I was a bit apprehensive at first as I had just learned my stylist was no longer with the salon. But since I had a gift certificate I decided to try another stylist. I saw Ciara and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. She was very attentive to what I was asking, continually making sure we were on the same page. She was meticulous in applying my highlights and she had quite the job ahead of her as I hadn’t been to the salon in two years. The cut she gave me is the closest I have ever gotten to a provided photograph then I have ever had in my life. I admit I was nervous when looking her up prior to my appointment to see she was a level one stylist but it was all unnecessary as Ciara immediately put me at ease. She took great care with me and I will definitely be a returning customer. Great work!

First time there, Alyssa was professional and friendly. She listened to my haircut ideas and gave me exactly what I wanted. I will be back, prices for a haircut are reasonable.

I’ve lived right up the street from this salon since August so I don’t know why it took so long so come here. My cousin had been recommending it for a while and I finally made the appointment with Bella. She did not disappoint! She cut my hair exactly the way I asked, and gave me so many tips on products to use for low maintenance hair care/styling. Step by step, she showed me how to blow out my hair and give it volume. Great experience, and I’ll definitely be back for color next time!

I started going to Sheer Magigue around June/July 2022 Lenore does my haircuts and blowouts, and Lisa is doing my color. My hair has never looked better. I never thought I would even be able to grow my hair out because of a natural wave in my hair and used to always have a pixie cut. I was so wrong. I have now grown my hair longer it is much more manageable and even the texture of my hair has change from being thick and frizzy to smooth and finer as well as shinier. Both stylists have shown me how to manage my hair, what products to use and I have never been happier with the way my hair looks and feels. It is so worth paying a little more for hair products than buying them from a grocery store. I am a true believer that Lenore and Lisa have changed my hair and my life.

The salon is awesome, pleasant and great atmosphere. I Try to get to Vanessa at least once a week and 6 weeks with the gloss. I cannot begin to tell you her blowouts are amazing and she is just great.

Julie Fee is an amazing hair stylist. She is so attentive to my needs and over the past couple of months, we have formed a great relationship. She always listens to what I want and need, and she makes me feel so comfortable as if I’m the only one there. During the holiday season, Julie added hair tinsel into to my hair and I loved it! She has also done beach waves after coloring and cutting my hair. I am extremely pleased every time I go.

Ashley is amazing and she knows what works. I feel confident that she will steer me in the right direction to get the best hair color and style for me.

Julie at Sheer Magique is absolutely the best. She knows what I want when I can't explain it. She gave me one of my best haircuts a couple years ago when she was just starting on the floor- now she's a seasoned stylist that literally brought a smile to my face today with my amazing cut and her awesome personality. Have been looking for a stylist for such a long time, been to at least half of Rockland County’s Salons, haven’t had much luck in finding that right fit. My hair is a reflection of personality, and it is imperative I see that sassy reflection when I look in the mirror. Today I went to Shear Magique to check out the vibe, I had read the great reviews and I’m so glad I did!
I met Anthony at the reception desk, he was so friendly and happy to listen to all my questions about the stylists and services… he then asked Luz to answer a few questions and I knew then and there that Luz “got me”, she understood what I wanted done with ny hair. The universe made its own Magique because Luz had a cancellation later in the day!
I can’t thank you enough Luz for such a wonderful hair cutting experience, your genuineness is so refreshing, your listening and masterful hair cutting skills are so appreciated, I truly love my haircut!:)
I look forward to our next appointment with color and a place I can finally “stay awhile”… no more salon hopping for me!

My experience at Shear Magique is always the best! I get my hair colored by Lisa, and she always nails it! Lenore cuts my hair and does it perfectly. I could show them any inspiration picture and they always match it!:)
