They had poor customer service and were very rude. Wouldn’t feel comfortable having them work on my car considering how they couldn’t answer a couple simple questions without giving bad attitude.

Will not go back again. I felt I was overcharged for a service on an old car. Spent over $1000 for a service that I could spent less at another place & wanted to charge me close to $900 for a radiator job that I had done for half that amount at another shop.

Came in with a simple wheel vibration and was told it wasn't the case. I was told and had a battery change & code search but when I left. The codes were reset & a "so called" safety check was done. But nothing was done or even notated in regards to my issue. In regard to a slow tire (a worn tire) but the problem actually got worse. The vibration after this visit actually persisted much worse than before. And when I spoke to the owner of the business & spoke on this instead of helping a customer that has given alot of business. I was hung up as she said she would. Citing a doctors appointment for the reason. Steer clear of this fast talking Owner Wendy. Whose mechanics cause problems from lack of knowledge eventhough they are introduced as prominent mechanics from reputable shops. This guy said he was going to change my battery and read codes bit I walked into the repair bay & found my car on the lift & him working on my in the back, (thinking differential) and my car has been worst ever since. And this is after myself asking what's wrong that your working on that part. But yet I was told nothing was wrong & my codes were reset. And I've havent still been told that anything associated with the minor tire vibration I came in with was wrong & neither has the dealerships I've went to besides tires & balance. Again the problem is worst & the extra "work" done angers the owners & this is documented.

Best auto repair shop in NY state. You will be treated like family and will truly appreciate the quality of their work. Star Quality is the ONLY shop I trust with my bmw's. Thank you

I went in for a quick inspection. Initially, I noticed the lot was empty, but proceeded anyway. Upon entering, you’re met with an instant sense of displeasure. The receptionist, a homeless looking woman, snaps at you, seemingly upset she has to do something, and deep freezes you all at once. I asked for an inspection and offered to pay, assuming it would be quick. I made a mistake and took my debit card out too quickly and received a stern “well I guess I have to do that again, ” from the receptionist, who seemed overwhelmed by a phone call and stapler. I waited for a long time in an empty shop, while nothing happened, when the receptionist started whispering to someone in a hidden room. After the giant pit bull was finished making certain I smelled ok, the cat came out to let me know he was boss, and I overheard that the printer for the inspection was not working. A simple, “we’re sorry we’re having issues, please be patient” would have been the professional and correct approach. However, instead, the homeless looking women summoned a tiny women, whose stature was more than overcompensated by a ton of pancake make-up, wrinkles and hair pulled so tightly, it had to be the explanation of her mental illness. She had a total meltdown; she stomped, shouted and was so irrational, I asked for my car and high-tailed it out of there as fast as possible. This clown show was fodder for an Alfred Hitchcock film, for sure. Stay away. No one cares about this business. They do not have the heart for small business ownership. That requires a desire to build within the community. They lack respect for their customer, professionalism, communicational acumen and the ability to do the job. That’s why the lot is empty.

Wendy, Dena and the crew at Star Quality Auto have kept my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee on the road for several years. I bought the car from a dealer and unbeknownst to me it had several issues, all of which Wendy and the crew have gotten me through without a hitch. This includes guiding me through the complicated insurance claim's process. When I'm in the shop it feels like I'm one of the family. Wendy's knowledge is far superior to other places and she is more than willing to take the time to explain what is wrong and how it'll be fixed. I love the place, but the fact that my wife has given it her stamp of approval speaks volumes. She drives a BMW and according to her it's the first place she has actually felt respected as an individual and not judged because she was a woman in a car repair shop. If you're looking for a place in the area I assure you this is the place for you.

I have been going to Star Quality for many years now and I would and do recommend everyone to go see them for the best car care around. The staff is always willing to go that extra mile and to me that means so much. As a mom of two young children I can count on Wendy and her entire staff when I have questions, need basic repairs, oil change, or an amazing detail, they do it all!

Having changed parts on cars for 40+ years, I Know that things don't always go as planned.
But I'm Not a professional! When I need an honest, professional job done that I can't do myself, I call Star Quality auto Center.
I'm lucky that I live nearby and never had a bad experience. I would recommend to anyone!

Took my car here for an oil leak picked it up at noon on a Friday by Saturday morning I was left stranded on the side of the road had to have it towed to star quality only to find out I had "water damage " how convenient.but luckily the "insurance pays for it" I was told prior that since I had a luxury vehicle that if anything else happened she would lend me one of the loaner vehicles (that never happened). I came in to get some items out of my car and left my keys on the counter for a quick second. I get home only to realize that Dan had taken my spare car key off my key ring.my experience was not pleasant at all and honestly I felt like I was taken advantage of

The attention detail and the work they do at Star Quality is top notch. I've taken my cars there for oil changes, details, brakes, tire rotation and more and nothing but great things. Pricing is very fair. It's close to where I work so I can drop off the car and know it's going to be in good hands. They have a drop box. I'm glad that I found a place that I can trust with my car as there are other places that try to take advantage of you.

Wendy is an amazing person and is willing to work with you to get the best price for a car and has great prices for services. Staff is amazing. Always respectful and professional. They work hard and fast for whatever your cars needs. If you have a Mercedes, you should definitely take it to her. I recently totaled my 2007 Toyota Corolla last Wednesday. She help me and my family find a 2013 honda civic and lets me choose a decent monthly payment. Wendy and her staff do a fantastic job.

Nices people I have ever met, needed an inspection but had the engine light on. They cleared it, told me to put 25 miles on the car come back and they would check it. Went back I did need a sensor, but at least they tried to see if they cleare the light first.
Would recommend to anyone who needs a auto shop for repairs. VERY HONEST!

Requested “only oem” parts be put on my car. After a brake change I noticed a shimmy when I pressed on the brakes. I brought the car back to Star Quality several times complaining of the issue. Took the car back to Star Quality and they could not figure out why. I then took my car for a second opinion to a BMW dealership servicing center. They told me the issue is the “after market brakes and roaters”. Frurious to say the least. Wendy prides herself on being cheaper in cost than a dealership! She is cheaper buy only in quality work.
