I like dealing with local businesses, and I have no reason to go elsewhere. They are very friendly, honest, accommodating, and do the job right the first time.

Friendly, efficient service. Checked with me before began repairs. Suggested oil change and tire rotation that I would have forgotten. Called when repairs were completed. Provided loaner.

Great experience for an unpleasant expensive repair. Matt was great in keeping me up to date with the repair and ETA on finishing the vehicle job along with pictures of the problem. They have a fair hourly labor rate and were very thorough in explaining what was wrong with the vehicle. They even offered a complimentary loaner Vehicle based on the length of time to do the repair. They did not want to return the car to me until they were certain everything was working properly. They earned a customer for sure. I am not looking for car repair issues, but when I need it I will be sure to come back to them.

I'm updating my review, now that Jeff has moved on to new horizons and Matt has joined the Schoen Team. I am happy to say the quality, integrity, honesty and genuine kindness here at Schoen remains. I was initially concerned at price increases, but checked on what they told me about the cost of parts going up and it is indeed true, and Matt remains as personable, direct, honest and kind as Jeff was. He has fit me in at the last minute on a Friday afternoon two hours before closing to replace a burst shock absorber, and today fixed another issue I thought would be much more serious and turns out not to be. His mechanics spend any time needed, showing you the car, what the issue is and explaining anything at all you have any question about. Mark did that very thing with me today. At no time does anyone at Schoen discount your concern, taking any time needed to make sure you are satisfied and your car is safe. I am genuinely not only pleased with, but grateful for their service. Always so reassuring, fairly priced (despite cost increases), and genuinely caring. We have been with them for years - they have kept our 12 year old car running well! - and will continue to stay with them. Thank you so much Schoen Team!

Such friendly staff - always available to answer questions and give suggestions where to go if they can't do something. Always considerate of the pocketbook as well - they never overcharge! Our 2010 Mazda is still running perfectly thanks to Jeff and his staff. So grateful!

Been a customer for years, great people, great, fast service, quality of service and parts are top notch. May be a little more pricey than your auto mall service centers, but they stand by their work.

Great customer Service. Was able to make appointment for next day in convenience time for me. They were able to help me with my problem quickly, compare to Goodyear garage. I was surprised that I passed inspection. Goodyear wasn't able to do inspection, because I had Engine light on. They told me to leave my car for whole day next week. They will do diagnostic first and I need to wait for couple of days for inspection.

Schoen place did diagnostic in half hour the same day. I also passed inspection and was so happy with service. I called Goodyear and cancelled appointment. Also told them that I am all set with inspection. They did not believe it.

Schoen has fair price. Waiting area is clean and organized. Coffee is available any time. Highly recommended this place. Looks like guys who work there really like customers and do everything to make customers happy. Thank you for a great business.

Matt and the team at Schoen found a problem that the dealership, after multiple visits, could not find.
They fixed it in a timely manner and even offered me a loaner which was CLUTCH, because I drive to various locations throughout the day for work. I would have lost business without a vehicle. They are also super professional and kept me updated on the progress. I mention this because not all auto places do this and you have to call them to find out what's going on.
I am very happy with their service and they are definitely my new place to go for all my vehicle needs.

Service and staff were great. They were able to fit me in for a state inspection same day when others were 3 weeks out. Noticed a needed oil change and a backwards dealer-installed hood latch repair and fixed both same day for a very reasonable price. Will use them every time in the future.

I have used Schoen auto for years. I have always enjoyed the people who work there, received timely and appropriate service and have great respect for the owner and staff.

Mechanics were great. I had an issue getting my oil cap off to add more. Manager made sure I did not leave without being able to get cap off by myself. By the way. I am a woman. Schoen Auto always treats me with respect and gives me great service.

This is the second time I've taken my vehicle to Schoen Auto and I am very impressed. The staff was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. An honest mechanic is not an oxymoron because you find that here at Schoen Auto. The first time I took my vehicle to Schoen it was sounding like a race car when my vehicle is most certainly not and rather than upselling me services I didn't need, they addressed my simple issue rather inexpensively. I will be going to Schoen Auto for all my future needs.

Schoen Auto, they are very nice honest upfront pricing they’re friendly to all all people the nice thing is if they’re honest and they don’t overcharge. If you don’t have something that you think is wrong and they find it’s not they will they’ll tell you like I said they’re at they’re honest and their pricing is fair I use them since I moved into the city.

Schoen Auto is by far the best repair shop in the Rochester area. Jeff and his staff are the most honest people you will meet in one of the most dishonest businesses. Do not hesitate to take your vehicle here as they will help you out with any issues you have and won’t try to bang you over the head in pricing. Great, professional service that will leave you headache free.

I have taken my VW to Schoen twice: on both occasions I received THE HIGHEST level of customer service and mechanical expertise. They were honest, accommodating and overall, unbelievably pleasant! I am so happy to have found this service center!

Just simply an auto shop where you can trust what you are told is wrong and trust it gets repaired to your satisfaction.

In 12/2022, I called and scheduled an appointment to look at my very squeaky brakes. Although I do some minor car maintenance (e.g, oil changes, fluid flushes), I have no experience with brakes. I told Jeff that it seemed like the brake pads were worn down and wondered whether I needed new ones. He looked through his system and found that they had replaced the brake pads and rotors in 1/2020 – just within the two-year warranty period. I didn’t remember this – they could have easily sold me new brake pads/rotors. Instead, they looked at my brakes and, while they were not worn down, they were nonetheless very squeaky for unclear reasons. Free of charge, they replaced my rear brake pads under warranty. This is a great shop, and I’m happy to refer friends and family to it. Thank you, Jeff! You saved me hundreds of dollars that another shop would have gladly taken.

Jeff and the people at Schoen are the most honest and sincere people I have ever encountered in the automotive business. Trust them with all my service needs. Jeff even talked me out of expensive repairs for an older car- understanding my love of the car he pursuaded me that the money would not be well spent and suggested I get a newer vehicle. He gave up work but now has a customer for life

I've taken my 2004 SAAB convertible to Schoen Auto for the last 8 years. They can find parts when needed and seem thorough and honest. Easy and pleasant to deal with.

This was my first time using Schoenberg auto - they came highly recommended from another mechanic… Thought I had a transmission problem but ended up just needing new spark plugs - VERY HONEST place … Now I highly recommend them ….
