I parked my car here while staying at a nearby hotel. The overall experience was excellent: check-in was speedy, and I only waited 10 minutes for my car after checking out. There were plenty of employees on both occasions. When I retrieved my car, they prioritized returning cars to clients before handling new ones, which was a stark contrast to other people's experiences.
Do not recommend. Poor service. You will stand around waiting for your car for at least a half hour. You will also see people that arrive after you get their car before you too.
This garage is notorious for poor service and ridiculous wait times…Look at their reviews, they all say the same thing! Should be ashamed of themselves.
The check-in process was stressful - very backed up on a cramped street (not a fun way to kick off vacation). I’m not sure if they were understaffed (seemed to me that they were) but it took nearly 30 minutes after being 4 cars back waiting to get in…I’d give a star for that experience. I had to ask twice how the process worked as the main guy handling folks was clearly overwhelmed. Getting our car back days later was the opposite experience with plenty of staff and everyone being super helpful…validated parking from the Hilton was $50/24-hour period. Car was retrieved in less than 10 minutes and ready for us (would give 4 stars). Very different experiences based off demand and staffing it seemed but this SHOULD be a great place to park given its location and elevator system.
I am a native New Yorker and this may be the worst parking garage in all of Manhattan. I waited 30 minutes to get my car at 9: 30pm on a Thursday night. One guy working the shift. $75 for the day. Do not park here.
Takes extremely long to retriever the car. Staff patronising. Cars retriever in order of da out with the Customers - not in order the check was turned in.
Perfect robot parking. Nobody touch your car. You park it in the bin, the robot put the bin in the parking. The robot gives your car in the reverse direction to go out of the parking lot. You didn’t have to back up. You get out forward. Absolutely awesome!
I am reaching out because I have had a poor experience parking at your structure at 38 W. 46th Street. The individuals who I have interacted with are Syed Hussain, the manager, and Pierre Michaud, the valet driver. I turned in my car and our agreement based on the ticket I received was that there was 0 damage to the vehicle. Upon receipt of my car, there were dings and scratches in my car that I had never noticed before. Pierre Michaud and Syed Hussain were reluctant to help and deferred me to putting in a claim, and am now telling me they cannot help because they didn't park the car in a location that could have caused damage. Once again, our contractual agreement indicates that my car had no damage and upon receipt of my car, there were newly found damage not originally indicated.
