Radio City Music Hall

I worked at Radio City as a Lead Page for the Guest Relations Dept lead by Bill Lewis and Anthony Baldi during the 1980's when the theater and staff had elegance and class. I went last week to take my wife who always wanted to see the show. I felt as if we were at an airport trying to catch a flight. The door staff were very rude, loud, and argumentative. Once inside merchandise was being sold everywhere like hotdogs on the street. This joined with patrons entering took away the experience to truly enjoy the magnificent beauty of the theater. I also observed the staff attire looked sloppy as they were dressed in black. The only saving grace was the show itself which my wife enjoyed as she watched like a child being amazed. Madison Square Garden has taken the theater over I learned. They should turn back the page and run it the way it used to be. We as patrons pay way too much to not receive the best experience. I hope the board of directors actually get to read this review.

We were watching the Rockkets Christmas show.
Well, I have to say that the theater itself is beautiful, it is much more impressive inside than outside, and without a doubt anyone who goes to NY and there is a show I recommend that they go, the acoustics are wonderful and their antique seats are comfortable, That chair catches you and you become part of the spectacle.
I would definitely repeat and to see the same show again

Pretty inside, entrance supee fast. Clean restrooms. And I was super surprised that sits are not as reduced as other theaters!

Saw the Christmas show! Wonderful! Can walk from Rockefeller area.
Sat towards front of 1st mezzanine, great seats.

We went to see the Rockettes over winter break and had a great time. Getting in was seamless, there was staff to assist at most doors to ensure we got to our seats. The bathroom was clean and being that I have a child, I appreciate the toilet covers. The show was amazing, and getting out was mostly seamless.

The Christmas Spectacular is a singular experience that must be experienced at least once. At 68, saw it for the 1st time in 2023, and hope to see again. The best stage productions I've experienced. Go early listen to the theatre organ.

Rockette show was beautiful as always.

Only complaint is the wave of people leaving is very chaotic. Would like to see an easier procession if at all possible.

The best show to see during the holiday season. Must see it at least once. The blocks nearby get crowded with people. I advise coming early, enjoyable for older children. I took my young children and he/ she didn't sit through the show.

Must do at least once in a lifetime. Memorable experience to visit a theater like this, specially this one. Watched The Rockettes perform. They run this show each year from mid November to beginning of January. A spectacular show. Highly recommended. The ladies dance in complete coordination. Impressive how they don't miss a beat and everyone is perfectly on cue the entire 90 minutes. The decor of this theater, down to it's bathrooms take you back in time. Just beautiful. They have a huge crew of attendants guiding you in, around, and out the theater. Put it on your list of MUST DOs and visit.

This theater is an icon in the Manhattan area, we attended the Rockettes Christmas show, it is a musical with dance all allegorical to Christmas. Very nice show. It is worth going to see it.and enjoy it!

We saw the last Rockette’s show of the Christmas season and it was as spectacular as if it were their 1st show of the season! It has been on my bucket list since ai was a girl and it did not disappoint! Thanks for a great show!

I booked 2 months ahead of time for the Christmas Spectacular. Since i was a child we used to come watch The Rockettes. I remember they used to show a movie premiere and afterwards a show. Now things have really evolved with amazing sound, great visuals, great costumes and acting, 3D effects, the always live orchestra, the HD video screen as big and as clear as IMAX, and of course the Rockettes who are always amazing.
