Staff is atrocious but especially the lady who takes phone calls. Such a great golf course and it’s a shame they let it go to waste with unqualified rude people. Hoping one day this golf course gets their act together

Course in very good shape. It was very very humid the day we played. Very nice staff. Watch out for the yellow jackets on the 13/15th fairways.

Every time I visit, this course looks new, and I like to play. But beware of employees' attitudes; they are hungry for tips.

One of my favorites. It's a rather easy yet not too difficult coueses. The grass isn't in the best condition, but it's not too crowded, and the stunning scenery on every hill is a highlight.

In my golf life for 20 years, it was my first to be requested for payment for golf cart for 2 people even for single player. And 41 dollars for cart in public course? ! Ridiculous.

Had a 4: 50 t time and quickly realized they overbooked the day. 2-3 groups waiting at 1 hole. Barely finished 9 holes before the aggressive ranger kicked us off screaming how they close at 8pm. We get it, you guys are a state park that closes at dusk but how about schedule your players with some brains. Never coming back.

Worst bunch of incompetent state employees running the place. Don't waste your money. No fun!

The staff is not the nices but there are ok the course is in good shape except the sand traps very bad overall for the price it is a nice way to spend a day playing golf

Terrible, staff are just awful people, definitely not a "hidden gem", its barely maintained nowadays as the staff are just berating customers at the clubhouse instead of actually working. Almost got hit twice by the party playing behind me as they try to rush everyone in to maximize profits but without any care to quality or customer service/experience nor putting those profits back into the course. It used to be nice but certainly not anymore. Avoid at all costs and spend your money at a better playable friendly course. My best guess is since its State owned, the people working here don't have to care.

Shame on you NY state. All the golf courses I have played still follow COVID protocols. This State run course force you to ride with a stranger and have you wait for a golf cart even though there were plenty of carts available, even when you ask to pay extra for your safety. But the worst part is they charge you full $41 to share a cart with a stranger and promise a refund for half the cart cost and still no credit on my account. NY please practice what you preach in the future, I'm still waiting for my credit. Profit before safety from a state run facility shame on you.

Hidden gem. Beautiful, well-maintained course that offers nice variety, lush landscapes, great views and a full 18 that's challenging and fun. Shocking how nice this course is considering we only paid $18 for twighlight golf (18). Greens and fairways are immaculate. Some holes are pretty unforgiving and narrow so expect to lose some balls we also spotted quite a few. Overall, very pleased!

Long, challenging course. Lots of raised greens, which putt slow. Could be wet and marshy;avoid after a rainy day.

The course is kept well, however the bunkers have dirt, and I was told they were suppose to fill with sand later on. Course layout is challenging and sometimes confusing. Price for the carts went up two dollars to a total of 40 dollars. Specials have to be paid 10 minutes before the tee time, you cannot pay earlier or else you pay 5 dollars or more extra. Range during greens play was closed off when we were there. It's not a bad place, beautiful view and I respect the staff. Since it's state owned there are administrative things that will be learned at the time you get there as you can read for my review. If you enjoy the game of golf then come out and enjoy this place for the love of the game.

Course was in great shape. Haven't played here in 20 years.only downside was there were no teebox markers and very little distance measurements (1oo/150/200) yards out.
You need to play it a few times to get a feel for the pace of the greens and also to determine where you need to be positioned. And the price is right. All in all a great Fathers day treat.

The course is in the best shape I've ever seen it in before. Great work on the irrigation.

Need to push the pace a lot. Lots of golfers are playing very slow and hit several tee shots. Rangers seemed they push for fast play but these people are not following. Avg 5 mins wait in the tee box.
