Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I had a sewer emergency on New Years Day. I called the company and scheduled to have a tech come out. While there were many areas of miscommunication during the course of the day which cause frustration, when the tech arrived, he was knowledgeable, very competent and personable. I would recommend this company, solely based on my very positive impression of the tech and his knowledge of his trade.

We had a blocked laundry line that was beyond our expertise to unclog. It was preventing us from using our kitchen sink, dishwasher, washing machine, and utility sink. We reached out to multiple companies in the area and the earliest any of them could get someone out was the next day. Roto-Rooter came out within an hour of us reaching out. Service was quick and professional- Nate S.was our technician. He even cleaned up the space after his work. We are very satisfied and highly recommend Roto-Rooter!

Rob did an awesome job cleaning out my sewer line, and also gave me a lot of good input on how to proceed with upkeep moving forward. I will be calling them again if I need anything in the future.

Called them in to snake the drains under the house and they didn’t even touch the basement drain or it’s another $400 for 1hr of work.probably just call T-Mark

Roto Rooter, your company's actions have left me utterly appalled. The experiences I've endured have convinced me that your practices are deeply embedded in a culture of deceit, discrimination, and price gouging. This goes beyond a mere misstep; it's a systemic issue that strikes at the core of your company's ethics.

I was compelled to utilize your services, only to be subjected to what I can only describe as a maelstrom of fraudulent activities and manipulative pricing. Conversations with your management only further eroded any trust I might have had when they, to my dismay, blatantly lied to my face regarding your services and products.

My grievances don't end there. A simple price comparison with your competitors revealed an egregious price disparity. The very same services I procured from you were available from neighborhood companies at a fraction of the cost you charged, an inexcusable offense.

The outcome was so unsatisfactory that I had to seek the help of another company to rework the job you initially performed. Not only did this alternative provider do a far superior job, but they did it at a price that actually aligns with reality.

It's difficult to put into words how deeply disheartening this experience has been. Your company, in my eyes, represents pure capitalism, a profit-driven endeavor at the cost of honesty, integrity, and fairness.

In the end, I'm left with the strong belief that Roto Rooter, given the extent of its unethical behavior and misrepresentation, should not continue to exist in its current form. The issues I've faced mirror the concerns raised by countless past and recent customers on the Better Business Bureau platform.

I can't stress enough the need for a comprehensive review and a meaningful rectification of these issues. Roto Rooter must take a hard look at its practices and pricing, aligning them with market standards and its stated commitment to quality, customer service, and values. Your company's actions have left me profoundly disappointed, and I hope this feedback serves as a catalyst for much-needed change.

If I could give negative review I would. They have delayed my appointment twice after I kept telling them that it’s urgent. On the third time I asked if they could sent me a confirmation email so I can show my tenant that they are coming but the lady said they can’t and I told her they previously sent me confirmation so why can’t they now and the lady literally says well sir it’s not us we can’t do anything about it and was being rude the whole call and due to the unprofessional I literally cancel my third appointment oh yea also on the third appointment they said they would come in 11 but then they delayed it again until 3pm. Don’t recommend highly unprofessional and rude customer service.

The plumber that performed the service, Albert did an excellent job. He was extremely professional and completely knew what he was doing. He finished the job in a timely and efficient manner and charged a reasonable price.

I had used roto rooter many years ago and the service was great then. Here it is years later and they still have same great service they come within the time frame they say and our service person Andy, knew what he had to do and got our drains unclogged. I would recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work done.

Good service, same day service. Was disconnected multiple times trying to call back after confirmation call went straight to voicemail. Service person was generally good. Website stated employees automatically would be wearing a mask but I had to ask him to put one on before entering my home. He then gave me his opinion on the COVID vaccine, which I also could have done without. Will use the service again, just wasn't the interaction that I wanted.

The service was great- the serviceman was prompt, friendly and very thorough informing me of the problem and options, etc. I would (and have) use this company again. He cleaned out the lines.

Their technician was able to diagnose and repair a potentially costly issue that 72 Degrees/The Plumber wasn't able to. He saved me thousands.

James was incredibly thorough in finding the source of the backed up water problem. He worked for several hours to unclog the exterior drain pipe. If he wasn’t so resourceful, I could have easily spent 10’s of thousands of $ to figure out the problem. Thank you James.

Joe was forthcoming with all the costs involved, and stuck through the arduous process of locating and clearing the blockage in our sewage pipes. The technician James C 3380 was very polite and timely. He efficiently fixed my problem the drain appears to be draining well. Although I haven’t done anything yet where a lot of water is going down sewer drain. So fingers crossed. Thank you very much. Would use your service again if needed.

I would have given a five but it took a week to get someone out. Nick and Josh were absolutely wonderful. They came out on a Sunday during a terribly hot and rainy day. They were very professional and kept us up to date on what needed to be done along the way. This is our first time dealing with Roto Rooter but would highly recommend them.

The serviceman came and installed a new water heater this past Monday (Labor Day). He did a good job. When showing me the finished product, one of the pipes was leaking. He said it was condensation. Tuesday - it was still leaking. Made an appointment for that day - they never came. Wednesday - make an appointment for noon. At 7: 00 that evening, they called and said they had to reschedule for today (Friday - 9: 00 am). They never came again and have not called. The serviceman was great (not wearing a mask though) and my 11-year son said he heard more F-words from the basement than he hears at school, but getting a serviceman here now is a problem. For almost $1900 ($300 more than the highest estimate from other companies), I expect better customer service.

I had a clogged kitchen sink line cleaned by Tom. He did a great job snaking the line, then cleaned up afterwards. About an hour later we noticed a water leak under the sink and he returned within 2 hours to repair the leak. All services were performed in a timely and professional manner. This is the second time we’ve had RotoRooter plumbing services and are very pleased with their service.

We had two clogged drainage lines, one clogged by roots, the other ran under our driveway and had recently collapsed and was full of gravel. They installed two new lines to our street receptor. Checking after a heavy rain, both lines flowed perfectly.

I had a sewer back up into my basement bathroom.they kept me informed as to how long before I would get service. I called at 9pm they told me it would be around 12: 30 am I was called that the service man James C was on his way he got here at 1am. He was very polite assessed the issue gave me a price and got straight to work. I would call them again and recommend them.

Roto Rooter installed a new toilet in July, 2021. The service and the plumber were very helpful and I'm satisfied with the new toilet.

My appointment was a 10-2 spot. Took time off work to be home and they didn't arrive until 6pm! When they finally arrived service was great. Can't say anything bad about my service guy.

Main drain was plugged. Basement toilet and shower backed up. Service tech was friendly, efficient, explained the problem and what cost could be before he did the work. Completed job in timely manner and cleaned up after himself.

Mark from Rotor Router did a great job on fixing our water backup in sink. We would highly recommend his services. He did it in timely and professional matter.

The work done was quick and easy. The service man explained everything that was going to happen. The only down side was the timing. Dispatch and the first person I talked to provided a time frame and the service man was later than the set expectation.

We always use roto rooter. They are quick, very reasonsable, reliable and super friendly. We always refer them to friends when they need a plumber.

Daniel cleared the main sewer line from the street and everything is moving along just fine now. Very professional service and all questions were answered as needed. 6 month warranty on the service was a nice touch and I'm glad I called.

Turns out I went with a local business and had a guy in and out in a hour with the issue fixed. Roto-Rooter was there for a few hours, charged the same amount and didn’t fix the issue

Great customer service over the phone, the Plummer came thought with a plan of action, look at the problem and dressed accordingly. He came back with the equipment and when to work. Very nice guy indeed. Awesome work.

THE PEOPLE SENT OUT BY ROTOROOTER WERE THE BEST. THEY CAME THE NEXT DAY TO REPLACE MY SEWER LINE. THEY DID THE WORK QUICKLY. THEY PRESERVED MOST OF MY FLOWER GARDEN AND LAWN. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT WHERE THEY PILED THE DIRT AND CLEANED UP. I WOULD RECOMEND THEM TO EVERYONE.
