STK Steakhouse Downtown NYC

It’s a regular steakhouse with regular steaks and regular sides. But Jeffrey was really attentive and super considerate of my party. Ask for him when you go.

The food was delicious, every single bite, and we shared this platter among 4 people. Music was young and fun, vibe was cool as well lots of 30 to 40 year Olds. I would definitely go back!

My server Jeffery was amazing. He came to the table often and had great recommendations, he made sure things were refilled before having to ask. His hospitality was enough to make me return. My entree was tasty and the strawberry lemon drop icing on the cake.

This restaurant was 1 of 3 options given to me by my boyfriend to pick from to go, for my birthday. I picked STK because I wanted some good steak and was told they had some good ones.

Our reservation was at 7pm, got there late but since it was a Thursday it was not busy. We were given the option to seat outdoors or stay inside. They even allowed us to wonder around so we can make a fitting choice. We wanted so bad to sit outdoors but it was so HOTTTTT no type of cooling (fans). We end up going back inside.

The waiter was very pushy. He was rushing us to order, like can we enjoy our drinks and chat please.

We ordered the Tuna tartar for starter. Our entree was the porterhouse with truffle butter, lobster Mac&cheese, truffle fries.

The tuna tartar was amazing, I am not a fan of tuna but I enjoyed the flavor in the dish.

The steak was delicious, but they didn’t come melt the butter off with the torch.

Lobster Mac had no lobsters like for a $32 small dish lobster Mac you’d think they actually put some lobsters in there. When I call the waiter over, he said, it’s more of a flavored taste. What? Did you guys just washed the lobster and boiled the pasta in it? Am confused! I told him he can take it back. Truffle fries were oily oily oily and saggy. Unacceptable! So we ended up eating just the steak. It was very disappointing. We’re not drinker but it was my birthday I had two glasses of wine and my boyfriend had 1 shot of tequila. $330 for a less than mid birthday dinner. Never again!

STK is one of my favorite restaurants and I absolutely love the vibe of the Downtown Manhattan location! The music, the food, the decor, and the service are all top tier. Our waiter Kevin was so accommodating and he made sure that my family and I were well taken care of. The General manager, Michael, also introduced himself to our table and periodically checked in with us. The restaurant is a little pricey but it’s worth every penny!
