Took 13 business days to change a sensor and do a oile change and inspection. Communication was non existent. Was told would receive calls from tech and did not.
I had my car serviced here for the first time. Regular LOF with wipers and open recalls. Took about a week to get my vehicle serviced even though I was told the latest it would be completed would be Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Was not completed by then. After the car was completed. It was picked up but found that everything in the car was a mess. The seats had covers on that I had installed, were removed and just thrown to the side. There was dirt and other debris all over the inside of the car. As someone who also works in the same field of work, the lack of professionalism is disappointing.
Service was the worst I ever received. Asked Charles for updated on van and he even called me. I had to drive to place for update. Was told after 3 days can would be ready. Every day afterwards Charles would say end of day ready 3 additional days past. When speaking to manager he said part was not in. Charles tells me part was in days ago but just no time to put in. I left several messages for manager to call me not one call back. When I asked why he never called me his answer was “you were next to call”. What a joke they are. I would never ever go back or recommend ford to anyone. Terrible terrible terrible service.
Nothing as they wouldn't honor my extended warranty. I should have read reviews first as appears they have done down right illegal practice with many customers ie.while customers car was with them their gas tank deleted way below when left off n oh yes toll for verrazano bridge while they had the car. Amazing they are still in business!
The negative reviews you have read are true in regard to the following: The time it takes for a simple oil change or tire rotation are ridiculous. A lot of mechanics are standing around doing nothing or eating/smoking/drinking coffee. Communication is non existent, so the speed of your service pends on your ability to kindly nudge them in the right direction.
Premier Ford of Bay Ridge I highly recommend. Excellent customer service all around. All the workers greet. Today, I spoke with Paul, who’s professional, great customer service, knowledgeable and helped me in a fast paste. I really appreciate the help today, thanks again.
HORRIBLE! DON'T GO HERE. They held my car for days and didn't even look at it. I pulled it out and they had the nerve to charge me a fee. Please don't use this place EVER!
The service department has lot of spiteful people working in there I have two ford's and ism getting rid of them for that reason not to deal with them they kept the car 2 days for 10 minute update on the module.i won't recommend anyone to buy from premier.
Went their as I had a power steering assist fault, mentioned I wanted to use my military discount, waited nearly two months to get back my car, ended up being overcharged on all parts, the hood of my car making a rambling sound every time I drive, not even getting my military discount, a power transfer unit leak that they apparently didn't notice until the day before pickup, which was funny because I had the car inspected by another mechanic who didnt even see any leaking at all when he checked under my car.even then that surprise wasn't enough, as my 02 sensor went out as well, which I read here is something that always happens as well.
Mechanics there are useless, Reps there are untrustworthy and horrendous, if your power steering on your Ford is screwed, I highly recommend you don't go here, please listed to the real reviews, they're the reason I am no longer getting anything related to the Ford brand.
I took my car in on a Friday for safety recalls. When I dropped it off Gary told me it would be ready by Wednesday or Thursday the following week. On Wednesday I called a few times and was told only Gary could tell me when my car would be ready and that he’d call me back, Gary never called. On Thursday I called a few more times and finally Gary answered, Gary told me the parts to fix the door recall just came in and it would be ready Saturday. On Friday I got a message from Gary saying car was good to be picked up Saturday AM and that my battery “needs replacement” I told Gary I’d take of that myself as I didn’t trust Gary or anyone there after the bad communication. Saturday I showed up and Gary hands me the keys and doesn’t say much, I go to start the car and it was totally dead. When I said something to him he says I told you it was dead. To me needs replacement and won’t start is a different scale so it was not what I was expecting especially because when I dropped it off everything was working fine. Gary jumped my car and I replaced the battery myself, whatever they did to fix the door latches has mad the windows fit very tight and now they squeak something awful when going up or down.
I wish I read the reviews for recalls before going because a lot of people mention leaving with problems they didn’t show up with. This place is awful at communicating and terrible mechanics. Don’t go here!
Had trouble with their service department not wanting to do warranty work n not working on a car over 120,000 miles. Spoke to Joe in sales who said he oversees the service department n was concerned with the treatment i received. Joe never got back to me n when i called for follow up he wasnt at his deck, on the phone n never called back. My last call the receptionist asked why i didnt just come down to see joe. I asked why - you said he's not at his desk, busy on the phone. These guys will jerk you around. Go to Ford dealership on Glenwood road. I'm getting work done on my car using warranty right now!
Very bed service. I bought iteam even I didn’t open it they didn’t returned. They are very rude.contract says that they charge 20% restocking charge, but anyway they don’t wont return.
Updated Review: Parts problem? Don't stop here! Purchased a brand new battery here less than 12 months ago. The part was defective, when I tried to replace under Fords 3 year "replacement" warranty I got the most unorganized run around. All the way from the Parts Manager to the Service Manager. Ford.as a loyal customer, you can do better.
If you do buy Parts make sure you get a physical copy that you keep for the life of your automobile or they will tell you to figure it out on your own.
Go down the road to autozone, they warranty their batteries when they are defective. Takes about 3 minutes of your time.
So few ford service centers in Brooklyn so really want this place to do better. The service managers are efficent, the facility impressive. The challenge is extra repair suggestions and 20% plus rate card. No repair is sub $1,000 per item. Unless recall items I say you have to go to local good shops as roughly 60% the cost
Brought the car in to assess check engine light. $675 later, the light is still on.
Update: when I brought the car back in, they diagnosed free of charge and also waived the cost of labor. They only ended up charging me for the part. I appreciated this level of service.
They told me a half-day recall may take 4 days. And I see my car still sits in the parking lot on day 4. They haven’t started it yet. I have been calling them during the week and the representative lady never direct my call to the manager and just keep telling me I will get a call back. Terrible.
Unfortunately, the car went in for a required recall repair and came out with a few issues that were not issues before and the mechanic is taking no responsibility for what they have done.
You guys are so slow to check cars and fix cars and waste our time. It should take only an hour to check a car. You need to check for three days. Need to improve.
I had a recall all my car that was giving me a call. I called in advance prior to going because I had went to another place and they wanted me to make an appointment for 2 months later. These guy here said first come first serve. My recall was for a fuel tank issue. Dropped it off Thursday and had it finished and back the following day. Check engine light is gone and all the staff were nice and respectful.
I went in for a routine oil change, but there was an issue with oil leakage. They explained the issue, showed me the issue, and told me what they were going to do to fix it. I was in the shop for 1.5 hours. Super fast and efficient! The Service Advisor Gary was amazing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my Explorer.
Besides the oil change I had a recall on my wiper motor. Everyone is friendly, especially Gary. I was able to leave get a bite to eat. Gary texted me when the car was ready. I could’ve stayed and watched TV, drink coffee and/or have snacks from the machine. The facility is super clean as well as the bathrooms.
They charged me $167 plus tax for about 5 minutes of work.i had a loose engine cover that had to be removed, literally two screws. They didn't have the part in stock, so they couldn't replace it. I had to get back to work, so I paid and left.
Gave my truck in 2 weeks ago 2021 ford f-150 they give me vague deadlines and getting to work has been hard past 2 weeks without my truck.now they say they hav to call ford for issue yet they have no loaner to give me which is absurd.i have been very patient nd nice but thats not getting me anywhere so i have to go step it up before i dont get to see my truck for another month or so.never give your car in if u dont have a loaner they can giv u big mistake. UPDATE got the truck back charles was great only issue is no loaner nd long wait but got the truck back
