Was hit with an outrageous amount for services that I never received because of me choosing to take my car somewhere else due to me not agreeing with the 2-3 week time frame of them fixing a simple tail light and one side of my bumper. Being physically threatened and charged almost 3k for my car being there for 13 days while an agreement was reached is what I was hit with and some. I don’t recommend for anyone to take there car here at all for any purpose. You’ll have some truly unprofessional individuals to deal with.

For no work been done I was almost charged $3000 and threatened to be punched on my face because I was asking why I’m being charged $3000. My car was there for 13 days and after that time they tell me, the repair will take up to 3 weeks, which I did not agree to because I need this car for my work. Do not bring your services here unless you want to be scammed.

Sonny’s Collision Specialist, really hold true to serving the community with care, respect, and skill. Not only have I been searching high and low for an auto body shop, I feel like I walked into a family of precessional who get the job done. Quick yet outstanding mechanics and superb customer service! I want to shout out Pat especially for being patient with me and helping me work out the problem. My rear bumper had become slightly loose because of getting banged. And these guys in 10 minutes screwed it back on and didn't charge me a thing. They are great!

I can’t say enough good things about the service I received from SONNYs. When two other roadside assist companies failed to tow my car after two days of them making me wait hours and hours only to come and say they couldn’t get my car on a flatbed because it was missing a wheel, Robert at SONNYs said he could get to me in a half hour and was true to his word. Everything about Robert and everyone at SONNYs was professional, competent and customer centered. The absolute best experience after a terrible one. Would recommend to anyone needing auto body services.

They assured us they would take care of everything, from dealing with the paperwork, to securing our rental car early enough so I could still get to work. Always and Only 5 starts for these guys. When i tell you that they are the best of the best in the body shop community. My family and I have dealt with this company for many years and have never had an issue, bad experience or concern. I dropped of my car to them and let them do everything they had to. I had not one ounce of worry about my car while it was in their care. They keep in touch with you also about any updates. I’m also even the type of person who gets very anxious dealing with insurance companies and etc.over the phone. These guys are so calm and chill over the phone, it’s just so reassuring.

I took my 2021 Honda Civic to Sonny’s to get an estimate and I felt immediately at ease. Pat walked me through the whole process and dealt with my insurance and set up all the appointments with the adjuster. The damage to my vehicle covered several panels and the bumper so I was nervous about how it would turn out (my car is leased). I was very impressed with the final result, all the panels were aligned and the paint job is perfect. The only hitch I had was the fuel door was a little jiggly, I took it back and they fixed it immediately. 5/5 for professionalism, service and final result.

I just wanted to thank Sonny's Collision for taking care of my car. Went in thinking it was just a small polish and shine fix but Jimmy and Pat were super honest and evaluated the damage caused by a neighbors overspray all over the vehicle. Their assessment of the work required to bring my baby back to its factory glory was spot on. They took the car in and gave it the attention it needed. Patience is key since the car was fully restored, every square inch of the car was touched and every tech in their shop had a hand in it. In the end the car came out better than the day I got it off the dealer lot. Their attention to detail is incredible. Even after getting the car back, they were very helpful in assuring nothing was wrong and that the car was good as factory finish and working condition. They are very professional and hands down the best Auto Body Shop in NYC. I highly recommend them. I have set a date to get my other car fixed as well, and their honest assessment makes it so much easier to know what you are getting. I give them 10 stars. I had a horrible accident. I called Pat the next morning who helped me two years ago and the same morning they got my car tow all the way in Exit 51. Geico didn’t want to pay for some of the paint job and they still did some extra paint job. Thanks Sonny you guys are like the only place that doesn’t take advantage of its costumers.

I’ve been going to Sonny’s Collision Specialists for many years. They are the absolute best! I would not think of going anywhere else to have work done on my vehicles. During the holidays my car was involved in a hit-and-run in a shopping mall parking lot. The damage to the front fender was quite extensive. Jimmy and his team are not just experts in repairing vehicles, they are the nicest and most professional people! They kept me updated every step of the way. They truly take the stress out of a nerve-wracking situation (including dealing with the insurance company and renting a car). When I picked up my car, it looked like it just came out of a show room (both inside and out). They pay attention to every detail. A huge thank you to Jimmy and his amazing team! I am forever grateful for all of your help!

My Ram truck was rear ended. The guys over at Sonny's took great care of my car. Made the damage disappear. Very professional and updated me regularly.

Went here for a photo inspection. For future references, photo inspection is done on the one way st on 106st next to the park NOT the main road on Atlantic. They’ll make you drive around to 106st if you pull up to the main road entrance. Only thing I don’t like much is they give you the print out of the photo inspection and you have to get in contact with insurance to submit it instead of the shop electronically submitted it to them. Insurance agents will ask you to attach file as pdf. Other than that flaw, quick and easy process about 3-5 minutes

Sonny Collision is the best place for your car, pat was such an amazing help he took care of everything for me, my car look amazing!

Went there for an estimate. Spoke with Pat. He looked at the car and was totally honest. Unfortunately the car was not worth the money it would cost to fix but appreciate the honesty and not having to get into it and be out of so much money or more surprises while doing the work.

Great service for our vehicle. Had a hit and run bumper completely broken off. And took it to sonny's and had it back brand new. Just have patience for the vehicle parts to come in but it is worth the wait. You want your car back fixed properly sonny's collision is the place to go. I went to this place because of the good reviews, when i got there they treated me with a lot of respect and great customer service. My car was hit and they made it looks brand new again ; even though they took a little long the wait was worthy. If you want a great detailed service on you car with original parts this is the place you need to go to.

Process with gecio and Sonny's was great drop off my car had to wait slightly over a month that's because of the parts delay picked up car with no issues. My car looked great like new.

I now have had 3 cars repaíred at Sonny's and I'll always go back and recommend there to anyone wanting expert workmanship. I had Jerry and although everyone there is good I'm totally pleased with him, they're the best.

The company is very good they have been there for many years and they do everything but they are always busy every time you need an appointment they give it to you for two or three weeks… once I made an appointment to do my car’s inspection and I had to wait 2 weeks and then they canceled the appointment because the manager was sick and supposedly was the only person who is in charge in that area which I find very unprofessional.

Was recommended to Sonny's by a good friend and I went to them after being hit while parked. They took a while to finish but my car was brand new again in the end! They also worked with my insurance and did the leg work for me. Everyone there is also very courteous and they give the car back with several gifts! Will definitely recommend to family and friends and while I hope I don't need them again, if I get hit I will definitely be back!

Outstanding all around.

First, the repairs to our car are flawless. You would never know there was damage.

Second, the customer service was outstanding. Pat and his team helped us understand and deal with the insurance company, arranged for our rental car, and kept in contact with regular updates. Even with the parts shortages many are experiencing, Sonny's finished the work quickly.

They are my only choice for auto repair.

Got there only for photo inspection for Geico. They're pretty much the only place to go to for such inspection! All other places don't do it anymore apparently. Make sure to get there at least 30 min before they close for inspection. They're super strict on closing at 3: 30pm.

My sister's car was towed here after her car got damaged in the flood. She was devastated, but the customer service received from Pete and Dominick made what could have been a more difficult situation so pleasant! They were courteous and professional and made sure she got everything she needed. It was an overall great experience!

The absolute best auto body/collision shop in Queens. I’ve taken my last 5 cars that I’ve had unfortunately, but never left unsatisfied, my last visit was for my BMW i8 which I couldn’t be happier with how my front bumper was fix after being in an accident. Their work is top notch, they treat you with respect and kindness and will do everything they can to make sure your car is properly fixed while giving you peace of mind, and if anything isn’t perfect they will make sure to do whatever it takes to do so. 10/10 would recommend them to everyone who needs auto body work done. I want to thank again the entire staff at Sonny's Collision Specialist for handling my accident from start to finish. My car was hit while parked by a postal service truck, Jimmy advised me in detail throughout the process, explained how to proceed with my case, they called to update me on the status of my car. Even with all the disaster of the pandemic they managed to obtain the parts that my vehicle needed quickly and effectively. They are Subaru certified. 

I could not be more happy and grateful with the service Jimmy and his excellent team gave me. They handled all aspects of my claim I didn't have to lift a finger. They managed to make my car look like new again and I know the only place I highly recommend is Sonny's for all your automotive needs.

Sonny's has amazing service every time! I have been in 3 no fault accident's the past two years. I have come to Sonny's each time. They have incredible expertise and are equally as willing to impart it to you for your benefit in time of need. They go above and beyond in every aspect of what you need them to do. Sonnys did an awesome job on my 2014 Pathfinder. When I picked it up it looked like it was coming out of the showroom. I am so grateful for everything they did for me. I would recommend them any time!

Sonny collision is amazing my car was in an accident in December of 2020. Sonny’s helped me out will all my repairs. They went over and beyond. Still to this day they are still helping me out with my car. Whatever you do don’t ever go to Nissan on burnside they are very unorganized. If you know anyone that’s been in a collision send them to sonny’s collision on Atlantic Ave.

Guy was not helpful at all charged us an arm an a leg because he wanted me to go through my insurance when I told him I was paying out of pocket

I made an Appointment to get a Photo Inspection for Car Insurance. I showed up on time and within 2 minutes of pulling up someone told me to pull up to the inspection Area. They took pictures and printed out my info. I was out of there within 15 mins. Very Smooth & Polite!

My car parked car was hit by a drunk driver. Sonny's came and picked up my car. A few weeks later my car was brand new again. Thank you so much.

I dropped my car off to get a scratch taken out of the passenger door and quarter panel and he went through everything with me and had me leaving feeling very confident that my vehicle was in the right hands. My car is still there and so I will update this review once I get it back but my experience so far has been fantastic and I am excited to see the work once it’s completed. I would definitely recommend you bring your business here for any body shop needs you will not be disappointed!

I called about inspection and the gentleman on the phone was not welcoming and did not sound like he wanted to be at work

I came to get my photo inspection done today, the guy was a pig, very rude I would never come here again. Customer service is below 1 star.

Pat and the crew at Sonny's are second to none. My car took a few days longer than expected and the owner personally called me to explain why. You don't come across businesses like this often. Needless to say the car came out looking like it did the day it left the showroom floor

I did not end up doing business here but the gentleman was very professional and sat me down in his office and mentored me for free for a good 15 - 20 mins as a young, inexperienced fella about the insurance collision process since I initially thought it was a relatively simple process in which I quickly learned that it isn't. He gave me great advice and even recommended me a good salvage company in which I ended up going to request a tow to salvage my previously wrecked vehicle. His professional demeanor speaks for itself in how they run this business. Make sure you carry full coverage, especially driving in NYC. This will be my go-to now that I carry full coverage and if I ever need a professional repair shop, I know where I would go.

Sonny’s is honestly so amazing, I can’t imagine the service getting much better anywhere else. My car was unfortunately hit when it was parked and I didn’t feel 100 percent safe driving it so I called Sonny’s and they sent a tow as soon as they could. Once I got to the shop, Pat took great care of me. I was already in contact with my insurance company but he made some more calls to really get the ball rolling. He helped set me up with a rental car and I really appreciate how flexible they let me be with rental days (I was paying out of pocket for the rental because silly me didn’t have rental coverage on my insurance). Left the shop feeling confident that my car was in good hands. 4 weeks later I finally got my car back and it looks probably better than it did before the accident! Thank you Pat, Jimmy and everyone else at Sonny’s for the excellent service! I hope I don’t have to be back and you’ve gained a loyal customer here:)

Although most people might not want to bring their car to a body shop, if you find the need to have your car repaired this is one of the best. Their customer service is impeccable. From easing the heartbreak of your damaged car to helping with dealing with the insurance company or getting a rental car, they've there every step of the way. Additionally, their attention to detail is amazing! They have fixed a few of my vehicles over the years and have always given me a showroom finish at the end! Great job guys!

I have been going to Sonny's for over 12 years and I can honestly say they treat you like family. As soon as you walk in you are greeted in a warm professional manner.
