Service was very fast, and they got the job done, thought it was a bit pricey $$$ though, otherwise everyone was friendly and courteous.

Terrible experience- Only did half the job and had to come back days later because restoration could not proceed until the entire job was done. Then they charged us again and we paid but realized immediately that we had a 6 month guarantee. We called and were told second charge would be reversed but it wasn't and when we disputed the charge with the credit card company they said that it was recharged! It is now in dispute a 2nd time. This seems like a scheme to get a second charge - to only clean out one part and have to be called back within days to complete a task that was already paid for. We are dependent on their ethics and veracity- especially in an emergency such as that which necessitates a visit from them- and that when the job is done and we pay for the service that the work was checked to be comlete and not required to have a call back which delayed repairs and caused us to have a second (duplicate) and repeat charge.

We had them come out in January for a clog in the main sewer line and they advised they guarantee their work for 6 months. Today we had the same issue and the same tech came out from Jan. He was here within 2 hours, in a Sunday. He was pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable and did a even more thorough investigation. Got us up and running in no time. The service call was no charge (so no gimmicks this is not covered under the warranty you sometimes get from other companies). RR is going to call me to schedule a tech with a camara to check the entire line to make sure they resolved the issue since we had a problem 2 months after they were here and Ivebeen told that work is at no charge and they will schedule around me. I really appreciate knowing RR stands by their work, they are fast and reliable and super easy to deal with. No long hold times to talk to a dispatcher, they call or text you to keep you posted about where you are on the schedule. They are expensive, yes, but so far definitely worth the cost. They also take covid protocols very seriously on their end and on the customer's end too so that is an added plus in my book.

I called for an emergency service because my boiler suddenly stopped working. The staff took me in and and scheduled a service request right away. The team came to my home within one hour and fixed my boiler damper on the site. Very happy that they responded and repaired my issue quickly.

Glad I called RotoRooter to fix our sewer blockage.
Our sewer line goes out the back of our home, then wraps around and runs under the driveway to the street, a total run of about 150 feet to the street.
They have the experience and right tools to tackle such a complex plumbing and challenging sewer blockage.
The technician was expert, professional and friendly.

The technician arrived on time
and was very polite. He was very careful bring his equipment in my home. He did an excellent job cleaning the main sewer line. At the end he even cleaned the space when he was working.

The technicians were great. However, I wanted to have my cesspool pumped and found out when they arrived that roto-rooter no longer does that service, even though it is still advertised on the website. Now I paid $600 bucks for to clear a small clog by the trap and have to bring in a different company to pump my cesspool. FALSE ADVERTISING!

Not recommended, will cost you $540 to replace a brocken washer with a double washer! And they will sell a drain opener for $80 to your wife!

Marcus and Dom from Roto Rooter are pros you can count on. They came in, assessed the situation and immediately got to work and resolved the issue quickly, and cleaned up when they were done. We have an old building with some complex issues. I’ve called a lot of other plumbers in the past and it’s always been one guessing game after another. Roto will always be the guys I call. 110% recommend and again, can personally vouch for Marcus and Dom.

With a bathroom floor full of clean water I knew the only business I would deal with would be Roto Rooter-Farmingdale, NY due to my previous experience with them a few years ago- and they did not disappoint! Karl, the plumber, was so professional and amiable and finished the job sooner than I had expected. And, he arrived seven minutes sooner than scheduled! There is no question about me using them once again. Highly recommended!

I had a leakage in my basement from the laundry machine and got very worried. I called Roto-Rooters and they immediately sent a professional plumber who used machines to remove the pileup in the pipes and gave me the best service ever. I will highly recommend their services

Called Roto Rooter this morning because of a clog in a pipe that was backing up water into my washer. They sent two repairmen right away and they did a great job. They were both very professional and explained the work to be done. I was very happy with the resuts.

Marc and Don were friendly and professional.
They arrived within an hour of calling on New Years Day.
They managed to our old toilet after the copper overflow pipe snapped off. They went above and beyond in the repair, explained what was needed from the start and the surprise that popped up during the repair.
Plus they did it all for the price original quoted. They left the bathroom clean and even took the time to look at a possible related leak in the basement (under the toilets location).
All in all very happy with the service and would use and recommend Marc agsin.

They came to fix my main line that was clogged and while they were here they recommended me change the position of the return line from the sump pump. I called them because they were the sump pump experts, I thought. So I took the recommendation and they moved the position of the return pipe but left it not secured and on an angle that caused the float of the sump pump to bump against the tank causing an overflow since the float did not rise because of the position they left the return line pipe. If this pipe was a line properly and secured before they left this flood wouldn't have not happened. So yes I had a flood and yet after calling them they won't make themselves responsible even though they said I had a 6-month warranty. They are supposed to be insured for things like this yet they don't want to take responsibility and they said to me straight out that if I paid him another $400 to secure that pipe that they would. I would totally not recommend this company beware of them since they don't do warranties and they seem not to want to use their insurance for damages. The flood caused a short that could have caused a fire in my house but luckily it was not as bad. The second guy who came in broke the accordion door that was for the room of the sump pump by mistake by kicking it yet he didn't report it and they won't be responsible for those damages either. Just for fixing the repiping and unclogging they charge me $1,500 which I paid thinking it was a company I could trust. Now they're charging me $400 to secure a pipe with some screws. Please people beware use other companies and stay away from this one.

I had an issue with a sewage ejector pump on thanksgiving day. I called the emergency service and a plumber came. $418.75 later i was told my pump was bad. The new pump and labor would be $500 for the pump and $800 in labor and they had to order the part. I decided to call another
plumber to come and look at the pump and it turn out there is nothing wrong with the pump, float switch or valves. So basically this company is a bunch of clowns! I will never use the company again! Buyer beware! When the lady on the phone would not give me a price for the service visit i should have known better. Most reputable businesses give a price for a
service call before they show up. Not these criminals.

The guys where professional and Very knowledgeable. Wish they could have shown up when I was scheduled. They kept putting me off. Blamed it on a broken down truck for a week. I used them to locate my waste line but not the pumping out of my cesspool.

Joe Jett 1783 called to let me know he was on his way. Showed up on time. Worked tirelessly trying to unclog the main. Used many procedures. Kept me informed with each step. Provided great info for the future.

Chris was our technician. Very unprofessional. Tried to upcharge us for literally 30 seconds of service. Then as he walks out, he tells my wife “next time you’re gonna call us, get permission from your husband” and walks out. The managers at the branch are even worse. I work in the service industry, this company only cares about MONEY and not customer service. I recommend going elsewhere.

Felt taken advantage of, had a leak on the drain line, they fixed the line on the first floor which cost $1300. Same line started leaking on the 2nd floor. Tech said the work was guaranteed. Btw, he bragged it wouldn’t leak again. Nope, now they want $500 more to fix the new leak on the same line. Tried telling me it’s a different line and rerouted my calls from one person to the next. Once they cashed the first check, they were done with me.

Nam, the Roto-rooter serviceman, was very professional and explained exactly what they were going to do to unclog my kitchen sink drain pipe which was totally impacted with grease. He also explained how to maintain the sink drain. I was very happy with their promptness and the entire operation.

I notified roto rooter for svc not only did i get a quick svc date but they callled and came out earlier. They were very professional, got quick to work and resolved tthe problem in a timely fashion. They are costly but for finishing results and peace of mind it was worth it would definitely recommend.

Ken and Nam arrived sooner than expected, were courteous and professional, and were able to do all the necessary work efficiently. Bonus that both the plumbing and clean up could be done with one stop shopping. Made a trying situation of sewage/drain back up much less stressful.

Outrageous price came as scheduled wanted$540 to snake a kitchen drain I did not accept aprasal an did it myself by renting drain snake from Home Depot cost $52 time, 40 min

The technician named Joe, did a very professional job. He is very helpful and advised me on how to keep the sewage system clean. He even went to the extend to mopped the floor after the work done. Highly recommended and the pricing is very reasonable.

I set up an appointment online to have my leaky hot water heater repaired. A while later I received a phone call telling me it would be 315 dollars just to diagnose the problem. I wish they would have said that on the website so I wouldn't of had to waste my time scheduling the appointment. $315 just to diagnose a problem is robbery.

I called at 8am they guys called me confirmed they will be there in less then 2 hours they were here in an hour very professional and they got to work unclogged the main drain to my house and had everything back to normal quickly they were great!

We thought originally that we had a good job done. But buyer beware i guess. Turns out they didnt fix the problem we had them here for. After talking with other people, there is no way we should have been charged as much as we were for what we had done. Especially since they didnt fix it! Do NOT use roto rooter!

I use roto rooter to jet clean my sewer from my cellar to the street, about 100 feet. They turn the sewer line brand new, I watch the before and after camera footage. No one can give you the peace mind Roto Rooter can. My property is a business, it's an historic b&b and I must be careful whom I trust to do the work. Starting the summer, they come, spend a few hours accomplishing the task and I know I'm great thru my heavy season. Joe was incredible, he was not only meticulous, respectful of the property but was so knowledgeable. He really knew plumbing, equipment and application.

Called for service because of clogged drain pipe. Incident occurred on the 4th of July weekend. Appointment was promptly scheduled and truck appeared right on schedule. Workers were friendly, courteous, and efficient. After assessing the problem they went right to work to fix the problem. They put down drop cloths and were very careful that their equipment did not damage anything. Took less than an hour to clear the drain and clean up. They even offered to return the kitchen table that they moved back to its original position.
