Solid service, have been coming here since I started driving in 2007, have brought countless cars through their garage for inspections, service, etc.plenty to do within walking distance if you have to wait.

Sonny was friendly and professional. Even before I brought my car to the shop he tried to help diagnose my electrical problem over the phone for free. Ultimately he was able to fix the problem at a very reasonable cost. Thanks. Jerry.

Don’t go to this shop! My safety inspection failed because he stated I need two rear tires and he would only charge me $10 when I come back with the tires. I watched the workers and they didn’t even complete the full safety inspection. I didn’t hear or see any beeping off the horn, etc. They just lifted my car up and looked at it then stated I need two new, rear tires. I called the cops on them so the police department is informed. I will also get another safety inspection elsewhere and when I pass, I will go back over there and ask for a refund. Also, I was exhausted, but they asked me to pay before they gave me a receipt for service. I will write a complaint to NYS too.

I'm very glad to find a professional, honest and hard working mechanic near my work. My 2018 Hyundai Sonata had an oil leak after an oil change from another shop. Upon their second attempted failure to fix the problem, I had brought it to Sonny's upon my co-worker's recommendation. Sonny was professional, timely, and best of all very reasonably priced. I've known Sonny for a couple of years. My regular mechanic retired and closed up shop so I took my car to Sonny. He is incredibly professional and knows his stuff. He takes care of people who come in, supervises several other mechanics and even finds the time to keep the area clean and organized. He is friendly, honest, and a really good guy.

Since 4-Star Auto Repair closed back.in the Spring (Gabor retired) he recommended Sonny's at the corner of South Oyster Bay Road and Old Country Road. As someone who drives upwards of 60k miles a year (I run an independent car service) I needed a repair guy I can trust. Sonny and his guys are quite good, his prices are competitive and his service is relatively quick.
