinks have been worked out and addressed.

Horrible horrible HORRIBLE. I don't understand all the 5 star reviews here. This place is the most disorganized service I've ever seen. Deliveries don't show up, or get delivered to the wrong apartment #s, or get rescheduled day-of, etc etc. I've had a standing monthly delivery for the same prescription to the same address for 6 months and somehow they manage to screw it up every single time. Not once have they gotten it right, and they said it's a "known issue" that they are working on with their courier service. Really? It's been half a year. I'm done wasting my time calling in and trying to solve your errors 3rd Ave Apothecary. Switching to Capsule.

Excellent pharmacy, they worked with my insurance and let me know right away when one Rx was not covered. The delivery was quicker than expected and accurate - same day. Highly recommend.

Sooooo this place is like going to a fancy clothing store, but for medication. I thought someone was going to take my hat and coat when I walked in lol. The people here are very friendly and helpful. I wish all pharmacies were as plush as this. If you can get your prescription me filled here, you should! It’s fancy!

I recently started going to a dermatologist and they recommended this specialty pharmacy instead of my usual CVS and it’s a decision I’d never regret! Even during these crazy COVID-19 times, this experience was such a smooth one!

They filled my prescription in literally 10 minutes, called my insurance for 2 of them that needed preauthorization and kept me informed every step so I didn’t feel like I was waiting around for nothing.

Everyone had masks on, there was a comfortable place to wait, and it was extremely clean! Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful experience!

Obsessed with this place. They always find coupons for my prescriptions, answer the phone so fast, and deliver my medications same day. I will never use a Duane Reade or CVS ever again. Thank you guys!

Speedy, efficient, friendly service. Usually, my prescriptions take ages for approval and much back and forth between my doctor and health insurance. Alli at Third Avenue Apothecary got it done in the same day without me having to call my doctor or insurance to sort things out! Amazing! So pleased to finally find a great pharmacy. Third Avenue Apothecary is the best pharmacy I’ve ever used. The staff go above and beyond to help you obtain your medication at the most affordable price. They even actively resolve issues with your insurance so that you don’t need to deal with that stress. I’m so thankful my doctors recommended them to me.

Worst experience ever. A simple delivery has been delayed multiple times without any explanation or excuse provided. They take ages to allow an order for a prescription that reaches them and blame their own delivery service affiliates (Nimble Rx) which blames them for the delay.

Such amazing service. No wait time when calling, no being put on hold, easy to get Prescriptions sent from doctor, great and friendly staff. Only good things to say! Appreciate this over main stream drug store pharmacy

Alli helped me in a moment of distress where I needed a prescription filled before a trip and I misplaced my insurance card. She was so kind, patient, competent and helpful. I will return to this lovely spot for skin care needs. It was a pleasure to visit!

Communication is always efficient and quick. They keep in touch via text or by calling which is very convention. Overall this is a great way to get youe medications. They are delivered to you quickly which definitely beats travelling to your local pharmacy and waiting in line.

Third Ave apothecary is very different from a regular pharmacy. They carry very nice skin care products and sell lovely scented candles. I enjoy coming here to pick up my prescriptions and also to check out new products. They also offer same day delivery of prescriptions within Manhattan. Their staff, particularly Alli, are courteous, attentive, and kind. I recommend this pharmacy as they also offer good coupons and sales.

My eye surgeon highly recommended them, they had what I needed & were willing to mail it to my home ASAP, so I gave them a try. I'm nearly 80 & have run my own international business for 60 years, so I really get around & have more than a bit of perspective. They are simply wonderful! The best I have ever dealt with. Every one of the several people I spoke to there had a cordial, helpful attitude, was knowledgeable & answered all my questions. They called back immediately or when requested to, got the meds to me ASAP, which is very important, but the real shock came when I got the bill: HALF what my local druggists would have charged me in my less affluent neighborhood. I'm sticking with them for life (what's left of it.) for anything they can supply.

This is the first time I had a conflict getting my prescription and there was a resolution. When my doctor prescribed a medical cream that my insurance needed an approval for, Third Ave Apothecary came to the rescue. They called and sent me a text letting me know that my RX was ready, but also had it delivered to my house. Not only that, they were genuinely concerned to bring out a good resolution. It really meant a lot to me because his medical cream was for my acne. A problem that I have had for years. Thank you to taking care. ️

This place was recommended to me by my dermatologist because they carry a brand-name drug I take. I ended up having both my prescriptions sent there and I was very happy with the results. They communicated well, had a coupon to help me save on the brand name drug, and the prescriptions were delivered super quickly. I also love being able to chat with the pharmacist online rather than having to call when I'm at work.
