Great place. Came for a trailer inspection. Lot is really tight for a trailer (and mine was only a 5 x 8) so I parked where it was comfortable for me to and they came out to where I was to do the inspection. 10 minutes in and out.

Was friendly, to the point and informative. Will come here again for sure when my camper is up for inspection.

Steve Shannon has been my go-to Tire and Auto Shop since I moved to Ithaca back in 2021. They have always helped me and treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. And their prices are very reasonable. It’s always a pleasure to do business with them and I recommend all of my friends with car needs to them.

Ithaca. Great service, reasonably priced. Yes, they are busy.that is the best indicator of the how they perform and their dedication to their customers. Dan and Rob are great to deal with.

I am a college student here in Ithaca and was just looking to get an oil change at Good Year. They told me my car was un-driveable and were going to charge me over $1700 to fix it. I towed my car to Trombley’s instead. They found an alternative solution and I paid less than $100 for my car to be fixed. They are honest, good people who are truly looking out for you and your family. I strongly recommend Trombley’s for all your car needs.

Really personable and friendly staff that definitely come off as being on your side. A woman in front of me had a quote from another shops for $600. The Trombley employee looked over the estimate and said, “I mean yeah, we can charge you that much if we did all this stuff you don’t need, but all you really need is “this” which will cost you just over $100”.

Trombley in Ithaca and Penn Yan both provide consistently exceptional and professional service. The Ithaca location is superior in terms of auto repair shops in town and is the only place to consider when your vehicle is in need of repair. Fair pricing and extremely friendly and helpful employees, and generally able to help quickly even during busy times/holidays.

Trombley has literally saved my life. I am a student here and coming from California with a BMW was super stressful. To preface, my BMW is quite old and is in a constant state of things coming to the end of their useful lives. There are no dealerships nearby and it has not been a problem for me; Trombley has been able to help me with absolutely every issue I have come to them with. They have extremely fair pricing and always have been reliable. They have helped me with replacing wheel bearings, routine oil changes and windshield wiper replacements, new tires, hood lifts, new battery, sunroof drainage, rotor and brake pad replacement, and more. I highly recommend for Cornell and Ithaca College students, especially for women. These guys will not take advantage of you or try to hustle you. Always can count on them to keep me on the road and keep my car running safely!

Best tire shop repair place around and are so kind. Had a tire leak on vacation, didn’t even call and pulled into the shop and they took it immediately and fixed the tire and were extremely courteous and kind! Highly recommend.

My wife and I have been very satisfied customers of Trombley Tire's Ithaca location for many years. They are always responsive, courteous, accommodating, informative, and flexible in dealing with their customers. We moved away to Maine for a year and could only hoped to find a shop as super as Trombley is (we did!), but it was a huge relief to return to Ithaca and to count on Trombley again. In our most recent interaction over a detached bumper thanks to a minor deer collision, they took the car into the shop, finished the job in about a half hour, and sent me on my way-to my huge surprise-without having to pay for the repair. How could we not be loyal to and supportive of such great service!

Literally pulled into their lot with no power steering as my car filled with smoke. They helped out in every way and I had plenty of time to decide what to do with my poor old Focus. Many thanks!

Perhaps they USED to be good.but the "new: management are scammers.they ripped off my friend horribly - on an insurance repair, they installed used parts that didn't even work, and dragged out the "repair" endlessly. Had to be fixed by someone else. Lies, and BS. I would not reccomend them even for putting air in my tires.one star is way too high.

I have taken all my cars over the years to Trombley on state st. They have always given me an honest answer and fair prices. This has been true for over 20 years. I highly recommended them.
