Absolutely not what I expected. Dirty, dingy and dank. The Karaoke rooms did not seem to make a difference, as the music was so loud in each of them, that you couldn't enjoy the music in your own room. Very low-level.

Cheap but very limited choice of songs, especially recent ones or foreign language. Their app wasn't working, and microphones are not great.

Great karaoke bar and extremely well run. Mark is a great bartender and host. Love this spot

The vibe was amazing. I had so much fun. The bartenders were amazing, especially the lady that served me. I would definitely go there again. I spent 5 hours there that's how much fun I had.

We had a lot of fun in the private room. The room was clean, and the equipment worked really well. Unfortunately, they don't have food and we had to go elsewhere for that.

Sing Sing has a steady crowd of locals, you come here to have fun, sing karaoke, receive great service right away, you are never waiting for a drink, and they have a vast selection of songs. The crowd is eccentric, friendly, it's always a great time here. Sing Sing has an unapologetic vibe, with memorable nights.

Flew over to NYC from Austria and was welcomed with open arms at this place. The handsome English guy (Mark) was very accommodating and pushed the boat out for us. Would highly recommend the happy hour.

I always have a great time at Sing Sing Ave A! The staff are always really friendly, and they create a fun and safe environment for people to sing in the public bar. On top of that, there is a great a selection of private rooms that you can book. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Sing Sing Ave A is the perfect combo of karaoke and dive bar.
Drinks are cheap and the staff is quick and friendly.
Doesn’t matter if you’re a great singer or the worst, this place is free of judgement, so get in there and sing your heart out!
Highly recommend for special events but also just nights out on the town.

What more could you want for karaoke? Prob 20+ rooms that accomodate all sizes, nice setups, cheap drinks, and friendly staff. They also do live karaoke from the main bar if you want to win or lose the crowe over.

I’ve gone to Sing Sing several times. It’s always a fun atmosphere with reasonably priced drinks. A few weeks ago, I had my birthday party in one of the rooms. The bartender more than took care of us and made the whole night incredible, even with us being drunken nutcases and ordering drinks every 5 seconds. I would absolutely recommend having a party or a friendly get together just to sing some songs.

The blonde lady with glasses gave us excellent and quick service, she was very clear about their policy. 10/10 definitely coming back here!

Dive karaoke bar. Super crowded. I had fun just this place is really understaffed & expensive.

They will charge you for more than what you ordered and when you try to correct them, they’ll confidently claim you’re wrong.

We had a $600 bill and said they overcharged us for two glasses of wine ($20) and they created a huge fuss about it. They made us feel like we were lying about it. Really nice way to make a customer who had a great time ruin their evening for no reason.

It wasn't bad but more of a neighborhood bar and chill spot for those who frequent that area I love how the whole bar sings along mean while I never heard the ballot before but it was an experience they ALL count in my journey.

Had a great time here on Friday night! It was jam packed but vibes were immaculate! Everyone from the bartender to the owners were so sweet, can’t wait to come back!

Very nice, the girl who served us was very friendly. The music system is very good and easy to use. The drinks were good

They need to get better at reservations here. I called a month in advance to book and then confirmed myself a few days prior to the reservation. Never got any texts until the second confirmation on my end. The next day they cancelled my reservation after I confirmed with them? Went there and the staff was not helpful and confused.

Rented a private room and had an amazing evening with 9 friends. It wasn't a perfect experience but they definitely made up for it with their service.

Good/bad: The main bar is very crowded and it's more of a "divey" atmosphere than karaoke spots in K-town, but we spent our time in a private room so it didn't bother me much. If you like divey, then it's great! Everyone in the main room was having a great time!

Good:
- It was very easy to make and change our reservation - after submitting the form online, I was able to communicate with them via phone, text and email.
- Song selection totally met our needs.
- They allowed us to extend the reservation an hour.
- They comped us a half hour to make up for the check-in process, so that was really nice.

Bad:
- The check in and check out process was very hectic and slow
- Initially, I didn't love the room - smell of cleaning products, not enough seats for 10 of us. But ultimately it didn't bother us!

Really nice bouncer, but the bartender was truly awful and ungrateful for even 33% tip. He also refused us to enter our own pincode and wanted us to tell him

We stumbled on this place and had a blast. You can find some great, and not so great, singers here. Love the energy and the people who were there. Cool place to mix in with some locals.

Karaoke bar with a public area and private rooms. Gets quite busy on weekends so get here earlier if you want to sing more than a so my or two in the public area. Pours are generous.

ALWAYS packed, and for good reason. This place is a blast. We have the time of our lives every time we come here for girls night. The rooms are decently sized, the equipment is in good shape, awesome selection of music. I love the ease of the tablet on the wall to help you find and queue up music. They give you warnings when the time is up, and are very friendly.

This place is great…BUT they add an auto tip to the bill without telling you and then they prompt you to tip again on the signature receipt while the itemized is hidden underneath. WATCH OUT.

By far best karaoke bar in New York!
Mark (the manager) is really the star here. I need to bring my mother here.
