Driver had an attitude and dropped the car off on the side walk instead of the parking spot at the shop.

Great service. Very courteous. The driver was extremely careful with our car. The dispatcher was sympathetic to my dilemma and understood what needed to be done. I would use as often as necessary. Great job guys. Thanks.

Had our car impounded and had to deal with all the stress of getting it released. The only part of the process that was easy was dealing with the towing company. The service manager was nice to my wife, who was having the worst day, the gentleman answering the phones was nice to me and helpful in getting it released, and the driver, Kenny, was an absolute delight and was one of the friendlier people I have met in NY. Being nice and easy to work with made the painful process less painful and I truly appreciate it and I feel is lacking in a lot of today's establishments.

Went off the road on saw mill parkway during the last snow event.manville rd. Westchester county police called RJB who has a state NYDOT contract to tow. He pulled me out 3 ft to roadway and told me $250.00 plus taxes. I saw the posted rates and argued fraudulent overcharging and was told he was taking my car if I dont pay now! This company uses MAFFIA like tactics but I wrote to the State attorney general waiting for reply.

My Insurance company arranged for RJB to come and tow my car because I and the 1st roadside assistant they sent me couldn't get the flat tire off. When RJB got here (early by the way) the driver asked if I wanted them to try to get it off. I said Yes! He checked with his dispatch to see if it was OK, they said yes and about 3 minutes later my spare was on the car! Thank you for saving me a tow and hours of waiting at the service station, I appreciate it!

This company refuses to provide me with a record of my tow so i could dispute my tolls tickets.

Insurance contacted them they were supposed to arrive 90 mins later sat in 90 degree heat for 2 hrs all the time watching the app for updated ETA finally called them and they said they canceled me an hour and a half ago because it was too far to go
they never told insurance company they canceled they knew where the car was so why accept in the first place if it was too far is there zero stars?

Husband's car stopped and the insurance contacted them. They were supposed to arrive within an hour with the app showing that the driver was on their way. After waiting over an hour with no show, called the company and they said they cancelled. No notice, no phone call, no nothing. Not like they did not have a number to contact if they were not going to show up. If they could not show up, they could've at least had the common courtesy to contact us so that we could contact the insurance or made our own arrangements elsewhere. Instead, they did not reach out to us or our insurance. Ridiculous business practice with total disregard for their customers.

On May 20,2021 after agreeing to the address for my car battery jump service request with the RJB Service Station/Towing through my insurance company, I waited thirty minutes for their tow truck driver to cover the 22 minute distance of where I was located, for their driver to call me to accuse me of providing the wrong address. There was consensus on my address with the RJB Towing office. The driver was argumentative and I told him I didn't want to argue but needed him to aid me. The driver said he was coming. Instead the driver cancels my service request with my insurance company right after I spoke with the driver. I called my insurance company right after this call with the tow truck driver and the insurance company tells me that RJB canceled on me. I was on the service road. What would happen if I was on the highway? Extremely rude, unprofessional and dangerous. They are supposed to know the area they service. The driver never made an earnest attempt to find the location where I was especially as I explained it to him like a baby. RJB Service Station/Towing has no conscience leaving a woman on the side of the road and being disrespectful stating I gave the wrong address when the tow truck driver and his RJB office dispatcher don't communicate properly? And having the gall to cancel my service call without consulting with me especially when he said he was coming to help me! My regular mechanic made a courtesy ride and found me and started my car in two minutes. RJB Towing-you should be put out of business. And I will let my insurance company know!

I had a tire blow out the other night, far from home, in a not-so-safe area. I called for roadside assistance. RJB responded and their driver Marcelo (?) was fantastic. He kept in touch with me on his way, stuck around until an Uber came to get me late at night and he let me know once he dropped my car off for service. He took the edge off an otherwise unnerving experience, which was greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the service! It was a smooth process from beginning to end. Gio was very personable & professional. He transported my car to my mechanic in a timely manner. I would recommend you guys to anyone!

Operator rushed me and threatened to charge me more if I did not pay him on the spot, even though I had already paid through a third party. They then went on to charge me $70 more than the original price. Recommend using Hannigan’s in Port Chester instead.

I had a wonderful experience with one of your drivers. Kenny, was a great help and very accommodating. By far the best experience I've had regarding my vehicle ever. Seriously, impressed!

I only had one question there was a $25 toll fee that I paid but did not get a receipt for. If someone could get that for me it would be greatly appreciated!

Very good people. I called 2 xs through geico anc they’re always fast, reliable and very friendly! On 2/22/21 I forgot the guys name he went out of his way for me! And today Mario was a great help very friendly!

My car was towed as abandoned property while I had covid. Due to quarantine requirements I was unable to pick up my car for 10 days.

While the experience could have been a five star one, a few things made me take off a few stars:
1. They were willing to listen about my covid diagnosis and did provide a reasonable discount on the bill. This is where their niceties end.
2. I went to go get money from the bank (they are cash only) and they started to renegotiate the charges. This is where the stars come off. What kind of reputable business would do this?
3. They also suggested I call my insurance company for “roadside assistance” in order for an additional discount to be provided.

Overall what could have been a five star interaction with them turned into this two star review.

Overall lesson learned with rjb. Have the cash in your pocket otherwise these guys will attempt to renegotiate and take you for your money!
