The reason I gave the low rating is due To the food that was served during my company's holiday party. Veggies, over cooked & soggy, pasta was sticky, heavy, & undercooked, the chicken french, soggy. The breaded coating was cominwsd g off. BUT, now the bread sticks & mashed potatoes were outstanding. The club house it self was well appointed.
Great course! Electric carts with GPS, gorgeous clubhouse, extremely well kept course, and paved cart paths throughout. Course is challenging, and a great time to play.
I enjoyed golfing here. It had a very well maintained course. The clubhouse is fantastic. Great hospitality. Now all I have to do is improve my golf game!
The staffs grumpy and unapproachable attitude made this experience incredibly poor. When we first arrived, we were impressed with the beauty of the course but immediately turned off at check in and again at the 1st tee with our starter. Staff was rude and snobby.
Staff was rude from the start, walked into the pro shop 5 minutes before my tee time and the staff was unapproachable and unfriendly, and our starter was confrontational and rude.
Overall for $72, I’ve experienced much better quality and friendlier staff, recommend Greystone for those considering other options.
I've heard so much about this golf course and I'm happy to say it exceeded expectations. The fairways were immaculate; I've never played on such short fairway grass. Actually for me it made it harder to hit fairway woods. The greens were true and running fast. Great views with challenging holes yet usually pretty wide landing zones off the tee. Lots of bunkers and I had more than my fair share of experience with them! But they were all in great shape with softer sand than any public or semi-private course I've played. The softer sand to me seemed easier to hit out of. Looking forward to going back next year!
Held our annual Fire Department banquet here today. Special year as the Department is celebrating 100 years of service to the Bloomfield community. Everything went well!
Played today. Course was in great shape. Some of the best kept bunkers I have seen anywhere. Greens came back nicely from being aerated. Very enjoyable
Played Ravenwood on November 9th. The course was in excellent shape. I'd compare it to mid season conditions. Fairways were in great shape, the greens were rolling true.
Always great conditions, no matter the weather. Fairways so nice, you'll want to walk barefoot. Also has nice practice facilities, lit driving range, and a massive putting green to get you ready for this challenging course!
Of course was an excellent shape all employees treat you with respect I would definitely Play It Again greens were outstanding and Fairways are in great shape two thumbs up
Visiting from Ontario, this was our only golf round in the finger lakes region and I must say that we will be happy to return. The staff was very welcoming from bag drop to pro shop; and clubhouse was clean and inviting. The driving range and practice facilities were in top-tier condition. The only suggestion I can make is to charge a little less for range balls or include them with the green fee. The course layout is ideal, very picturesque and well maintained throughout the championship 18; the lack of divots and ballmarks made for smooth approach shots and greens rolled very pure. My hat is off to the maintenance crew. This course made us feel at home despite being away from home. Looking forward to returning in the near future!
Made the turn this morning in around 1 hour and 15 minutes only to get to 10 and find they are sanding the greens. Waited 15-20 minutes after our drive to hit our next shot. When we asked the greens keeper if this was happening on every hole, we got a "yeah". I understand maintenance has to happen and the course is in phenomenal shape, but there was no mention of this when we paid and definitely no reduced greens fee. Great place, but it will be awhile before I consider playing here again.
My brother and I have played this course 2 years in a row during our golf trips to the Victor area. We enjoyed the course and will play it again when we visit in the future.
Held my daughter's wedding there June 4th and was overwhelmed by the venue, the food, the ambiance and the professional staff, especially Bridget who was there 100pct from the planning stages throughout the special day. Not a detail was missed and her personality made everyone feel at ease. Many people commented how great the whole event was a tremendous experience.
Hosted my Daughter's wedding there Friday afternoon. Bridget is an amazing coordinator! Words fall short for her professionalism, kindness, sense of humor, and organization. The service was amazing! The food was very good. Definitely recommend.
A beautiful day at a course well presented. The weather went from very cold, to cold and dewy, windy, sunny and cold, to impending storm clouds, but we just cleared 18 holes. Despite the effort by the club, no doubt, too many divits on faraway and green, which was too bad! I loved the GPS screen on each cart - saves lots of time. I had a great time.
The course was in great shape, and the greens were challenging but true. Many bunkers but the sand was good for the most part, except for the ones that were too wet. It rained just before or tournament.
This was the nicest course I have ever played. The employees were very friendly and everything was really well maintained. It was a decent price as well.
Beautiful golf course in pristine condition. Low to mid handicap course that makes you pay for errant approach shots. Accuracy is a must here. Nice layout but from the 19th hole you can see 7 fairways side by side.kinda back and forth looking. Pro shop staff is a bit unwelcoming compared to the welcoming you receive from Ivy Ridge or other high end public courses in our area. But you dont play here for the hospitality, you play here for the challenges of course. We will definitely play Ravenwood again this season and put in our rotation of courses to play in the following years. Only reason for the 4stars is because of the lack of welcome for new golfers to the course. Definitely recommend playing here for the beauty and challenge of the course
First out this morning and played in 2.5 hours. The course is in great shape. Very playable course. Everything is right in front of you. Attitude in the pro shop. Good value.
The course was in amazing shape for the amount of rain we had. I would consider it a links style course which are not my preference but this one is very nice. The course is very challenging lots of sand around the greens and landing points. Throw a little wind in your face and the par 4s play like par 5s. The staff from the greeter to the starter to the cook and new bartender were all exceptional.
The company I work for had a golf afternoon and 20 of us descended on this course. We had some experience players, some like myself that had not played in 20 years and a few that had never played at all. They were very helpful in managing our chaos and the service overall was excellent. The course was very nice, the fairways looked more like greens and I was worried about hitting the ball as they looked so nice. Lots of well maintained sand traps and overall nice look to the course.
Ravenwood Golf Club is a lovely place for a group to hold meetings! The facilities were excellent, friendly, and very clean. The food was very tasty too!
