Safelite AutoGlass

I had Safelite replace my driver's window last year and it was never working properly.
I finally had the opportunity to have it fixed properly and it's working well.

Be aware! Stay away from this place! Was there on 12/4/2023 they damaged the top of my hood and denied it. Horrible customer service manager was very difficult to get a hold of. They told me I had to bring it to them and send it to their body shop which is ridiculous. Will be filing a claim with small claims court!

Work done while you wait but it would be better if thete was a window into the work area or CCTV monitors so you can see that work is actually done. Its a little disappointing to get you car back only to have a worker tell you why thete is still a crack visible.

When I first came into safelite took me in right away and let me know the time estimate my car would be ready. He was very polite and professional. Afterwards Diego came out and explained to me every step of the process of replacing my rear window. He was very knowledgeable, detail oriented, and professional about what he was doing. He explain to me everything from top to Bottom. I truly appreciate employees that treat me well. Treatment and service means everything when you are paying for a service. When Diego turned my car in, it looked absolutely fabulous as if there was no damage on the rear glass. Overall they all did an amazing job, my car even turned off towards the end and Diego & Victor were nice enough to bring out a booster to restart my car. Honestly these guys went above and beyond, they were on point with service and they were ahead of time to deliver me the vehicle.

From start to finish these guys we're absolutely amazing. Very professional and very pleasant. Answered all questions without getting frustrated. Said it would take 2hrs and it only to 1hr. No complaints so far so good

A technician never showed up to my house. When i called ti check I was told that i wasnt home wasting my whole day. Today I bring my car in and am told 2 hours. Two and a half hours later I am told 20 minutes. 40 minutes afrer that I am told it will be out in five minutes. That was 15 minutes ago. I will never use or rrcommend this cimpany again. Time is money and I know better than to put my trust in safelight.

The staff are very professional and welcoming. The waiting area is nice and clean and they provide free coffee. It was a great experience.

I had an appointment yesterday, May 05,2023, to replace my front windshield. I have to say, I was very impressed. Everyone there was super polite and professional. A technician by the name of Diego was the one who replaced my windshield. He made me feel absolutely confident that my car was going to be taken care of, and that's exactly what he did. Diego was 100% professional and got the job done! My windshield is brand new again! I even got to enjoy a nice cup of coffee they had while i waited. The place even smelled nice lol. Thank you so much Diego, and to all the awesome people at Safelite on Zarega Ave in the Bronx!

Courteous and fast overall great service could have done a little better with vacuuming the broken glass but majority of it was vacuumed

After a few hiccups, I was able to get my windshield replaced what started from a windshield repair coming out of pocket, I was first told by diana that o wasn't getting a refund, but Raymond reassured me through the system that a refund was being issued and my windshield was replaced three a new claim of my insurance thanks again Raymond.

Had a rear glass replaced but ended with 2 deep 6" cuts in my paint, chipped paint, and cracked plastic on my liftgate.

My recent experience at Safelite on Zerega Avenue was absolutely flawless.
Arrived early for my appointment and was seen immediately.
My technician / installer (whom I believe was Jovan) was professional and courteous. Safelite would be lucky to have their employees represent them as well as this gentleman.

I came into the shop to fix my back window shield one of the workers broke my inner tail light and they refuse to fix it. I have pictures and the manager claimed they take pictures before they touch my truck but where are those pictures they have none. They covering up for the person who did do it. Now I have to take them to court for the cost of my light.

Great job on rear glass and excellent service not a long wait time.would recommend them to any.

Stars if I could. Hakeem never showed up to 2 appointments. I called after he didn’t show up to the first appointment, they told me to call back 15 mins after the end up the first appointment period (5: 30pm). They were closed. Why would they tell me to call back after they closed?
Scheduled the next available appointment…no show again

How does this Safelite Shop stay in business? After (4) trips to this location my windshield is still broken! Just one excuse after another, oh yea, I ordered the windshield ahead of my first visit! You know there is a problem when the person behind the counter says "Oh, you dealt with the manager, that was your first mistake"! What a miserable experience! Next Call - Geico to let them know how well Safelite on Zeraga Ave in the Bronx treats their customers! I guess it is very easy to have a beautiful shop if you never do any work in it!

The staff is pleasant but I checked in, provided my keys and waited almost two hours before being informed that my parts never arrived from the warehouse and would not be available until the next business day.

Their operations needs improvement. Customers’ appointments and time should be respected. I decided to go with a different business.
