I recommend Mary, the massage she did was very professional. I had a body treatment using lavender essential oil and it was very effective in relaxing my neck and shoulders. Thanks the masseuse for adjusting the intensity to help me relax them. Would highly recommended.

Had a wonderful experience here with my wife. The staff was friendly and welcomed us in as a walk in right as they opened. We both did a 60min foot massage and the massage therapists were amazing. Both were very strong, but gentle when needed. We enjoyed it so much we actually fell asleep a few times! The chairs are extremely comfortable! Don’t hesitate to come!

LOVE this place! No frills, real deep tissue massage. I’ve booked with many different masseuses over the years and they are all fantastic. And the prices are unbeatable. 10/10

Great use of $40 to relax for an hour and relieve those sore feet.
Masseuses have very firm pressure; a little tender at times but you can let them know to be lighter. We’ll be back for the body massage.

Have been coming here for the last five years. The staff is super kind, and can often times get in day off or if I walk in it’s a short wait time. Love coming here for self-care moment, I always leave feeling rejuvenated. The massage can be modified for your needs, and today, they went to town on my neck and shoulders, which was amazing!

Today is my first time here at Renew Day, and I am so happy that I found this place, May did and excellent job with my full body massage, I will recommended this place 100%, I feel so good Omg was awesome.

Came to Renew Day Spa while visiting NYC and let me tell you, they did not disappoint at all. I was amazed with my service which was the 60 minute body works for $50! My boyfriend and I just booked to come back tomorrow, that’s how amazing our massages were. Definitely worth every penny and more!

The place was very clean, and the masseuse was skilled and able to adjust to my preference for how strong a massage I wanted. Also, they didn't pressure me to tip and were able to adjust to my schedule. I felt very relaxed afterwards!

We went here after dinner for a foot rub… And we got stuck in the front room, which was light and noisy. The foot rubs were good, but the atmosphere was terrible. If you go here… Please request space in the back where it is dark and quiet.

I have been coming here regularly now ever since I had some pain in my neck one day and decided to try it.

Usually do a full body massage.
And I have had great experience with it I usually ask for the same person since I started and it’s amazing.

I also have tried their hour long foot massage and they are amazing to. The pressure is strong and I feel so much better. They hit pressure point on your feet which feel a bit hard at first but after the massage feels amazing.

Definitely recommend. I also suggest calling to reserve a time slot because the place does get a bit busy.

I went 3 times. First time was ok beside set on hallway which was uncomfortable; Second time masseur had flu and had to leave 3 time during work. He was friendly and did ok job; Third time Masseur was unhappy, tried to explain to him, he said he doesn’t understand. I had pain for two more days after the massage. They are not well trained. I have been coming here for 7 years and I love it. I have referred many friends as well. Their new facility is an upgrade. If you can frequent here enough to find a masseuse or masseur that works for you, then ask them their name and request them on your next visit! The employees are very professional and I always leave feeling so good. Renew is one of my NYC staples.

Edit: no longer worth the massage. The quality of their massages have gone down. Barely any pressure and they push you to add on services. No longer relaxing or pain relieving.

This place is amazing and both my husband and I have had amazing massages from here for years- it's very quiet (other than the timer going off, but hey, it's a no-frills spot!), they play soft, soothing music during the massage, and the masseuse does a number of different things - dry massage, massage with oil/lotion, and even incorporates hot stone massage techniques! It felt like we were robbing them given how little they were charging us (Used to be $36 for a 60-minute massage and not up to $45 if paying cash)

My favorite spot for no frills full body massage to get the knots out! I will be back for sure. Perfect for deep tissue especially after a hard workout.

I've been coming here at LEAST once a month since May and I love it. I've brought a few friends to try it out and they love it as well. HIGHLY reccomend. Front and back staff are lovely as well!

One of the best full body massages, and foot reflexology in nyc, and i have tried minimum 25 salons. The masseue was very attentive to my address I wanted her to focus on, and really good At unclogging the knots in my neck. The foot reflexology takes the cake for me. Perfect balance of the synchronizational healing if pain pleasure

I'd give it a 6/10. I got 90mins massage, after 30 mins is when the actual massage began after the warm up. Full body missed feet and anterior side. Neck and feet need more time. The communication gap makes it very hard to communicate. I'll give another chance maybe and update review. Also one of the lil bumps on my face got popped. Hot towel is standard at other places but was missing here. Makes a pretty significant difference on cleaning and the whole experience. I felt like they were a little complacent because of their reviews and ratings. Some policies by the manager a little annoying like not being able to use extra time on same day for waiting even of staff is available.

Update 7/24/21. Second time experience was much better. Demi hit the spot. They also raised their prices. Its $48/hr now. Would be great if the front desk can be more friendly and engage with their customers instead of just being on their phones. Would also help if there was some glute work and more. Neck time.

I booked a couple’s hot stone massage for the weekend and it’s worth every single penny! My masseur Niko did a very great job in releasing the tension around my neck and lower back area, it’s so relaxing after a long week of work. Though one little thing is there are moments where I heard the other workers talking outside my room and I wished they would be mindful of their voice cause that was a little distracting, I’d understand though since the layout of the space is quite small and everyone is working in the same space.but! Otherwise its an amazing experience and would highly recommend my friends to stop by for a massage!

Sooo good! The day spa that my family went to for decades closed bc of Covid, and I was heart broken since I thought nothing would compare. Well it turns out that there was something better - renew day spa! This place is amazing, i muscles like steel wire that was taken OUT with the CBD oil and the amazing work of the staff. Recommended it to all my coworkers and I’m going to tell my family that we have a new place to go to for some deep relaxation. This is the place! All the compliments to Daisy, a polite and amazing masseuse!

Ive been going to Renew Day Spa for years. Absolute best massage in NYC for the price, without question. I travel from W 42nd st.because they do such a good job. Their new location is a complete upgrade from the old one. The massage beds are brand new and extremely comfortable. The entire experience is wonderful.

Came on a recommendation from a friend and left really disappointed. Received a lazy masseuse for a 1hr Body and 30 min foot, but the masseuse completely decided to skip my head despite me asking her, and spent just seconds on my arms and hands. Instead she kept massaging my back, using the same motion over and over again at a snails pace. Further, when asking her to apply more pressure, she would increase pressure for a few minutes then would let up. Eventually it becomes a hassle to keep monitoring my own masseuse and I gave up. The price of the massage is also slightly more expensive than other in the area, but only by a few dollars. The front desk was very professional and gave me a coupon for my trouble but I'll give it to my friend as I wont return. I recommend if you come back here, be sure to tell the front desk your desired areas so you don't receive one a masseuse offers no flexibility, and some accountability can be held. Ultimately I left with the same knots I came in with, which is always a bummer, and I'll have to find the time go to another massage.

First time based on reviews as I usu go to a soho spa. Experience wasn’t great but I still tipped well. I’m literally sore still and it was two days ago. The guy was so rough, literally massaging me with his elbows and forearms, digging in my back muscles and my shins, leg feels bruised smh. I’ll need my heating pad tonight. Don’t think I’ll be back.

You know when it just meets your expectation (nothing to exceed expectation), it’s one of those places. The front desk was courteous and flexible. It was definitely painful at some points and you need to guide the masseuse on how much pressure to apply (the language barrier made it challenging as she was doing her best to check in if I was ok and had trouble understanding when I say “less pressure/no more” lol). I had pain in my shoulders and low back hours later after the massage so I can’t tell if that’s normal. I don’t think this would be my go to place for a massage next time I’m In Chinatown. The value is great though (45$ for 1 hour full body and I left a 5 hr tip). You save $ by paying in cash and not paying taxes on the massage thru CC (4-5$ that could go towards tipping the workers instead).

I have a lot of back pain and I love to go to Renew Day Spa to help alleviate pain. Everything is clean, professional and I always feel better after. If I could come every week, I would!
