Sadly I can’t recommend Paulo and Boutique by Brae. Despite providing extensive references, my color ended up being far too blonde with chunky foils instead of the natural look I was looking for. Even with a correction, I am still unhappy with the color. The most upsetting thing is I have very healthy hair and was adamant about maintaining hair health even if it means not going as blonde as I’d like - I felt this was ignored and instead my hair is incredibly blonde and now the most damaged it’s been in years. Additionally, for the a $700 price tag I expect a premium service. For the entire 7 hours I was there (Paulo was running an hour late when I arrived) I received one tiny plastic bottle of water and was working between multiple clients and generally disorganised. Disappointing service overall.

Paulo is the best hair stylist I have found in NYC for color and extensions! I have been coming to this salon for just about 2 years and could not recommend it higher. My color always looks perfect, naturally blonde, and I have had no damage with my tape ins!

100/10. Paulo is professional and magical at the same time!
I got so many compliments on my hair and I was so happy when I left.
I already booked my next visit!
