Russo's On The Bay

Restaurant for ceremonies of the highest level. I start with the only negative: the entrance is located along a busy road, but once you enter you are in another world.
Upon arrival, some employees take the car and park it in the garage of the structure; at the end of the ceremony they give it back to you. The internal rooms are furnished with that elegance which is suitable for ceremonies. The food well presented, plentiful, tasty; the staff present but discreet (excellent service). The bathrooms are spotless and very comfortable.

I always have a great time at Russo.
It's in a great location. Although it was cold outside, I still appreciate the view of the water.
The food is ALWAYS good, like the salmon! (Definitely add that to your menus)
This time around I went to an went where both ballrooms were open and it was great. The staff was very accommodating, especially when I had a little issue. They took their time to fix the problem and that was appreciated. I will recommend this venue for any event.

Food sucks.it used to be a great place but now I'm guessing.managment is only looking out to make more money and lower quality. This wouldn't of ever happened if Doe the original chef was still here.

The people writing these reviews obviously have some sort of stake or investment in the joint because none of these reviews are truthful or they are probably of the lowest standard Italian American that have no clue what real Italian food really is. More like Jersey Shore Italians that's still think bachi galloop is an actual Italian word

The food is incredible as always. All authentic and the service is impeccable. They are meticulous when serving and how they treat their guests. Stunning décor. Just all around fabulous.

So from as a former worker here I am extremely extremely disappointed in the service training and management is beyond complaining about I had the same uniform provided three times in a row the food is reuse many times from different parties which is beyond disgusting. I wasn’t shown how to work or do anything at all as guided I want to work I like working this place is so unprofessional it’s sickens me a yell at you for everything at all even if things aren’t your fault but I need someone to be yelled at you are not valued whatsoever as an employee I know a lot of the bread and the cheeses were beyond expired some of the alcohol was diluted possibly pieces of glass in the food as well as hair. They were also a few fights that we’re just really really scary and hard to comprehend especially right in front of the guests. One time I guess pulled me to the side and tipped me $50 saying I’m doing a fantastic job please keep up the great work I see how they’re treating you guys it’s very unfair no one deserves to be treated that way from being yelled at. One time I saw a manager throw a rag at another employee for not brewing coffee fast enough. Also the strange part was my paycheck was fluctuated meaning it wasn’t always very accurate like ours were being taken away from us when we worked those hours. I think there needs to be a big clean house of management here because it seems the employees are definitely building levels of depression and mental illness at this point it’s very sad that the guests are happy also what time I guess came up to me and said his coffee taste like pure shit can you please go to Dunkin’ Donuts and buy me something. I also found handprints of shit in the employee bathroom. Also there were a lot of bugs around the silverware and glasses. So if anybody is deciding to work at that Russos on the bay vetro I really recommend reading this heated review Far away from this place for a job and if you plan on having any kind of event here this is the last place on or if you want to have an event Few times at parties it was raining meaning the ceilings were leaking

We attended a wedding this evening, and I have to say that our sever just could do enough for us, What an amazing night we had, the food, the service and the venue were wonderful!

Went here for my high school prom and multiple weddings since. I always have a great experience. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is amazing. The venue is beautiful, super clean and well kept. I highly recommend whether you are a guest or looking to host.

Russos on the Bay has been a family favorite venue since my grandfathers younger years. Grampa new the original owner and held many family events here including birthday parts and family weddings. The son now owns the place and has brought it even to a higher standard. We rented this venue for my aunts 65th birthday party. The food was outstanding, the drinks were flowing and thanks to me being the DJ of the party, the music rocked. All of my family including my Grampa who shared many memories here were very impressed and all had a wonderful time. We needed an extra table and they brought it out and set the whole thing up within 7 minutes flat.

I was a worker back in the day and I just got to come on here to speak the truth. For all the people that want to have a party here they reuse all the food from previous party’s to serve you. They don’t we’re gloves and use the same rags every night. After one night working I witnessed 3 rats and 17 cockroaches. After my first week I was yelled at for going along with someone to learn the place. They don’t clean the floors. They yell at new workers and usually don’t show them the way to do anything. They steal your tips and have no respect for there workers. They use dirty silverware and dont clean anything. But I gotta say that the bathrooms are the cleanest part of this entire place. DONT COME HERE TO WORK OR TO PARTY.

It's a great place. The service and staff is excellent. The food is delicious to. Definitely try the Russo's pork chop. Also, the drinks they make at the open bar are pretty good. They use top shelf, I'm assuming. Overall very nice place venue. I would definitely consider doing something there in the future.

There is much to be said about Russo's on the Bay, they have a beautiful venue with excellent food and great service. In my opinion, they are the best at hosting large venues. Thank you Joe Vacca and Frank Russo for providing us with my wife's dream wedding, absolutely fantastic.

This place is the biggest catering hall in queen's. The place is not only so big but beautiful as well and it's right on the bay. All of the staff is super friendly and very helpful. Any occasion you want to celebrate they can make it become a story book fairytale. Plus they do amazing work and they are very clean and organized. Mr Russo won't accept anything less!

Mr. Frank Russo and his team which for us included our maître d’ Joe, bridal attended Hope, and Jennifer, made our dreams come to life! It was such a romantic and surreal experience for us! They made all our dreams come true. We felt no anxiety about anything, they had brought our vision to life, with limited direction, we had not a care in the world, our job was to just enjoy the day & that we absolutely did! We wish we could go back and do it again and again! The professionalism of their team, from valet to servers, to our Maître and bridal attendant was out of this world! We cannot thank them enough for not only making our dreams come true, but making our day worth the wait! We were treated like family from the minute we walked through those doors, to the time they turned on those lights at the end of our event & beyond. We made memories that will last a lifetime, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the positive attitude of every single person we interacted with. They decorated and set up our ceremony and reception like a fairytale. Just when you think Russos have out done themselves, they do it AGAIN! It was better than we could have ever imagined! Also this goes without saying but I’ll say it anyway, the FOOD IS MAGNIFICENT! Every single thing, just perfection! The entire place feels like HOME!

Was just there for a wedding. The bride and groom spared no expense. Food was exceptional which included Surf and Turf at the cocktail hour. Service from the staff was just as exceptional. Didn't catch attitude from one staff member. Every person I came in contact with during cocktail hour, during the meal and for drinks was on their game. Great experience.

The best wedding hall in Queens. Long over due review. We had our bilingual wedding here a bit ago and we are still very happy with the outcome. It was all just right. The food was crazy. Staff was on point and the everything else in between was equally great. This may have been the best referral we got. I hope to attend another wedding here again soon. Have been to Russo's on the Bay many times in my life for many lovely events. Needed to post a review, because this review is about so much more than what they do so well at Russo's. Russo's has been a food purveyor, catering food to people in our city that need help through the Covid pandemic. I have been helping my neighbors and have seen the city provide food from MOST places that should be a crime, food that no human should be given to eat, boxes of plain half cooked rice with what appears like catfood on top to our elderly, even foul smelling rotten food. When a box from Russo's comes, it is like a godsend for these folks. Russo's has taken the time, care and love to prepare beautiful meals for people who are food insecure during this time, and I for one would like to thank you for that. You are lifting spirits in dark times for folks. It hasn't gone unnoticed and will certainly come into play first thing when people ask for recommendations for parties weddings, catering. I hope this review let's you all know with whom you will be dealing in choosing Russo's, people who care. Thank you for what you are doing, you are doing it right!

We can not say enough wonderful things about Russo’s! We had our wedding at Russo’s on January 5th 2020. From our first meeting with Frank Russo and his staff, we knew we were in good hands and all our wedding dreams would come true. Joe Vodka and Hope made sure all our needs were met on the day of our wedding. Everything exceeded our already high expectations. All of our family and friends were blown away by the delicious food, perfectly made cocktails and professional and helpful staff. Over a year later, they still call us to rave about how incredible everything was. We will definitely be using Russo’s in the future for our growing family.

Carol and staff at Russo's were so friendly and informative it was like sitting down with your own family and working out the details of the wedding. The catering facility was Elegant and spectacular. You can definitely tell that everyone there has a close bond and enjoy working together.

Awesome is an understatement! Russo's is a spacious and of high design. The sound and accoustics are good. It's a great place to celebrate large social functions.
