Tallman's Express Lube

They didn't put oil in my truck. Before I realized that is what happened as zi live close to the this business, I ended up taking it a mechanic. Finally I figured out what happened and the manager of this business said it they were no longer liable because the mechanic assumed liability, despite he didn't check oil because the scan showed a sensor. This manager is a blame shifting jerk and approached me with an attitude when I was nothing but calm until that point. I plan to tell wveryone about what a drag he is. He could of at least been professional.

Very dissatisfied with my oil change! Paid $98.93 and they didn’t even complete the list that they checked off! Will not be returning! Charged me for extra oil. Never reset my oil light! Did not fill my washer fluid! I wasn’t there for 10 minutes! Also, spoke in Spanish and could not understand a word they were saying!

Pricey and very picky on what they'll do for your a basic oil change. Apparently oil is not oil anymore, you'd think it was rocket science. I for one am done with them. JM

I made the mistake of not going here for an oil change like I normally do. I ran into an issue on a new car that shouldn’t have happened and the place that did the oil change as well as the dealer I bought the car from were of no help! Manager Dante and his staff were awesome to step in and help! He explained everything thoroughly and said never hesitate to contact with any issues! More than pleased.

If I could give it less I would! This review is long overdue! They broke something on my car which caused oil to completely wreck my garage and driveway! I take it to the shop they recommended to fix it & then in order to get a refund I had to argue with the man over the phone. That was AFTER I had brought it back to them & “they didn’t see any thing wrong” Not professional & then when I came in for my refund the man who broke it was making jokes about it right infront of me. Unbelievable.

Used Tallmens for years now for my oil changes I will never go back. They broke my oil cooler and said it was wear and tear. I would agree with that if i didnt replace it less thank a year ago.

Went for a oil change two weeks later trucks in shop no oil pressure tried changing sensor nothing then tried new oil filter and problem solved time before they negotiated to put oil cap on will not return again

We came here because the dealership said there would be a 3 week wait to get an oil change. They took us right in and everything was done in a little over 20 minutes. Nick and Eric were very professional and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this place.

My husband went to get his oil changed and they told him that he had a leak and a dented oil pan, so they wouldn’t change his oil until he bought a new pan. He just had his fluids changed a couple months ago with no issues. He checked under his car and didn’t see anything wrong so he went to another shop down the road. They said he had no leaks and no dents. Absolutely ridiculous.

Excellent staff! Loved the window clean and air in my tires, as well as speedy oil change service. Extremely professional and courteous! They gave me valuable advice about items Tallman’s Express wouldn’t directly profit from. They truly had my best interests in mind, and wanted to see me keep my vehicle on the road for years to come. Ed and his team were wonderful. He was efficient and effective during an oil change, waving my car much better than when I first came in. I highly recommend his team for any, if not all, of your auto needs.

No one there till 8: 20, the day before waited 25 minutes in line with 1 car in shop. Finally just left. I bring 3 trucks and one car and I will be looking elsewhere, p.s. I have been coming there a long time, the guys are nice but talk to much and are very slow if I wanted to spend 35 minutes doing an oil change I would do it myself

They stated I had a massive oil leak, which was untrue, I would have noticed any oil leak, then said I had to have full synthetic because it was a VW, I never used synthetic oil before, shouldn’t that be an option? Very unprofessional, I backed out and went elsewhere, where they didn’t see any oil leak, just dirt and grime, being an older car.

These guys were extremely helpful, professional, and very fast (went during lunch break, had plenty of time afterwards). Walmart refused to work on my oil change because something was too tight for them, these guys had no issues. Will only ever go here for all future oil changes.

Got penzoil ultra 10000 mile oil change a little pricey but great staff professional had my car in and out in under 15 min

I received excellent service from Duane on December 15,2020. Not only was he able to assist me with my oil change, but he made me aware of a problem with my vehicle. After a short discussion regarding my recent experience while driving, he highly suggested having vehicle checked out as he and his crew noticed a potential problem. Since the pandemic began, I am no longer driving daily, and my vehicle sits several days at a time. His opinion, expertise, service and personality were the greatest value I received during my visit. My wife and I typically get our oil changes at the shop in the winter months, while I handle the rest of year. Because of this experience I am considering making those visit more often to ensure that vehicle is able to stay on the road. Thank you Duane!

Normally have a great experience. Recent person may have been having a bad day. Hey, It happens. Otherwise, I was in and out in like 12 minutes.

The employees did a great job. Very professional and courteous. Service was fast and thorough. They even were nice enough to mention I had another issue underneath the car, and fixed it. After everything was completed, i pulled away, and heard something that was not there before, and pulled back around and mentioned it to the employees. They told me to come back in the bay and they fixed it immediately. Very satisfied with the service and quick fix. Would definitely recommend their service.

Horrible horrible place. I gave them a chance again after them screwing my air filter up in my chevy and once again they disapointed me. Do not get service from them. They lied and joked about ZIP TIEING my metal skid plate under my car. I would never recommend them. They are nothing but a joke. If I could give them - 5 stars I would.

Just visited the express lube in New Hartford today. Service was quick and the guys were OK as far as being polite, but at the end of the service I asked how my air filter was because I hadn’t seen them check it. Thankfully the attendant was honest and said let me double check it - I didn’t even look at it - and in the end it was OK. But checking the air filter is on the list of things that are supposed to be happening for that service. Also included on the service checklist is washed windows which they listed is complete. Unfortunately they never touched my windows and I didn’t think about saying anything. What else did they not do if they didn’t check my air filter and they didn’t wash my windows? Our family goes there all the time but this time was unfortunately subpar.
