Stack's Auto Service & Tire - North Babylon

Had my first experience with Stack's Auto Service & Tire and it won't be my last. I thought incredible service and communication were things of the past. This team was amazing, professional, courteous, and complete gentleman. Brought them a Jeep with a few good challenges, mechanical and electrical. They diagnosed all issues in the same day, explained everything in detail and probably would have had it back to me same day if the parts were available. Can't THANK them enough. Jeep is running fantastic! Cheers!

I had the pleasure of walking into this location early one morning to get my 2005 Honda CRV looked at. I just recently purchased this vehicle and had some things that needed looking into. Met with TJ inside the shop he was very helpful. He walked out to my car with me as I explained what I was interested in getting done. Left the car there and got a call from TJ a few hours later. The mechanic Dean looked over the car completely and they recommended a few things to be repaired. TJ was very professional I didn’t feel pressured to spend any money, after his suggestions I went ahead and got the car fixed.

My car for sure has a new home for all of its future maintenance.

Stacks and their employees are the most professional and courteous group of professionals I have ever encountered. They are first and foremost honest and knowledgeable. They are willing to stand by their work and have made repairs that they didn't have to do since installed parts were at fault, further cementing my trust in them. I always recommend them to friends and family. They also offer a ride home when you drop off your car. That is a nice service and helps alleviate stress I can not give them enough praise. After my tire blowing out and having been towed to this establishment, the employees worked fast and efficiently through “rush hour” times to get all four of my tires replaced to ensure my safety. 3 ND time I had my truck in for service, and I have to say they do a great job, they are pricey but you do get what you pay for, and in today's world that is rare, they made my truck feel new and its 15 years old, glad they were recommended to me by my neighbor, well worth the money, nice disposition too

I have used Stacks Auto Service on several occasions now after my son recommended them. I had been driving back to my hometown for 20 years to use the only mechanic I had ever had. I am very happy with their service and honestly and would highly recommend them for your vehicle needs.

Stack’s crew replaced the Oil Cooler Housing, did an oil change, spark plugs, etc. I have been going here for the last 4 years and I am quite happy with their service. These guys are awesome and I highly recommend them.

The guys at Stacks are fantastic. Always a friendly greeting that puts you at ease, excellent knowledge and quality work. I had a headlight that needed replacing. Suggested best bet was to purchase inexpensive headlight assembly and they’d gladly install. Little bit of work on my end but saved me thousands in the end. I’ll be back!

I can’t say enough good things about Stacks! I’ve had both regular maintenance tasks (oil changes, etc.) and larger tasks (breaks) done on my car here over the past year and each time I’ve felt good about both the quality of work done and my interaction with the guys. They are thorough and honest. I highly recommend this auto service shop!

Blew out a tire from a pothole. TJ was excellent in looking at the damage, getting the exact tire replacement and inspecting the car, they provided a courtesy ride to and from the shop. Excellent excellent service

These guys are my new go to guys I had a flat I doctors appointments in 20 minutes and they took us right in and took great care of us. Then we went back needed an inspection, tire rotation oil change, and we were there at 8 AM and they took us right in, they were awesome my father on the gas station for 20 years they reminding me of the service he provided for his people

Went out to my car and it wouldn't start called Stacks who came to my house and jumped the car and drove it to their shop. All I had to do was pick the car up and pay for a new battery. Great service.

I needed tires on the day I was leaving on vacation and they came through as promised. Nice people, very professional and most importantly they keep their word which is rare in the automotive world.

TJ and his crew are a great bunch of guys service was amazing will continue to use them in the future will also recommend them to friends and relatives.

T. J, Jake and the gang took the car in for a repair to both front axels and found out that the driver's side front hub and bearing also had to be replaced. Though the cost came out to $2k+ they were very honest and even put the car on the lift to show me what was wrong. Thanks to them, I found out about SNAP financing which allowed me to get the reapit done. After they replaced everything there was a metal on metal sound which turned out to be a backing plate which they readjusted for no charge. Highly competent and professional, my car has not driven this well in years, Stacks my new garage. Highly recommend!

Everyone at stacks is friendly and extremely helpful, they definitely are professional and know the in and outs of all area of mechanics, they get the job done and don’t add on a bunch of additional BS that’s not necessary like other places to jack up the overall cost. I got stuck with a flat tire on my way to a funeral and the guys at Stack’s were amazing. They came and towed my car right away, managed to find a new, matching tire, and changed it so quickly that I still made the wake. They were also very friendly and nice. I couldn’t recommend them more!
