Silver Moon Bakery

Pros: One of the best bakeries in Manhattan with many varieties of the menu. Staff is friendly and respectful. Baguette lovers will be satisfied there. All the bakeries is fresh on daily basis. There's a nice outdoor dining area. The a nice list of hot drinks. Prices within the mid range for au h quality. Overall rating is 09/10.

Cons: The shop inside is a bit small for many customers. Otherwise can't complain.

Such a wonderful local bakery that is seemingly adored by the neighborhood.

Pastries, fresh bread, coffee and cookies this little corner joint seems to have everything you need in a bakery including tables on the avenue and two sun drenched benches on the side. There is even a side door where you can order if you have your dog with you.

Everything is great here; point, buy and eat it. I tried the Wheatberry loaf, which has a nice everything bagel like crust. The bread pudding has a good candied orange flavor. The coffee is a dark roast here, it tastes a bit like Starbucks's Pike Place roast. Oh, and before I forget, the morning glory muffin makes my morning great! I can't wait to go back and try more.

I actually don’t want to review Silver Moon. There is always a small line out the door already and I don’t really want it to be much longer. That said, this bakery is wonderful. We moved to New York recently and went looking for a good bakery near us. We found Silver Moon the first week and started trying different things every few days. We thought it would be fun to over time try everything to limit our options down to just the ones we like. So far we have not been able to cross anything off. It is all wonderful.

I know I’m going to have a good day when I start it with a CA roll from Silver Moon! I also took home a bread pudding, which will be perfect for dessert tonight. I like to throw it in the air fryer for a minute, then serve it with vanilla bean ice cream.

So kind, so yummy! There is no bakery that has the exquisite taste, the breads, the tarts.everything is superb. Ah, the macaroons. And stop by for coffee.the owner is the sweetest.

I am honestly in shock at the quality of the items this place has to offer. I have never tasted better pastries even traveling all over Paris. They have just barely enough sweetness to be recognized as a dessert and everything beyond that highlights the flavor of the ingredients. Highly impressed and hats off to the chef for creating some of the best baked goods I’ve ever had. My friend tried them as well and he agrees with me 100%. Amazing bakery and instant recommendation for anyone on the west side. Worth 8-10 subway stops for sure.

The only real self-defined full bakery in reach of Columbia on the UWS in New York. Sort of (not entirely) French bread and pastry with special treats especially around ethnic holidays.

Delicious apple pie, croissants and breads. The Silver Moon bakery is a timeless NYC treasure.

Great bread, unusual varieties. They have a gluten free bread too.
Walnut raisin buns are very healthy!

My elderly grandad and I came in here and ordered food under the impression that we could sit down but once we got our food they told us we couldn’t sit and had to leave. Freaking ridiculous considering my grandad is 89. But the the muffins were fire.
