I shop here at the Skyview Mall almost every other weekend, and my only complaint is about paying the parking ticket to leave the garage. The machines were updated after so long which was amazing! But it seems like those new ones are starting to have issues, too. I got stuck inside almost an hour, trying to leave, and found out that a machine was not working at the exit. Really need to be checking them regularly.
This was my first experience parking in this mall garage. The wait was very long. You had drivers trying to cut in the line. Then there was a private mini bus attempting to enter the parking garage. The sign clearly stated the height with a barrier that also had it posted in black and white giant letters. The driver proceeded to the entrance anyway and then had to turn around causing a longer delay. After that it was smooth sailing. I like the convenience of parking here and would do it again.
Don't park here during the holidays! The machines are always out of order and people refuse to pay because everyone's stuck by the exit! Hours wait for staff to fix the issue! Madness!
It's the only large, affordable lot in an overly crowded neighbor hood. Parking spots are hard to come by. Spots are narrow. If I had a nice car, I would never park there. You have to search high and low to find a machne to pay before exiitng. And last saturday there was only one open lane. It took 20 minutes to exit that garage. It's dark and the people and cars almost share the same lane. It's a wonder more pedestrians are not run over.
First time here. I drove in, got a ticket from the machine. Not knowing where anything was we ended up on the 4th floor only to find BJs was at the bottom. After shopping at BJs with the $75 minimum well over $100. I went to the 2nd Floor pay booth and showed the guy my ticket. He said you give it to the guy going out. Went to the Cashier line in my car and dude was like $4. I'm like we bought stuff it should be free. He was like there's no stub or something. Anyways we paid the $4 but that is so salty because parking should had been free for us otherwise we would had went to the usual one we go to at Metropolitan. Unless there's some secret way we're suppose to validate the parking I don't know what to say. I passed the receipt to show the guy, he should had waved us through. Is $4 worth a 1 star review? No not completely but given the fact that the staff there are slow to respond, The one guy was on the phone inside just talking not acknowledging someone at the window shows lack of care.almost all the machines all have papers saying not working. I think that overall warrants this poor star review.
On our way trying to find the way out cops inside doing high speed pit maneuvers trying to catch someone. Yeah.
There was heavy traffic jam in the parking lot today half of hour.which because the machine in parking lot was replaced by stuff manual checking-out then was charged extra $. You can not charge the customers for extra $ due to the traffic jams created by your technical issues and manual operational time consuming…
It's definitely convenient to park here while shopping, but they could a better job with cleaning up. Unfortunately some people like to use the stairwells to urine in, and with this heat it's not pleasant to say the least
Was stuck in the traffic inside the garage for an HOUR! No one is directing the traffic or helping the cars leave. By the time my car arrived the exit, it’s way passed the 20 minutes mark and the machine won’t raise the gate til i pay 4 extra dollars! Outrageous!
Its cheaper than parking outside but this parking lot its not very ample. Very tight turns and low ceiling. Take your ticket to pay before you get into your car. This will avoid the build up on long lines. This place can have a sensory overload as when people honk it is loud. Poor cell phone service. Update 7/24 minimum has gone up to $4.
The worst layout and payment system on the planet - signs are lacking and confusing to navigate out of the facility - payment machines mostly broken, not enough staffing and requiring customers with paid tickets while exiting is a system designed to fail - guess who pays the price more than once?
Well, it's truly good thing I still remember how 2 go to this place doctor office! Where my dentist is! Since it's been very long time haven't gone 2 the skyview mall!
Overall good experience, but buggy kiosk and some of them are out of service. Even if you paid and reprint your ticket using the kiosk sometimes you got stuck by the gate. Luckily the security at turnstile can help.
Be careful parking your vehicle in this parking lot. I need to return a pair of tennis shoes for my son that I purchase previously from Adidas. I stop at another store. I shopped a hour tops.when I returned to the parking lot my mirrors were stolen off of my BMW.
I reached out to security I was told that this activity was normal but usually Honda and Toyota were the vehicle of choice for theft in there parking lot.
No help was giving no assistance at all it was like no one cared.
I recently traveled back to the mall to try an find assistance with this matter. I was giving a name and number to contact management. Let's see what the outcome will be
The parking rates are not bad here considering it is getting more difficult to find parking in flushing but they really need to improve the pay station machines. My fee was supposed to be $3 but because it wouldnt take my credit card and cash payment i went to a different machine at another level and it costed me $7 for the extra time spent.
