Our car was just towed here after an accident. The staff were extremely helpful and informative during this time of handling the car and how to proceed with the insurance process.

I drove up to Binghamton from Long Island and my car had an issue two blocks away from my hotel… luckily after a 4 1/2 hour drive I made it to the hotel parking lot which happened to be across the street from Ray’s. First thing the next morning I called, and they were super pleasant, accommodating, and incredibly helpful right from the start. Greg and the staff were dedicated to getting my car back in driving condition so I could make it home that night. I am grateful for their expertise, as well as their kindness!

I highly recommend this place, they are honest, fair, fast and do excellent work. By far the best mechanic I have ever been to. I have brought my car here several times over the past few weeks, and most recently my car was not going into park. They were able to take me the next day despite already looking pretty busy and it was done in a matter of hours

Came to the accident once they were called to tow my car. The driver was very helpful in describing the next steps and what to expect going forward. Since it was my first accident and tow, that was very reassuring.

After a fender bender our car was towed to Ray's.
Ray charged $729 just for towing.
We were never given the option to tow the car to our house.

If you need a tow or fair rates, Ray's is not the place to call!

Really great guys at Ray's Auro. I needed an estimate on only a 2 year old, 8,800 mile Rogue windshield wiper transmission. I decided to call Nissan and it's NOW All paid for! Nissan agreed with me. Thank you.

I whole heartedly recommend Ray's Auto shop for the Binghamton area. While passing through the Binghamton area, my alternator stopped working. A stranger recommended Ray's Auto. I called close to closing and explained my situation. From out of area, passing through. Looking for a repair that evening if possible as my whole family was with me.
Ray went the extra mile to hunt down an alternator part, and also checked with his guys to see if anyone could stay late to work the repair. Ray was genuine and patient while working with me to figure out what the best chances were.
Greg was a God-send as he stepped up and agreed to work the repair that night to get my family back on the road, as we weren't from the area. After a couple of hours for the repair, my car was working again with the alternator change. Greg also took extra time to explain to me different things about the repair. Afterwards we chatted a little more about life and reminders.
Overall, both were genuine and I felt blessed to have met them at the time that I did, as they understood the situation I was in and both stepped up to help in the manner they could.

Absolutely recommend giving them a call to find out what they can do to help when you need repairs.

I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Good service, open on Saturdays, central location.what more can you ask for from a mechanic?

Ray’s has been amazing! They saved us a ton making recommendations for what to fix now, what has some more life left in it, and sometimes performing repairs instead of always just replacing parts! Additionally, we broke down while out of town and Ray took the time to make sure we were safe and talk us through the situation including helping us get to a mechanic and back on the road ASAP. We could not be more pleased with the service we have received so far! Referred by a friend and we will definitely be making referrals ourselves!

My father had all his work done here and even purchased a few cars. He would spend days just visiting twith the guys. I can even still call after the loss of my Dad for some helpful car advice from NC.

Been coming here for 10 years and after dealing with these scumbags in the CVS parking lot they lost my business and 3 other people's business that have routinely been customers and had their vehicles serviced at Ray's. Also number of friends choose to shop at other locations rather than CVS as well.

We aren't from the Binghamton area but my son's car broke down in Binghamton. Luckily we found Ray's. They were extremely accommodating and professional. We are very happy with the work and the car is working again.
